Abstract

Go organic in 2010 is a program launched by the government to produce organic agricultural products. The organic red chili plant is one of the products of the go organic program in 2010 which has high economic value, so it is necessary to increase the red chili plant the productivity. The use of local microorganisms can be used as an alternative in producing organic chili products. This study aims to determine the effect of type and dose of the best local microorganism on the growth and yield of chili. The study used a factorial randomized block design consisting of two factors. The first factor was local microorganisms (P) type consisting of 3 levels: P1(vegetables), P2(tomatoes), and P3(vegetables and tomatoes), the second factor was local microorganisms (D) dose consisting of 5 levels: D0: 0 cc/L of water, D1: 25 cc/L, D2: 50 cc/L, D3: 75 cc/L, D4: 100 cc/L. The results showed that P3D1 is the best treatment in increasing plant height, flowers number and accelerating 80% flowering age. Treatment of MOL P1 type and 25 cc/L dose is the best treatment in increasing the chili plants diameter. P3D4 is the best treatment in increasing the chilies wet weight per plant.

Abstract

War is a part of human history that is full of grief memories. Literature is a written forum for humanity to remember past events such as war which brought many different reactions and results in life. One of the literary works that portrays the concepts of war, grief, and trauma is “Mieko and the Fifth Treasure” written by Eleanor Coerr. This book was the primary data source of this journal. The purpose of this research was to find the changes due to World War II on the main character “Mieko” and the ways of dealing with her changes, by applying the theory of grief proposed by Kübler-Ross and David Kessler. The main results showed that before the war happened, Mieko was a normal girl who had a wonderful life and loved to make calligraphy art. However, after the war happened, Mieko experienced feelings of fear, confusion, abandonment, insecurity, and many other grief reactions, as a result of her injured hand, her movement to the village, and the bullying she got from some of her classmates. However, Mieko’s friendship with Yoshi slowly turned her negative thoughts into positive ones and made her grow more mature than his past personality. This article wrapped up the essence of healing from visible and invisible wounds that can be done through caring and love for others who are experiencing deep problems in life.

Abstract

This study delves into the use of drug symbols in Harry Styles' songs and explores the meanings attributed to these symbols through the lens of John Fiske's 'Negotiated Readings' theory. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive method to examine how audiences negotiate and interpret drug symbols in Styles' lyrics, focusing on three key themes. First, the analysis reveals that drug symbols are utilized to convey intense emotional pain, drawing parallels to the struggles of addiction in songs such as 'Meet Me In The Hallway'. Second, the study uncovers how drug symbol antidotes symbolize remedies or counteractions, depicting love as a healing force rather than a destructive one in tracks like 'Golden' and 'Daylight'. Lastly, the research highlights how drug symbols are employed to depict struggles and challenges within relationships, evident in songs like 'As It Was' and 'Daylight'. By applying the theory of 'Negotiated Readings' to the analysis of drug symbols in Harry Styles' songs, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of how audiences interpret and engage with symbolic meanings in popular music.

Abstract

This study aims at investigating a decision-making process based on Freudian Psychoanalytic theory in Gayle Forman’s If I Stay. This study specifically focuses on the main character, Mia Hall. Based on Freud’s, all human behaviour, including decision-making, is influenced by the interaction of three structures of personality: Id, Ego, and Superego. This study discussed the interrelation of those structures in affecting Mia’s decision-making process. Furthermore, this study also searched for the prominent domination explicated in Mia’s final decision. The writers applied Freudian Psychoanalysis to reveal the main focus of this study. The compelling utterances and narrations from the novel are considered the primary source of data. Then, the data are classified into Id, Ego, and Superego before looking for the interrelation and dominant structure. Besides Psychoanalytic, this study also applied character and characterization theory to help the writers analyse the utterances and behaviour of Mia. The result reveals that, though the Id, Ego, and Superego have their desire, these three structures can balance each other and eventually lead Mia to a decision. It is crucial to learn and investigate the dynamic of the decision-making process encountered by a human.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementation on student satisfaction and loyalty at Bimbingan Belajar X, a leading tutoring center in Indonesia. Despite its established reputation, the institution faces challenges such as low student retention rates and a lack of long-term commitment. Analysis indicates that only 40% of students maintain loyalty, significantly below the desired 75% target. The study identifies a trend where many students enroll primarily for short-term, exam-oriented preparation rather than continuous tutoring. To address these issues, the research emphasizes the importance of strengthening customer relationships through effective CRM strategies. By leveraging modern technology, including e-learning platforms and personalized learning systems like Item Response Theory (IRT), Bimbingan Belajar X can enhance communication, provide tailored learning experiences, and foster stronger connections with students. The findings suggest that improved CRM practices are crucial for increasing student satisfaction and loyalty, which are essential for maintaining a competitive edge in the increasingly competitive education sector. Without innovation and adaptation to evolving market demands, Bimbingan Belajar X risks losing its prominent position in the educational landscape.
