Abstract

PT Dizamatra Powerindo is a prominent player in Indonesia's coal mining industry, yet its managerial performance remains suboptimal. This study aims to examine the moderating role of work stress levels in weakening the relationship between management accounting information systems and managerial performance. The research involved 87 managers within the company, with 71 valid responses collected and analyzed using questionnaires. The findings reveal that managerial performance is influenced by management accounting information systems, while the interaction between these systems and work stress levels does not have a direct effect on managerial performance. Furthermore, the study concludes that work stress levels do not moderate the relationship between management accounting information systems and managerial performance.

Abstract

Upstream oil and gas companies face challenges in managing transformer asset data that is vital to operations. The complexity of manual data and transformer information makes it difficult to make optimal decisions. This study aims to develop an effective transformer asset management dashboard using FSN (Fast-Slow-Non Moving) and ABC (Analysis Based Costing) analysis. The research methodology includes identifying system needs, collecting data through observation and interviews, developing solutions using Microsoft Power BI, and testing the User Acceptance Test (UAT). The results showed that the dashboard successfully integrated transformer data with real-time visualization including availability status (2,124 units available, 4,305 ready line units, 2,181 units not ready), ABC-FSN classification (AF 30%, BS 20%, AS 10%, CN 40%), and monthly stock trends. The UAT evaluation of 17 respondents showed an average score of 4.5 with a very appropriate category in the aspects of functional suitability, usability, performance efficiency, reliability, accuracy, visual design, and user satisfaction. Dashboards integrated with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem enable real-time access and support data-driven decision-making for transformer asset management optimization.

Abstract

Water resource management faces complex challenges in decision-making, particularly in selecting effective strategies to restore polluted river water quality. Kali Surabaya, as a strategic water source, has experienced quality deterioration due to domestic and industrial pollution, compounded by climate change pressures. Recent assessments indicate mild pollution with several parameters not meeting quality standards. Given resource constraints and rising demands for class I and II raw water, a systematic approach is necessary to determine the optimal recovery strategies. This study employs the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method integrated with the Benefit, Cost, Opportunity, and Risk (BCOR) framework to evaluate interrelated criteria and sub-criteria, identifying strategic priorities specifically in the Kali Tengah segment, which faces considerable pollution pressure. Based on literature review, water quality data, and expert questionnaire results, the primary criteria identified for strategy selection show Benefit (0.4127) as the highest priority, followed by Opportunity (0.23118), Cost (0.1292), and Risk (0.0695). The recommended strategies with optimistic scenario values include establishing communal industrial wastewater treatment (10.8102), applying nanobubble technology (0.6534), and periodic flushing (0.1396). Considering sustainability aspects (economic, social & environmental), this integrated approach aims to enhance long-term water quality management efforts

Abstract

The coal mining logistics industry in Indonesia has a strategic role as the world's largest coal producer, with a significant contribution to state revenue. This study aims to analyze the main obstacles, wastes that occur, and proposed improvements in the coal loading and unloading process at PT XYZ to increase efficiency and productivity through a lean thinking approach. The methodology of this research includes a qualitative approach through value stream mapping and quantitative using fishbone diagrams to produce a comprehensive analysis. The analysis is carried out through process activity mapping, the preparation of current state maps, and the design of future state maps to provide suggestions for improvement. Based on the results of the study, several recommendations for improvement were obtained from the results of the analysis on coal unloading or loading activities which included Value Added (VA) or Necessary but Non-Value Added (NNVA). The proposed improvements include the application of double crossing dismantling methods, digitization of administrative processes, and the use of drone technology to facilitate the physical inspection process in the field. If the proposal can be implemented, there will be an increase in the time effectiveness of coal loading and unloading activities by 14.20%, with details of unloading activities increasing by 25.30% or from 1,004 minutes to 750 minutes, and coal loading activities by 3.10% or from 3,067 minutes to 2,972 minutes.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of the work environment, perceived organizational support, and digital capability on employee performance with motivation acting as a mediating variable. Utilizing a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach, the research examines data collected from employees at state own port enterprise in Java and Lampung province. Findings reveal that digital capability positively influences both employee performance and motivation, work environment directly impacts employee performance only when mediated by motivation. Interestingly, perceived organizational support shows no significant effect on either employee performance or motivation. These results underscore the critical role of digital capability in enhancing employee motivation and performance, suggesting that port enterprise should prioritize digital investments to sustain business operations and achieve higher employee productivity. Digital capability refers to the ability of companies and employees to use digital technologies effectively to improve performance, productivity and innovation. The research contributes to the existing literature by providing new insights into the dynamics of work environment and perceived organizational support within the context of digital transformation in state own port enterprise.

Abstract

This study aims to design risk management for a vehicle rental company in East Kalimantan using the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) approach and the House of Risk (HOR) model. The transportation industry, particularly vehicle rentals, faces various risks that can disrupt the company's operations and performance. These risks include vehicle damage, delays in spare parts delivery, and payment issues from customers. This research will design Risk Management by applying Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) using the ISO 31000:2018 approach. In this study, the HOR method is used to identify, analyze, and prioritize risks and risk agents. This research combines the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) methods to provide an integrated framework in risk management analysis. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of structured risk management can improve the company's operational effectiveness and efficiency. The proposed mitigation strategies include enhancing vehicle maintenance, staff training, and developing better monitoring systems. By implementing ERM and HOR, it is expected to manage risks more effectively, reduce the negative impact of occurring risks, and achieve the company's objectives more efficiently.

Abstract

The quality of education is the main indicator in achieving national education goals, including in the madrasah environment. This article aims to analyze the managerial strategies of madrasah principals in carrying out managerial functions (planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising) to improve the quality of education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nurul Haq Kasongan, Central Kalimantan. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and observations. The results of the study indicate that the madrasah principal carries out managerial functions in a participatory manner by involving all teachers in planning, dividing tasks according to individual capacity, and implementing programs through increasing curriculum understanding, teacher skills, and strengthening supervision. Supervision is carried out periodically by emphasizing learning evaluation and coaching-based follow-up. The committee and parents are also involved through partnerships built on trust and communication. The novelty of this article lies in the identification of value-based management practices that integrate spiritual, participatory, and adaptive approaches as a response to resource limitations. This approach shows that in the context of madrasas, the strength of collegial culture and institutional spirituality can be key factors in improving the quality of education in a sustainable manner.
