Abstract

Zakat is an obligation that must be fulfilled by Muslims when their wealth reaches the nisab and haul thresholds. There are several types of zakat, namely zakat mall and zakat fitrah. These zakat funds can be distributed to the needy by zakat distribution institutions. In reality, the zakat distribution mechanism is still carried out manually in some institutions, especially mosques. Mosques should ideally have information systems that can provide information about activities and services, including zakat distribution services. Therefore, a web-based mosque activity information system was developed, equipped with zakat mall calculation and distribution. The system was developed using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP), Laravel framework, and MySQL database, aiming to facilitate zakat distribution institutions in providing information without manual intervention. The information system was tested using data collection techniques involving questionnaires and observations. The research stages include needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The questionnaire testing results, conducted with a total of 30 respondents through a presentation followed by questionnaire filling via Google Form, showed that 90% of the system could meet user needs

Abstract

Video is a combination of multimedia elements that can display visuals, audio and text at one time. This research aims to create an Augmented Reality-based coffee planting brochure design using markers to produce educational videos that present realistic visualizations and can help provide supporting information that is easy to absorb and understand. The method used in making this learning media is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle with six stages, namely conceptualizing, designing, collecting material, assembling, testing, distributing. The application of augmented reality-based videos aims to increase the impression of learning the process of planting and processing coffee by presenting realistic visuals. For this reason, making a learning brochure on the process of planting and processing coffee based on augmented reality produces markers that can be read in lighting of 10 lux and above, markers in wet conditions, markers in crushed conditions, markers in scratched conditions, a maximum height of 90 cm, and different from smartphones. Problems with markers that cannot be read include torn markers, lighting below 10 lux, and a height of more than 90 cm.

Abstract

The move to Indonesia's capital city received different responses from the public, pros and cons. This has an influence on the development of the capital itself. The impact of the move will be felt by the community, especially the people of the Kalimantan area or private developers who want to invest. This research will discuss the classification of public opinions regarding the transfer of the capital which are categorized into 3 categories, namely neutral, negative and positive. The aim of this research is to obtain the results of sentiment analysis or public responses to the move of the nation's capital. The benefit for the government or development is as input regarding the direction of development, the economy and policies regarding the development of the nation's capital city. Data collection was obtained from Twitter using scrapping techniques. The sentiment analysis stage is carried out by preprocessing first, namely by labeling and grouping. At the analysis stage, the Multinomial Naïve Bayes algorithm was used. This method was chosen as an analysis method because this method is able to measure the frequency of occurrence of words in documents more effectively. The classification results obtained from the 1049 data used were that 25.54% stated that public sentiment was neutral, 35.08% stated that public sentiment was negative, and 39.37% stated that public sentiment was positive. The accuracy rate was also obtained at 92.67%.

Abstract

Grouping animals based on their morphological characteristics is crucial for understanding biodiversity and evolutionary relationships among species. This study aims to apply the K-Means Clustering algorithm to group animals based on their morphological characteristics and evaluate its performance. A secondary dataset from Kaggle containing 101 animals with 18 morphological attributes was used. Data preprocessing techniques such as handling missing data, removing irrelevant columns, and data normalization were performed. The optimal number of clusters was determined using the Davies-Bouldin Index and Silhouette Score, which resulted in 5 clusters as the best number. The K-Means algorithm successfully grouped the data into 5 clusters: flying animals with feathers, aquatic animals with fins, terrestrial mammals with hair and milk production, animals with many legs such as reptiles and insects, and terrestrial predators. Visualization of the clustering results using 3D scatter plots provided a clear visual representation. Interpretation of the results revealed patterns and evolutionary relationships between different groups of animals based on their morphological characteristics. This research contributes to the understanding of biodiversity, ecology, evolution, and conservation through morphology-based clustering, and demonstrates the effectiveness of the K-Means algorithm in this task.

Abstract

With the advancement of information technology, websites have become essential platforms for disseminating information and advertising products and services online. A website is considered good when it strikes a balance between visual appeal and usability. However, the graphics on the Pinus Banyuwangi website still appear rigid and monotonous, and the information is poorly organized, leading users to struggle in understanding the services offered. To ensure users can truly experience Pinus Banyuwangi and its services, the website's interface and user experience need to be redesigned, taking into account user experience through the Human-Centered Design approach, which involves four stages Observation, Idea Generation, Prototype, and Testing. The research indicates significant user concerns regarding the UI and UX of the Pinus Banyuwangi website. Through questionnaires and final testing using a system usability scale method involving 30 Banyuwangi Pines visitors, the obtained score of 79.2 corresponds to a B value indicator, signifying an acceptable level of usability. This demonstrates an improvement in usability compared to the initial testing score of 32, which fell under the "F Unacceptable“ category. The research results culminate in the creation of a UI/UX prototype for the Pinus Banyuwangi website, aiming to be user-friendly and tailored to user needs.

Abstract

Technological advances in the modern era have facilitated various aspects of life, including health. Puskesmas Tanjung Ria in Jayapura, Papua, Indonesia, serves about 100 patients daily from 07:30 to 14:30. One of its main services is the diagnosis of skin diseases in children, which can be caused by genetic factors, environment, stress and parasitic infections. Research shows that there are about 20 to 30 pediatric patients with skin diseases every week. Often the treatment of skin diseases is delayed due to public understanding at the Tanjung Ria Health Center, diagnosis is carried out by a team consisting of 1 doctor and 1 assistant with a symptom-based approach. However, the main obstacles are hectic work schedules and limited resources. Available pediatricians may not have enough experience in dermatology, which can lead to suboptimal treatment. To reduce uncertainty in medical diagnosis and improve the diagnosis of skin diseases in children, the Certainty Factor (CF) method is applied in the expert system. This study proposes the development of a web-based system that uses certainty factor methods for early symptoms of skin diseases in children, in order to prevent delays in treatment. System development uses the waterfall method, which includes needs analysis, design, coding and testing with the blackbox method.

Abstract

In today's digital era, information systems play a crucial role in operational efficiency and effectiveness, particularly in decision-making processes. This research focuses on the use of the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method for selecting Temporary Daily Workers (THL) teachers at SDN XYZ. The study utilizes data collected through observations and interviews with five THL teacher candidates, who were evaluated based on criteria including educational background, proximity of residence, interview performance, and personality. The weights of each criterion were determined based on their relevance to the desired position. The results indicate that the TOPSIS method is effective in helping the school identify relevant criteria and evaluate the relative performance of candidates based on the established criteria, thereby facilitating the decision-making process and improving the quality of education at SDN XYZ. Based on the analysis using the TOPSIS method, the THL teacher with the alternative code A had the best relative performance and met the established criteria, making them the recommended choice for the best THL teacher to be hired at SDN XYZ. These findings demonstrate that the application of the TOPSIS method can enhance objectivity and accuracy in the employee selection process.
