Abstract

This study aims to analyze the existence of interpretation from the point of view of its methodology and objectives. This research uses a type of qualitative research with a literature approach that relies on the use of data sources in the form of reputable books and articles to carry out critical analysis by means of content analysis which is the focus of discussion. The steps for analyzing documents in the form of literature start from reconstructing concepts, describing objects, and looking for goals related to interpretation. The results of the study show that the existence of interpretation from the point of view of the object and purpose of tafsir research has made it easier for mufassir and tafsir researchers to understand and interpret the verses of the Qur'an, to ensure that there will be no misunderstandings in interpreting and interpreting these verses; so that in the future the people will be guided properly and correctly in practicing the teachings of Islam, especially in understanding and implementing the verses which he made as divine instructions in the reality of life for both worldly and ukhrawi purposes

Abstract

This study aims to explain the object of the philosophy of the Qur’an by beginning with an explanation of the signs of the Qur’an about the source of knowledge, namely: first, the universe; second, human reason itself; third, the source of knowledge that comes from revelation. In addition, the method of obtaining knowledge is also explained, namely first, knowledge is obtained by humans through sensory perception (al-h}issi> ) or it can also be said through empirical experience (al-tajri>bah), second, through the baya>ni method (language analysis), third, through analysis of logical and rational thinking (naz}ariyah ‘aqliyah) or in the popular term burha>ni method, fourth, through intuition and contemplation or ma’rifat al-qalb after going through the riya>d}ah process and muja>hadah so that muka>syafah occurs, or better known as the ‘irfa>ni method, and fifth, through revelation and direct testimony (syaha>dah) of trusted people for the revelation to the prophet God, otherwise known as the al-matlu> method.

Abstract

Ramadan al-Buthi is a popular, influential, controversial, unique scholar who has intensity and contribution. This library qualitative research discusses the contribution of Ramadhan al-Buthi in the study of the Koran. The results of the research revealed that Ramadhan al-Buthi is a multidisciplinary scholar who has become a reference in various fields of Islam. Among of the concentrations of his studies is the study of the Qur’an. The contribution of Ramadhan al-Buthi can be seen in his various works in the field of al-Qur’an studies both written and unwritten. In written form, it can be categorized into aspects: 1) the field of knowledge of the Qur’an, 2) doubts about the Qur’an, and 3) thematic Qur’an interpretation. Unwritten contributions in the form of seminars and recitations are one of the greatest, namely Tafsi>r al-Qur’a>n al-Kari>m in oral form which was recorded in 1000 episodes. Unfortunately, until now this interpretation has not been written down so knowledge regarding the methodology of the interpretation is still very limited.

Abstract

The old rule of asba>b al-nuzu>l in the interpretation of the Qur’an gives birth to textual understanding. Asba>b al-nuzu>l limits the scope of interpretation of certain verses. Because revealed verses cannot be used as the sole basis for determining the direction of interpretation of the Qur’an. This paper uses critical discourse analysis methods to assess and reconstruct the rules of asba>b al-nuzu>l contextually. In the end, asba>b al-nuzu>l was no longer considered the cause of the revelation of the verse, but rather the reason for interpreting the Qur’an. With a new position and understanding, all verses will find new reasons or causes to restore.

Abstract

Fashion trends that are growing are not only targeting adults but also teenagers and children. In fact, Citayam Fashion Week is a fashion show that is carried out by various groups without age limits at the zebra crossing in the Depok, Citayam, and Bojonggede areas of Jakarta. Technological developments not only affect fashion trends but also affect the culture and mindset of society. Therefore, the development of modern times, followed by developments in information technology, cannot be avoided or even become fanatical towards other people who continue to follow this fashion trend. One of them is the case of a student at SMAN 1 Banguntapan, Yogyakarta, who was forced to wear the headscarf, among other cases. This article uses the descriptive-analytical-thematic method with a type of library research. This article will outline: 1) What is the genealogy of the veil in Indonesia? 2) How is the aesthetics of the syar’i headscarf in interpretation and reality? 3) How are the efforts to moderate religion in Indonesia in the veil verse? One of them is by extending the headscarf over the woman’s head to the chest or covering all the limbs except for the face and palms. This aims to protect oneself from interference by bad men while maintaining honor. If human honor is maintained, there will be no more harassment or acts of violence committed, and efforts to maintain prosperity in human life can be realized.
