Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of the operational efficiency ratio (TATO) and the capital structure ratio (DER) on the stock prices of companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), with the profitability ratio (ROA) as an intervening variable. The research covers the period from 2020 to 2025 and employs a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS version 4.0. The results of the hypothesis testing indicate that: (1) TATO has a positive and significant effect on stock price (coefficient = 0.272; t = 2.523; p = 0.012); (2) DER has a negative and significant effect on stock price (coefficient = -0.289; t = 3.171; p = 0.002); (3) ROA has a positive and significant effect on stock price (coefficient = 0.251; t = 3.492; p = 0.000); (4) TATO positively affects ROA (coefficient = 0.217; t = 2.918; p = 0.004); (5) DER negatively affects ROA (coefficient = -0.288; t = 4.543; p = 0.000); (6) ROA mediates the effect of TATO on stock price (coefficient = 0.054; t = 2.094; p = 0.036); and (7) ROA mediates the effect of DER on stock price (coefficient = -0.072; t = 2.592; p = 0.010). The adjusted R-square value for stock price is 0.158. These findings demonstrate that operational efficiency, capital structure, and profitability ratios significantly influence the market value of Islamic stocks, both directly and through mediation mechanisms.

Abstract

Individual Taxpayer Compliance (Wajib Pajak Orang Pribadi - WPOP) is a crucial element in optimizing state revenue from the tax sector. This research aims to analyze the effects of tax amnesty, tax rates, and Machiavellian traits on individual taxpayer compliance in the city of Bandung, as well as to evaluate the role of risk preference as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was employed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, involving 100 individual taxpayers registered at the Primary Tax Office (KPP Pratama) Bandung. The analysis results indicate that tax amnesty and tax rates have a significant positive effect on taxpayer compliance. Conversely, Machiavellian traits have a significant negative effect. Risk preference does not moderate the relationship between tax amnesty and compliance, nor between Machiavellian traits and compliance. However, risk preference was found to moderate the relationship between tax rates and compliance, where taxpayers with a tendency to avoid risk are more compliant with fair changes in tax rates compared to those with high risk tolerance. This research contributes theoretically by integrating psychological and fiscal factors in explaining tax compliance. The practical implication is that policymakers should consider taxpayer behavioral characteristics when designing policies that encourage sustainable voluntary compliance.

Abstract

The beauty industry in Indonesia has experienced significant growth, particularly post-COVID-19, with increasing demand for professional skincare services. However, maintaining customer retention remains a challenge for clinics like Keziaspot East Jakarta, which faces fluctuating repeat client rates due to inconsistent service quality. This research examines the influence of service quality on customer retention at Keziaspot, aiming to identify key areas for improvement. Using a descriptive-quantitative approach, data were collected from 80 respondents through surveys, measuring service quality (tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy) and customer retention (financial benefit, social benefit, structural ties). Statistical analyses, including linear regression and normality tests, revealed a significant positive relationship (regression coefficient = 0.537, *p* = 0.001), with service quality explaining 77.6% of customer retention variance. Findings highlight reliability and empathy as critical drivers, while structural ties require enhancement. The research concludes that consistent service quality improvements—particularly in staff training, communication, and facility cleanliness—can strengthen retention. Practical implications include adopting integrated strategies like CRM tools and loyalty programs to foster long-term customer relationships. This research contributes to service quality theory and offers actionable insights for beauty clinics competing in Indonesia’s growing market.

Abstract

Wonosobo Regency is one of the leading tourist destinations in Central Java with significant natural and cultural potential. However, fluctuations in tourism sector revenues, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, indicate the need to identify factors that affect the economic performance of the sector. This research aims to analyze the impact of the number of hotels, the number of tourists, and the number of tourist attractions on tourism sector income in Wonosobo Regency from 2014 to 2022. The data in this study were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Wonosobo Regency, the Tourism and Culture Office of Wonosobo Regency, and other sources related to this research. This study uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with EViews 10 as the analysis tool. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it was found that the number of tourists and the number of hotels have a positive and significant influence, while the number of tourist attractions has a negative and significant influence. The R² result obtained was 0.880161, showing that the variables under study (number of tourists, number of hotels, and number of tourist attractions) influence tourism sector income by 88%, while other variables outside the study account for the remaining 12%. These findings underscore the need to prioritize quality over quantity in tourism development. Local governments should enhance existing attractions, boost promotion, and streamline hotel investment processes. Tourism stakeholders must innovate services and collaborate to strengthen sustainable appeal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) risks in the core wall construction work of the Communication Tower Project, which has reached 70% progress. Over 80% of the work is carried out by vendors and subcontractors, presenting challenges in coordination and standardization of OHS practices. The methods employed include Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC), Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA). Data were collected through field observations, questionnaires, and interviews with fifteen respondents ranging from field workers to project managers. The results show that the highest-risk activities are climbing formwork and reforming roof, both classified as high-risk. AHP was used to prioritize mitigation actions based on three criteria: severity, likelihood, and cost, with severity identified as the most dominant factor. CBA indicated that despite the relatively high mitigation costs, the proposed controls are effective in significantly reducing risk exposure, especially for activities at height and heavy equipment operation. The integration of these four methods provides a mitigation strategy that is data-driven, cost-efficient, and applicable to large-scale and complex construction projects.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the contribution of RK and EAF technologies using a technometric approach, focusing on four technological components: Technoware, Humanware, Inforware, and Orgaware (THIO). Furthermore, the study analyzes the economic feasibility of both systems using financial indicators and sensitivity risk analysis. The methodology includes calculating the Technology Contribution Coefficient (TCC) for each technology based on the degree of sophistication, state of the art, and intensity of use. Additionally, the economic analysis employs indicators such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit-Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio), and Payback Period, along with sensitivity analysis on cost and interest rate variables. The results show that both technologies fall into the semi-modern category, with TCC values of 0.7588 for RK and 0.7563 for EAF. However, Humanware in RK and Inforware in EAF are identified as the weakest contributing components, highlighting priority areas for improvement. From an economic perspective, EAF outperforms RK across all financial indicators under both optimistic and pessimistic scenarios. These findings lead to a recommendation for a gradual transformation from RK to EAF, emphasizing workforce development, information system digitization, and technological management enhancement. The primary output of this research is the development of a technology contribution assessment model based on technometric analysis, integrated with economic feasibility evaluation, providing a strategic foundation for more precise technology and investment decision-making in the mineral processing industry.

Abstract

Purpose: With companies that began launching green products or services considered to be environmentally safe, companies began to contribute to making a safer environment. However, consumers lack the knowledge of what makes them skeptical of these green products. This research aims to see the influence of green marketing orientation and green marketing mix in influencing purchase intention and customer retention. Methodology: This research will be done by purposive sampling and uses cross-sectional form to gather respondents' data and acquired data will be then used to test each hypothesis regarding the influence of green marketing orientation and green marketing mix on purchase intention that would influence customer retention. Result: The result of the research proves that Green Marketing Mix and Green Marketing orientation does indeed influence purchase intention and would also influence customer retention afterward. By using SEM PLS 3 it was determined that all the hypotheses were proven to be accurate Implication: This research implied that Green Marketing Orientation and Green Marketing mix and marketing orientations influence purchase intentions as consumers have given information regarding what are the green elements in a green product. With one-time purchase intentions already made, customer retention would also be maintained or increased as purchase intentions helped to influence it.
