COMPETITIVE: Journal of Education is a peer-reviewed journal published by Perkumpulan Dosen Fakultas Agama Islam Indramayu. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problems and challenges of education quality in Indonesia from a multidimensional perspective encompassing teachers and educational staff, curriculum and technology, and student well-being. The method employed is a systematic literature review of SINTA-accredited journal articles and reference books, retrieved through Google Scholar, GARUDA, and the SINTA Portal. The findings indicate that excessive administrative burdens, low teacher welfare, insufficient digital competence, and high teacher turnover in remote areas are core problems in the teaching force dimension; curriculum irrelevance to the labor market, artificial intelligence disruption, and multilayered digital divide are key barriers in the curriculum and technology dimension; while mental health crises, rote-learning culture, and limited inclusivity undermine learning quality from the student perspective. This study concludes that improving education quality requires systemic and integrative policy reform involving all national education stakeholders.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of entrepreneurship in the private educational sector of LashkarGah city on the economic development of Helmand Province. The significance of this study lies in the fact that the growing trend of the private educational sector plays a fundamental role not only in the development of education and training but also in job creation, increasing family incomes, and overall enhancing the GDP of countries. Afghanistan, as a developing country, has a pressing need for scientific and socio-economic activities, and the private educational sector can play a significant role in this regard. To achieve the objectives of this study, a stratified random sampling method was employed, and the necessary information collected from academic, nonacademic staff and some students of private universities, institutes, and schools in LashkarGah city. The results of this research, clearly discussed here, remarkably demonstrate the economic and social impact of the private educational sector in LashkarGah City and overall Helmand Province and across the country. Based on the findings of this study, several recommendations have been drown regarding potential solutions that may assist in understanding the various dimensions of the relationship between the private educational sector and economic growth in.
