Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the duties and functions of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in Cilimus Village, Kuningan Regency, particularly in accommodating and conveying community aspirations and planning development programs. The formation of BPD as a community representative within village governance is intended to accommodate and convey community aspirations. For program planning to be directly felt by the community, BPD should involve the community in planning programs to be implemented. Additionally, BPD has duties and functions in discussing and agreeing on Village Regulation (PerDes) drafts. As observed in the BPD of Cilimus Village, Kuningan Regency, the duties and functions of BPD have not run optimally, particularly in accommodating aspirations and the lack of initiative from BPD members in drafting and discussing PerDes. This research attempts to identify the duties and functions of BPD in carrying out their tasks and identify obstacles faced by the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in Cilimus Village, Kuningan Regency. This study aims to examine how the duties and functions of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in Cilimus Village are implemented using qualitative methods. It is expected that after this research, BPD in Cilimus Village, Kuningan Regency, will be able to carry out their duties and functions as expected.

Abstract

The cost planning process is the initial stage of a construction project to plan for implementation costs that allow the project owner to determine economic feasibility and evaluate alternatives to achieve the desired feasibility. Poor planning can result in cost overruns, delays and even project cancellations. The cost planning process must be carried out accurately by considering many risk factors so that it can reduce the occurrence of cost overruns at the end of the project. Systemic risk is one of the factors that is often the main driver of the accuracy of cost estimates, especially during the early stages of project determination (AACE, 2020). The purpose of the study was to determine the most dominant systemic risk factors for the accuracy of cost estimates based on the owner's point of view. The methods used are qualitative and quantitative approaches or combined data from both (Ahnyar, Andriani, & Sukmana, 2020), surveys, expert validation, Risk Analysis using the Probability Impact Matrix and Forum Group Discussion (FGD). Questionnaire surveys were conducted on 34 respondents and processed with SPSS software to analyze the data. 13 systemic risk factors that affect the accuracy of the estimate were identified. The control strategy for the 13 recommended systemic risk factors is to develop operational standards for risk-based estimation, create a unit price database based on the realization price of previous projects, conduct training by involving competent senior estimates, add reserve or contingency factors, and look for alternative materials without reducing benefits and usefulness.

Abstract

The growth of the local coffee industry in Indonesia as triggered intense competition. The ‘ngopi’ (coffee-drinking) culture, increasing purchasing power, and evolving lifestyles have created promising business opportunities. The homogeneity concepts among coffee businesses has driven the innovation of competitive advantages. Customer loyalty is crucial for sustainability of Kopi X. This research investigates the influence of brand experience on customer loyalty in local coffee shops, using Kopi X as a case study. This quantitative study employs an online questionnaire and structural equation modelling (SEM) with the aid of AMOS software. The independent variables are brand experience (sensory, affective, behavioral, and intellectual) and brand love. The dependent variable is brand loyalty, with age serving as a moderating variable. The research findings indicate that brand experience dimensions such as sensory experience, affective experience, and intellectual experience have a positive and significant effect on brand love. However, the behavioral experience dimension does not significantly influence brand love. Brand love exerts a positive and significant influence on brand loyalty. Age strengthens the influence on brand love on brand loyalty. This research is expected to provide empirical contributions to the understanding of the factors influencing loyalty in local coffee shops. The results can offer strategic recommendations for coffee business stakeholders to enhance customer loyalty through effective brand experience management.

Abstract

In recent years, dangdut koplo has emerged as a significant cultural phenomenon in Indonesia, particularly among youth audiences. This music genre’s popularity stems from its energetic rhythms, viral social media presence, and interactive performance style. Against this backdrop, event organizers face growing challenges in creating memorable experiences that resonate with modern audiences. This research aims to analyze the strategies employed by event organizer One Night Project in creating a memorable atmosphere or vibe at dangdut koplo events. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores various elements that shape the audience experience, such as artist selection, stage design, use of lighting and sound technology, and interaction between the audience and organizers. This research employs customer experience theory and atmosphere theory. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with organizers, audience members, sponsors, and media partners involved in several One Night Project events. The findings reveal that the synergy between carefully curated elements of music, visuals, and social interaction can enhance audience emotional engagement, creating a lively and memorable atmosphere. Additionally, social media plays a crucial role in amplifying the event’s impact through documentation and digital interactions before, during, and after the concert. These findings offer practical insights for entertainment industry practitioners, particularly those organizing dangdut koplo music events, in developing effective and impactful audience experience strategies.

Abstract

Public trust in village governance is crucial for sustainable development, particularly in the management of village funds. However, issues such as lack of transparency and weak supervision in Kampung Yahim, Jayapura Regency, have raised concerns about fund misallocation and eroded community confidence. Addressing these challenges is essential to ensure accountability and foster trust in local governance. Using a quantitative approach, this research employs multiple linear regression analysis on data collected from 96 respondents selected via purposive sampling. Primary data were gathered through a Likert-scale questionnaire, measuring supervisi (X1), transparansi (X2), and community trust (Y). Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 22, including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests to validate the regression model. The results of the research indicate that supervisi and transparansi in the management of village funds influence community trust in Yahim Village, Sentani District, Jayapura Regency. Effective supervisi and transparansi in village fund management are critical for building and maintaining community trust. Strengthening these aspects can mitigate misuse of funds and promote greater public engagement in local governance. The research recommends that village authorities enhance accountability mechanisms, such as regular audits and open financial reporting, to reinforce trust. Policymakers should institutionalize participatory monitoring systems to ensure sustainable and transparent fund management. These measures can serve as a model for improving governance in similar rural contexts.

Abstract

Superapps mobile banking is a new type of digital banking service that combines financial transactions and lifestyle aspects into one platform. Superapps are becoming more popular in Indonesia since more people are using the internet and smartphones. This is because there is a rising need for practical and integrated financial solutions. Many studies have looked at the early use of mobile banking, but not many have looked at what keeps people using superapps mobile banking, especially in Indonesia. Using an enhanced Expectation Confirmation Model (ECM), this study intends to look at how perceived security, trust, confirmation, perceived utility, and satisfaction affect the intention to continue using.  We did a survey of 268 people who use superapps mobile banking from regular banks in Indonesia. We then used Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to look at the data. The results show that confirmation has a beneficial effect on perceived usefulness and satisfaction. Trust and Perceived usefulness seem also to have a big effect on Satisfaction, which is a big marker of whether someone will continue using the services.  Perceived security doesn't directly affect satisfaction, but it does have a big effect on trust, which then affects continuance intention. These results show how important it is to develop trust and satisfaction in order to keep users loyal in Indonesia's growing superapps mobile banking ecosystem.
