Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of competition law in the trading system of cooking oil prices for the public interest in Indonesia. Business competition law aims to encourage healthy competition between business actors in the market, including in the cooking oil sector. However, the implementation of this law still faces various challenges, especially related to suboptimal law enforcement and lack of public understanding of consumer rights in the market. Through a literature study approach, this study discusses the concept of business competition law and its role in encouraging healthy competition in cooking oil price trading. The results showed that the implementation of competition law in cooking oil price trading can provide benefits for the public, such as more affordable prices and better product quality. However, this can only be achieved if the government, business actors, and the community work together to improve understanding and enforcement of business competition law. In conclusion, the implementation of business competition law in cooking oil price trading can have a positive impact on the public interest if carried out properly and optimally. Therefore, an active role from all relevant parties is needed to ensure the successful implementation of this law.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the DDI Mattoanging Bantaeng Islamic Boarding School and the Nurus Izzah Bantaeng Integrated Islamic School. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a total of 16 informants from two schools. This study aims to see how far the government's efforts are in implementing education so that it is relevant in accordance with the 4.0 era. This evaluation will be carried out on the school's vision and mission, implementation of learning, and planting character education in students. The results of the study show that the relevance of education to religious-based Islamic boarding schools and general public in the 4.0 era has quite a few pros and cons. Where some people's perceptions see that the 4.0 era requires a moral foundation and religious values ??which are increasingly being eroded by cultural acculturation both from within the country and from abroad. However, the curriculum in education at Islamic boarding schools, which incidentally focuses on religious learning, is considered by some people to be less relevant to current conditions. Where the digitalis-based 4.0 era is seen as less capable of making students ready to face the world of classroom work. In contrast to public schools which are considered to be abreast of current technological developments, they also face obstacles in filtering students so they don't fully consume information that is considered too fast and this then has an impact on the development of children's learning competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine public services in the field of Intercity and Interprovincial (AKAP) Bus transportation in Terminal Kalideres between 2017-2019, considering that Kalideres Terminal is the largest in Jakarta with more than 5,000 passengers. This large number results in still not optimal service functions managed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Agency. The research method used a qualitative approach to find out more about public services in the field of transportation involving informants from the management and passengers. The results showed that with the rapid development of cities, human activities are increasingly diverse, so we need a system that regulates the transportation system in Indonesia. The impact that arises is the increasing intensity of human movement as labor and goods as production materials. The factor of means and transportation greatly affects the smooth mobility of passengers and goods. Therefore, in addition to infrastructure factors, service factors also have an important role. This study used the snowball sampling technique, which determined informants based on previous informants without determining the exact number by digging up information related to the required research topic. This paper is intended to improve the quality of service and satisfaction of Kalideres bus-station service users.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence for the impact of manager ownership and capital structure on stock returns, mediated by dividend policy. Manager ownership is tested by comparing the size of shares owned by the manager to the total number of shares. The size of the capital structure is tested by the leverage ratio, which represents the company's total debt to equity. A stock's return is measured by comparing the market price at the beginning of the year to the market price at the end of the year. The study population utilizes the consumer goods industry listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2020-2021 consumer goods industry. A sample of 25 companies was extracted based on the target sampling method. This study proves that management ownership and capital structure influence dividend policy. Management ownership and dividend policy affect stock returns, but capital structure does not. Furthermore, the results of the Sobel test prove that dividend policy does not convey the impact of management ownership and capital structure on stock returns.

Abstract

Universal war is a conflict that involves many components of the state in defending the territory of the state. In order to face universal war, good preparation and training for soldiers is very important. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the role of drills and simulations in preparing soldiers for universal warfare. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method in the Indonesian Air Force. The results showed that drills and simulations have an important role in preparing soldiers for universal warfare. Drills and simulations help improve soldiers' technical and tactical skills, improve situational awareness, and improve soldiers' ability to work in difficult and complex conditions. In addition, exercises and simulations also help identify weaknesses and strengths in the operation plan, so that necessary improvements can be made before the actual operation is carried out. However, the study also shows that exercises and simulations are not fully capable of mimicking the conditions of actual universal warfare. Therefore, exercises and simulations need to be made part of a broader training strategy, which includes training in more complex and realistic situations, as well as improvements in non-technical skills such as leadership, interpersonal skills, and ethics. The study concluded that training and simulation are one of the most important factors in preparing soldiers for universal warfare. Well-planned drills and simulations can help improve soldiers' ability to deal with difficult and complex situations in universal warfare, enabling them to act effectively in dangerous situations and defend national security.
