Abstract

The development of technology is becoming more sophisticated, and the acceleration of theworld is increasing over time, including in the field of online marketing. This research aims toexamine the influence of the marketing strategy of Bittersweet by Najla on purchasing decisionsin Surabaya. The population and sample in this study are all Najla consumers in Surabaya whomade purchases and consumed the products during a certain period. The research method usedis a mixed method, which combines quantitative and qualitative approaches. The researchvariables consist of independent variables: influencer (X1), content advertisement (X2), brandimage (X3), and the dependent variable of purchasing decision (Y). The data analysis techniqueused is multiple linear regression. The results of the study prove that influencers and brandimage do not have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, contentadvertisements have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. This shows that thecombination of content used by Najla, which includes calls to interact, persuasion, and activeengagement, is able to elicit responses from consumers to build a close relationship withBittersweet by Najla. This active content activity is able to have a positive and significant impacton purchasing decisions. As a result, content advertisements have a significant effect on thepurchasing decisions of Bittersweet by Najla’s dessert box products

Abstract

N203R implements a marketing information system to manage marketing. However, theinformation system has not been able to produce the required information. The purpose ofcarrying out an information system audit in the marketing function is to provide a report on theperformance assessment of the information system in the marketing function and providerecommendations for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of parts of the informationsystem that are still lacking. The focus of this research is referring to the marketing functioninformation system audit at CV. NR Herbalcare, Jombang. The type of data used is descriptivequalitative data and the data source is primary data. The methods used in the research areobservation and interviews. In this research, researchers will carry out audit planning, carryout audit testing, as well as audit reporting and recommendations. The research results foundvarious findings in the marketing information system implemented by N203R that needed to beimproved. Meanwhile, suggestions and recommendations based on the findings are alsoincluded.

Abstract

A bridge is a land transportation infrastructure that can be passed by vehicles or pedestrians tocross difficult terrain such as rivers, lakes, highways, railways, and so on. This bridgeconstruction project is a very important work in the transportation flow of the people of WestBalikpapan District in particular. This certainly affects the economic growth of the localcommunity. This activity can run well if the existing infrastructure is also in good condition. Inplanning the upper structure of this bridge, an analysis was carried out on the strength of theupper structure of the reinforced concrete bridge against loads based on SNI 1725-2016concerning loading for bridges, and earthquake loads in accordance with SNI 1726-2019 whichregulates earthquake resistance planning procedures for building and non-building structures.After calculations and evaluations were carried out on the backrest pile planning, 4Ø8 bendingreinforcement was used and sliding reinforcement was used Ø8 - 100 mm. In the planning of thebridge floor cantilever plate, with an arm length of 85 cm and a plate thickness of 20 cm, D13 -100 mm reinforcement is used. in the inner plate planning (Inner Slab) headed x-directionbending reinforcement used D29 - 150 mm. Y-direction bending reinforcement is used D29 -150 mm. In girder planning, girder height (h) 80 cm, width (b) 40 cm, T-Girder wingspan (beff)2300 mm, effective height T-Girder 650 mm. Bending reinforcement is used 10D32 withcompressive reinforcement is used 3D32. Shear reinforcement D12-150 mm. Plus shrinkagereinforcement to strengthen the structure, 3D12 is used. On the planning of the diaphragm,dimensions are planned 40 x 40 cm, 6D16 bending reinforcement is used. Given D12-150 mmsliding reinforcement as a fastener.

Abstract

This research discusses the function of qipao and the meaning of the Phoenix symbol on qipao during the Qing Dynasty and Generation Z. Qipao is a traditional Chinese garment often adorned with Phoenix motifs, which are mythological creatures in Chinese culture. In this context, the research explores the evolution of qipao and the use of the Phoenix symbol from the Qing Dynasty to Generation Z, the current young generation. In this study, the author used a qualitative method consisting of literature review and interviews to compare the changes in qipao and the symbolic meaning of the Phoenix in qipao between two different time periods. This analysis includes social, cultural, and historical factors that influence the evolution of the Phoenix's meaning in the design and use of qipao. The results of this research are expected to provide deeper insights into the differences in qipao and the symbolic meaning of the Phoenix motif in qipao.

Abstract

Kebaya is a traditional Indonesian clothing that is popular among women and has been known for a long time by many people in various countries, because it can display elegance when worn, besides that kebaya clothing is also an Indonesian cultural heritage. One of the kebaya known to the public is the Javanese kebaya, then the entry of Chinese culture emerged kebaya encim. This study was conducted to analyze the views of young people in East Surabaya in the comparison of Kebaya Encim and Kebaya Jawa. The comparison was made based on the similarities and differences in Kebaya Encim and Kebaya Javanese according to the views of young people in East Surabaya with questionnaire research methods and interviews, sampling from young people in the East Surabaya area.Based on this research, it can be seen that the views of young people in East Surabaya in comparison are bright colors and the average motif is related to flowers or other motifs that contain elements of Chinese culture and Javanese Kebaya which is worn with kemben and is identical to brocade.

