Abstract

This research is to determine the effect of thermal cycling on mechanical properties of such composites. Mechanical properties test in the tensile strength, bending strength and impact strength. Composite materials using HDPE powder as a cosmetic bottle waste cantula matrix and fibers as reinforcement, fiber volume fraction is 40% composed of random. Specimens were made using a hot molding machine. Temperature thermal cycle with a variation of 60 ° C, 70 ° C, 80 ° C, 90 ° C and 100 ° C. Variations in the number of cycles performed 100 times. Testing of mechanical properties of the composite tensile strength using ASTM standard 3039, bending strength ASTM D 6272 standard, and impact strength testing with ASTM D 5941. Results of testing the mechanical properties of composites obtained the data that the composite thermal cycle with a temperature of 60 ° C were carried out as many as 100 times. The tensile strength of 26 MPa, bending strength of 29 MPa and impact strength 45 kJ / m². Composites with a thermal treatment at temperatures above 70 ° C resulted in the degradation of the material so that the mechanical strength decreases.

Abstract

One important process in manufacturing pellet material is a compaction. This research will study the hardness value at ZnO semiconductor material that is compacted with different pressure. The first material is pure ZnO that was grinded with agate mortar, filtered and compacted with pressure are 10 bar, 20 bar and 30 bar so the pellet form were shaped. The size of pellet is Æ 13 x 2 mm. Furthermore, these pellet sintered at temperature 1300oC than it will test by vikers microhardness testing. The testing result is that the greatest vikers microhardness at the material that is compact at 30 bar. The mean value of it is 213.85 Hv. The greater of compacting pressure given the higher value of the material's hardness. Nevertheless, the magnitude of compacting pressure must consider the ability of the compacting mold.

Abstract

Cassava contains hydrocyanic acid (HCN) derived from the hydrolysis process cyanogenic glucoside (linamarin and lotaustralin) by endogenous enzymes that are marked in blue on cassava. Production of cassava chips contained in Donohudan, Surakarta very abundant with a turnover of 10 tons each month so that the production process produces some waste that has no economic value. Wastewater from the washing of cassava chips can be a serious problem if not treated properly. Mechanical installation of pipe filter layer may be one alternative to resolve these problems .. This technique uses a combination of natural adsorbent with terraced flowed into the pipe. The adsorbent used include gravel, sepet (coconut fiber), silica sand, zeolite. The parameters examined in this study is the analysis of the levels of COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) and TSS (Total Solid Suspended) in the wastewater industry cassava chips. Data collection was performed by calculating the COD and TSS levels before and after processing with pipe filter layer. Based on data obtained optimum pH value accordance with the standard of food waste that is 7.89. For COD and TSS, the optimum value changes occurred on respectively of 99.5% and 99.7%. Abstract

The needs industry on composite materials made from natural fibers with a quality that meets the standards is expected. Because of the existing raw materials can not meet the needs of material is strong, lightweight, inexpensive and environmentally friendly.Number Variations of thread, Total Torsion, Structure and Percentage Resin wicker is used as a combination of factor levels. Composite tensile testing refers to the , for bending testing refers to the standard ASTM D 790-97. The statistical testing performed; Normality, homogeneity, Anova, SNR and different test. To simplify ANOVA the writer used Taguchy methode. The results show that the fabric construction, especially the number of torsion and resin concentration effect on tensile strength while the type and concentration of resin wicker affect tensile strength while the optimal value is achieved for Pull strength 1,02 MPa. At the factor level combination Ne1 0.8, Twist 500, Woven with 16 cards and 35% resin concentration.

Abstract

CNC Router machine is a cutting machines based computer that can run the process automatically on a wide variety of materials based commands that have been programmed into the software. CNC Router design aims design and create a CNC Router machine with hardware and software that is easy to use and come in the market. Software used in the operation of the machine is Grbl Controller, while for the microcontroller use of ATMega328 from Arduino Uno R3 board. Supported also by the Arduino Software and X-Loader, as well as making the program (design) using Mastercam Mill 9. The result of design CNC Router machine is used for testing in the manufacture of finished object in the form of a 2D image on paper media, and can be developed for future learning media.

Abstract

In this research, the speech of command for sluice recorded and then the coefficient of signal speech taken using MFCC algorithm. These coefficients becomes features of speech signal and using as input in neural network to be training data. After training, the testing using data test conducted to see how the algorithm of neural network have good working and how the effectiveness of controlling automatic sluice. There is 5 coefficients of the word of “BUKA” (English: “OPEN”) and so is word of “TUTUP” (English: “CLOSE”). That 5 coefficients was taken as features then repeated 15 times to be used as training data in neural network. The total number of command speech is 30. The 20 test data for “BUKA” and 20 for “TUTUP” used to test the system in controlling sluice by speech. After the test we get the result the accuracy for “BUKA” is 75% and 55% for “TUTUP”. Testing with giving command using “OPEN” and “CLOSE” give us the result by there is no stability in output of the value of neural network (y). From the neural network training, the output of training is 1.01325 for “BUKA” and 0.0930902 for “TUTUP”. With using the other word we get the value of y is changeable inconstantly.

Abstract

As one of the bank of perception, BNI Syariah has a duty not only to develop the payment system but also to require submitting a report to the Ministry of Finance. There are two things to be reported, namely the report on H + 0 and report on H + 1. Report on H + 0 consists of DNP Reports (Daftar Nominatif Penerimaan) and LHP (Laporan Harian Penerimaan). Both reports should be submitted in text file format. Report on H + 1 is report of Bank Statement (BS) or Rekening Koran report that contains transaction based on bank systems. This research describes about development MPN G-2 reporting at PT. BNI Syariah by implementing digital signature with RSA algorithm. The result of this research is the application generates the reporting before 09.00 H+1 and not have penalty. For data authentication, this application implement RSA algorithm, so data of rekening koran will be valid.

Abstract

This study will produce a system of text-based information security applications using cryptography algorithms Hill Code and Steganography LSB (Least Significant Bit). System information security applications are built to be used for text-based data security. The algorithms used for cryptography is Hill Code with a matrix of 2 x 2sebagai encryption keys, whereas the description used for the inverse of a matrix initial key. Steganography algorithm used is the LSB (Least Significant Bit) insertion in every bit of content (confidential data) into a low bit or bits of the far right. As known to a bitmap (.bmp) 24 bits consist of three pixels in which each pixel is a collection of 8 bits or 1 byte (a value between 0 to 255atau in binary format between 00000000 to 11111111), who presented the value of the intensity of the light that forms the base color namely red, green or blue (red-green-Blue or RGB). Thus in each pixel can be inserted 3 content. The results of the implementation and testing of the system shows that the system is running well, the implementation of the algorithm results are consistent with the manual calculation.

Abstract

Organic waste from wholesale market can be degraded to biogas by anaerobic digestion. In PLTB, biogas which has main composition of methane is used as fuel for gas engine to generate electricity. Before being used in the gas engine, biogas is purified and condensed to remove impurity gases. Biogas purification process used a high pressure water scrubber while for condensation used a gas engine cooler. The working of cooler is removing saturated water vapour before gas being burned into gas engine. The purpose of this research is analyzing the effect of water content to the working of cooler for removing water vapour in biogas. To analyze the working of cooler, mass flow of water for anaerobic digestion and water for scrubbing process is varied and simulated by the software AspenPlus V 8.6. In this simulation result, water influences to remove the impurity gases including water vapour. When the input of water is greater in feedstream or make up water, cooler removes water vapour is getting smaller because water vapour dissolved in the water is more.
