Abstract

As an archipelagic country, Indonesia faces significant challenges in ensuring maritime safety and conducting effective hydrographic surveys. The Hydrographic Risk Assessment (HRA) approach is used to identify high-risk areas caused by outdated or inaccurate hydrographic data, dense vessel traffic, and the strategic or economic value of certain regions. This study aims to develop a multi-criteria decision-making model to determine national hydrographic survey priorities more efficiently and adaptively, in accordance with Indonesia’s complex maritime geography. The analysis results indicate that Navigational Safety (0.47) and Data Quality (0.35) are the most dominant criteria influencing survey prioritization. Sub-criteria such as Traffic Volume (0.32), Bathymetric Conditions (0.17), and CATZOC (Category Zone of Confidence) (0.14) serve as key indicators in the decision-making process. Areas such as the Indonesian Archipelagic Sea Lanes (ALKI) (0.26), Strategic Straits (0.15), and Strategic Ports (0.12) are identified as top priorities for survey implementation. These findings suggest that a risk-based and geospatial data-integrated approach provides a strong foundation for designing more targeted and impactful hydrographic survey policies. The study recommends several strategies, including enhancing the resolution and coverage of nautical charts, developing a national geospatial hydrographic information system, and utilizing modern survey technologies such as autonomous survey vessels and satellite data integration. Accordingly, this assessment model is expected to strengthen institutional capacity in supporting maritime safety, optimizing marine spatial planning, and promoting sustainable management of Indonesia’s vast and dynamic maritime domain.

Abstract

The Russian invasion of Ukraine that has occurred since February 24, 2022 has shown Russian masculinity in dominating Ukraine. The language construction delivered by Putin in his speech narratives illustrates unequal gender power relations. The assumption of Russia as a man who came to protect Ukraine from Western influence justifies the violence and war they are carrying out. The patriarchal and machismo social system in Russia is also a source of violence as well as legitimizing Russia's actions. The image of Putin as a macho leader cannot be separated from the narrative he uses in his speech. Therefore, this paper aims to answer the question of how feminism reads Putin's language construction in military operations in Ukraine. To answer this question, the author uses a feminist poststructuralist approach. Through this approach, it can be understood that the discourse in Putin's speech narrative has constructed a language that gives meaning to the concept of gender based on Russian traditional values. This meaning influences the perceptions and actions of Russian society in the conflict in Ukraine.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of efficiency of the distribution of culinary MSME products through e-commerce platforms in the Greater Jakarta area based on cost, time, service, and output indicators. The research method used was quantitative descriptive with a questionnaire instrument on a Likert scale of 1–5, which was compiled based on the SCOR model, logistics distribution theory, and Logistics Service Quality (LSQ) and SERVQUAL dimensions. A total of 30 culinary MSMEs who actively use e-commerce services such as GoFood, GrabFood, and ShopeeFood became research respondents. The results showed that the distribution costs were relatively high (average 3.16), mainly due to platform commissions and packaging costs. The distribution time dimension is in the good category (3.74), although in practice there is still a potential for delay due to the process of picking up products by drivers. Service/reliability earned a high score (3.87), indicating customer satisfaction with order accuracy, product condition, and tracking. The output of the effort showed an increase (3.84) in sales, reach, and customer satisfaction. An efficiency index of 1.12 indicates that distribution through e-commerce platforms as a whole is relatively efficient because the output produced is higher than the cost and time inputs. These findings confirm that the use of e-commerce platforms plays an important role in supporting the efficiency of the distribution of culinary MSMEs in urban areas. However, optimizing cost strategies and platform selection is still needed so that MSMEs can achieve a more sustainable level of efficiency.

Abstract

Concerns over the adverse effects of using synthetic dyes in food products—such as the risk of allergies and long-term health issues—have prompted the need for safer and more nutritious natural dye alternatives. This research aims to explore the innovation in adding Moringa Leaf Puree (Moringa Oleifera) in the making of Roti Jala as an effort to present traditional foods that are healthier and more functional. The research employed an experimental approach with three treatments, namely the addition of Moringa leaf puree at levels of 25%, 50%, and 75% of the total wheat flour. The results showed that the 25% Moringa leaf treatment was the most preferred formulation among the panelists, achieving an overall preference rate of 81%, especially in terms of color, texture, and taste. The ANOVA test indicated significant differences in color, aroma, and taste, but not in texture. Macronutrient content analysis revealed an increase in energy, protein, and fat corresponding with the higher addition of Moringa leaf puree, where the 75% sample yielded 872.2 kcal of energy, 210.7 g of protein, and 179.2 g of fat per 200 grams serving. This study demonstrates that Moringa leaf puree can serve as a natural coloring agent while enhancing nutritional value without diminishing the typical characteristics of Roti Jala. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of traditional culinary innovations that are healthy, economically valuable, and supportive of sustainable food product advancement.

Abstract

Employer branding is a strategy for attracting and retaining potential employees amidst increasingly fierce competition. This strategy is particularly relevant for Generation Z employees, a young generation with unique characteristics and high expectations for a flexible, meaningful, and innovative work environment. When choosing a job, they consider not only financial aspects but also company values, opportunities for personal development, and work-life balance. Therefore, developing employer branding that meets the needs and expectations of Generation Z employees is key to companies remaining competitive and attracting quality talent. This study analyses the influence and priorities of four dimensions of employer branding: economic value (salary and compensation), social value (work environment and culture), development value (learning and career opportunities), and interest value (innovation and challenges). The methods used were multiple linear regression and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), involving 200 respondents, consisting of final-year undergraduate students and fresh graduates majoring in Information Technology, Engineering, and Management in Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that interest value is the strongest and most prioritized factor in attracting prospective Generation Z employees to apply for jobs, followed by economic value, which also has a significant influence. Development value was not proven to be significant, while social value tended to have a negative influence. These findings provide practical recommendations for companies to develop effective employer branding strategies,

Abstract

Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) is advantageous because it can be cultivated year-round. However, data from the Central Statistics Agency of Riau Islands Province (2025) show that its production has fluctuated over the years. This research aims to utilize watermelon peel as a substitute for rice flour in making traditional nagasari cakes. The innovation addresses the high percentage of wasted watermelon peels, which can cause environmental pollution. The study used an experimental method with a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) and three substitution levels of watermelon peel flour: 25%, 50%, and 75%. The peels were dried at 60°C for 9–10 hours, then ground and sifted into fine flour. The resulting nagasari products were evaluated organoleptically by 20 panelists using hedonic and hedonic quality tests. Results showed that increasing the substitution level significantly affected color, producing a darker appearance due to the Maillard reaction. In contrast, no significant differences were found in aroma and taste among the formulas. However, texture varied, with higher substitution producing softer cakes. The 25% substitution formula (sample 173) received the highest rating from panelists. Therefore, using watermelon peel flour in nagasari production supports food diversification while offering an innovative approach to reducing organic waste, consistent with zero-waste and sustainable food principles.
