Abstract

This article aims to discuss Abu Yusuf's thoughts and their relevance to Indonesia's post-pandemic economic recovery strategy. This article research uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research. The data collection technique used is documentation, with data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis, induction and deduction. The conclusion from the discussion of this article is as follows. Abu Yusuf's thinking, which emphasizes economic justice, the active role of the state, and fair management and redistribution of wealth, is very relevant to the modern economic context, especially in Indonesia, especially in facing economic challenges exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The study of how these principles can be integrated into contemporary economic systems provides important insights for the development of a more inclusive and sustainable economy. Policymakers should consider a more systematic and coordinated integration of zakat to support social programs and economic development, especially in supporting community groups most affected by the pandemic. It is necessary to implement a fairer and more proportional taxation system, based on the principles of economic justice taught by Abu Yusuf, to ensure a more equal and effective distribution of the tax burden. The state must take a more active role in regulating and supporting critical economic sectors, ensuring that the economic policies implemented can stimulate growth while preventing wider inequality.

Abstract

The integration of Umer Chapra's Islamic economic values into Indonesia's economic policies presents a compelling vision for achieving economic justice, social welfare, and equitable wealth distribution. The aim of this research is to elucidate the main concepts within Chapra's economic thought and analyze the opportunities and challenges associated with integrating these values into Indonesia's economic policies. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing literature review and policy analysis. This study involves reviewing books, journal articles, policy documents, and official reports relevant to Islamic economics and Indonesian economic policies. The findings indicate that implementing Chapra's principles through fiscal and monetary policies can significantly enhance economic stability and growth. Successful examples include the use of zakat in Malaysia as a fiscal policy tool for poverty alleviation and the adoption of Shariah-compliant financial products in Saudi Arabia, contributing to economic diversification. Additionally, Islamic values-based economic empowerment programs in Indonesia, such as those implemented by BAZNAS and Dompet Dhuafa, show significant improvements in community welfare, including poverty reduction, increased income levels, and better access to education and healthcare. However, the research also identifies challenges such as efficient and transparent management of zakat funds, increasing public awareness, and expanding the reach of programs to remote areas. Integrating Umer Chapra's Islamic economic values into Indonesia's economic policies can create a more just, inclusive, and sustainable economic system. This research recommends that the government and policymakers strengthen regulatory frameworks, enhance public education, develop innovative financial products, and ensure transparency and accountability in program implementation.

Sharia banks and UMKM have been known as one of the businesses that are an important sector in the Indonesian economy. This research is a type of exploratory qualitative research. Meanwhile, conclusions are drawn inductively, where data and facts obtained from the field become the reference source. Secondary data is the main data in research collected through documentation from annual financial reports officially published by the Financial Services Authority. The results of this research show that Islamic banks play a role in encouraging UMKM to improve community welfare. This can be seen from statistical data which shows that in four consecutive years, Islamic banks have distributed funds to UMKM in the form of financing amounting to 20-23% of the total financing distributed. Of these funds, 49-62% is intended for working capital needs, while the rest is designed for investment needs to support UMKM productivity in the range of 38-51%.

Abstract

The study of the integration of Islamic microfinance in improving community welfare aims to investigate the role of Baitul Maal Wattamwil (BMT) finance in contributing to the economic progress of the community, especially for Al-Quran teachers. BMT has two functions, namely financing the economy and distributing zakat and infaq funds. In fact, the existence of BMT is in great demand by the community, especially among Al-Quran teachers, mosque activists and Islamic study groups. The reason is, BMT provides convenience in financing the family economy, while for Al-Quran educational institutions, they still receive social assistance through Islamic social finance, infaq and alms

Abstract

Financing is funding provided by one party to another to protect a previously agreed investment. Providing clients with access to capital for investment purposes in accordance with Islamic sharia law is what Islamic financial institutions refer to as financing. In the Islamic financial system, a purchase and sale transaction known as murabahah is one way to finance a project. Although the profit-sharing system is the main selling point of Islamic banking, the term "Islamic bank with profit-sharing bank" is controversial because the majority of Islamic banking funding comes from murabahah and not mudharabah. One of the main instruments in Islamic banking, murabahah financing, poses serious risks to liquidity and credit. This study uses qualitative research methods, especially field research. Interviews and documentation methods are part of the data collection process. The results of this study indicate a number of problems with murabahah financing, such as lack of supervision, fluctuations in debtors' ability to pay, and other economic factors. A more proactive approach to economic monitoring, more effective internal and external supervision, and a program to restructure financing sustainably are components of this plan. By implementing this plan, PT. BPRS Ngawi Regency will be able to manage murabahah financing better and reduce the possibility of financing problems arising in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the position of Pospay in increasing transaction volume at the Ngawi Branch Post Office through a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis approach. Data were collected through interviews and analysis of related documents. The results of the study identified several strengths, such as ease of use and accessibility, which contributed to the increase in transactions. However, weaknesses such as lack of socialization and public understanding were also revealed. Existing opportunities, such as increasing public interest in digital transactions, show potential for growth. On the other hand, threats from competitors and challenges in technological infrastructure are factors that need to be considered. Recommendations from this study include increasing user education and more effective promotions to maximize the potential of Pospay in Ngawi. The results of this study are expected to provide guidance for Post Office managers in optimizing digital services.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to various sectors of the economy, including courier services. In the context of the digital economy, the adoption of technology enhances operational efficiency, reduces costs, and improves service quality. PT Pos Indonesia has responded by launching the Pos Aja application, which facilitates users in accessing parcel delivery services online. This application allows users to order, track packages, obtain rate information, and make payments easily. The main benefits of the Pos Aja application include ease of access, reduced waiting times, and cost efficiency. This research explores the efficiency of the Pos Aja application compared to conventional methods, addressing questions regarding productivity, time flexibility, and challenges in digitalization. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on the Ngawi Post Office branch, which faces unique digital infrastructure challenges. This study provides new insights into the implementation of the Pos Aja application and offers recommendations for PT Pos Indonesia to enhance the effectiveness of digitalization. It is also expected to provide guidance for policymakers on the importance of digital infrastructure in the transformation of public services.