Abstract

This study delves into the use of drug symbols in Harry Styles' songs and explores the meanings attributed to these symbols through the lens of John Fiske's 'Negotiated Readings' theory. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive method to examine how audiences negotiate and interpret drug symbols in Styles' lyrics, focusing on three key themes. First, the analysis reveals that drug symbols are utilized to convey intense emotional pain, drawing parallels to the struggles of addiction in songs such as 'Meet Me In The Hallway'. Second, the study uncovers how drug symbol antidotes symbolize remedies or counteractions, depicting love as a healing force rather than a destructive one in tracks like 'Golden' and 'Daylight'. Lastly, the research highlights how drug symbols are employed to depict struggles and challenges within relationships, evident in songs like 'As It Was' and 'Daylight'. By applying the theory of 'Negotiated Readings' to the analysis of drug symbols in Harry Styles' songs, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of how audiences interpret and engage with symbolic meanings in popular music.

Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of the digital era from time to time is also supported by the presence of increasingly sophisticated technology increasing the mobility of social media use, including in the field of online transportation services. This research aims to examine the influence of social media marketing on electronic word of mouth of Gojek consumers in Surabaya which is mediated by consumer engagement. The research method used is quantitative. The population in this study was the population of Bulak Village, totaling 21,529 residents. Meanwhile, the sample is the population of Bulak Subdistrict, totaling 21,529 residents, who have used Gojek transportation services. The research variables consist of the independent variable: social media marketing (X), the dependent variable: electronic word of mouth (Y) and the mediator variable: consumer engagement (Z). The data analysis technique uses multivariate statistical techniques. The research results show that social media marketing has a significant effect on the electronic word of mouth of Gojek customers in Bulak sub-district in Surabaya City. This proves that the higher the social media marketing, the higher the electronic word of mouth of consumers. Consumer engagement mediates the influence of social media marketing on electronic word of mouth of Gojek customers in Bulak Village in Surabaya City. This proves that the higher the social media marketing, the higher the electronic word of mouth of consumers through consumer engagement.

Abstract

The development and progress of the industry directly, we can see changes in the growth of the business world which has differences in the economic sector every year. This is due to the emergence of goods and services industry companies that never stop producing various kinds of goods or products that are sold to consumers. Meanwhile, in the field of sneakers, Nike products are the main products that are very popular for the quality of their products to customers, especially in the city of Surabaya. This attracted researchers to examine the role of purchasing decisions in Nike's brand relationship and customer loyalty in the city of Surabaya. Meanwhile, the method used in the research is (quantitative) with a total of 30 respondents who are specifically Nike sneakers users. The variables used in this research are, independent variables (X), dependent variables (Y) and intervening variables (Z) while to find out the results of the influence of variables by calculating through Path Analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to explore users' perceptions of the InDriver application, including its strengths and weaknesses, in the context of online transportation competition in Surabaya City. It adopts a qualitative descriptive field research approach. The primary data was gathered through interviews with seven InDriver users in Surabaya, selected using simple random sampling. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing involved editing, classification, and interpretation, followed by descriptive analysis. The research findings indicate two main results. Firstly, users' perceptions of the InDriver application in Surabaya tend to be positive due to its price negotiation feature, driver selection options, and vehicle types, which provide greater flexibility compared to other online transportation services. Users appreciate the cost-effectiveness and additional value of the price negotiation feature. However, shortcomings such as the absence of non-cash payment methods and issues with order cancellations by drivers cause discomfort among users. Secondly, InDriver's primary advantage lies in its price negotiation feature, which allows users to negotiate and select drivers and vehicle types, thereby offering greater flexibility, control, and economic benefits. The ability to choose drivers based on ratings and vehicle types also enhances users' trust. However, there are drawbacks such as the lack of non-cash payment methods, inaccuracies in mapping or navigation, and instances of unfriendly and unprofessional driver behavior. These shortcomings diminish InDriver's competitiveness compared to other online transportation services.

Abstract

The digital era is increasingly developing until now with the presence of very sophisticated technology to improve internet providers, including in the field of goods and services. This research aims to analyze and test the influence of brand image, price perception and service quality on First Media internet purchasing decisions in Surabaya. This research uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 100 First Media internet user respondents in Surabaya. The population in this study was the population of Gading Village, totaling 28,350 residents. Meanwhile, the sample is 100 residents of Gading Village, who already use First Media WiFi internet. The research variables consist of independent variables: brand image (X_1), price perception (X_2), service quality (X_3), and dependent variable: purchasing decision (Y). The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The research results show that brand image, price perception and service quality have a significant influence on purchasing decisions in the Gading sub-district in Surabaya. This proves that the higher the brand image, price perception and quality of service provided, the higher the consumer's purchasing decisions.
