Abstract

School is an educational institution that conducts learning for students. A good strategy needs to be pursued so that the school is attractive to parents so that new students at the school will increase. Persuasive communication is certainly one of the techniques in increasing the interest and trust of students and parents to enroll in the school. With the persuasive communication is expected to provide positive information to others. Persuasive communication is communication that affects the audience or communicant, so that they act in accordance with what the communicator expects. This study aims to find out how the effectiveness of persuasive communication built by teachers in increasing the trust of parents of students, as well as knowing how parents believe in persuasive communication carried out by the school. This study uses a qualitative method by conducting documentation, observation and interviews. The results of the study indicate that persuasive communication built by teachers is very influential in creating effective communication in increasing trust in students. Based on information from interviews with teachers and school principals, the researchers concluded that the effectiveness of teachers' persuasive communication in increasing parental confidence in MTs Syamsul ulum runs effectively in accordance with theories and information from interviews with parents. In building trust with parents, teachers of MTs Syamsul Ulum made visits to several elementary schools/madrasah Ibtidaiyah and Islamic boarding schools by distributing brochures, pamphlets and letters as well as promoting excellent programs owned by the school so that parents believe in sending their children to MTs Syamsul Ulum. Abstract

Coronaviruses are a group of viruses that can cause disease in animals or humans. A new type of coronavirus that was discovered to cause the disease Covid-19. Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered type of coronavirus. the covid-19 virus was first discovered in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and is now a pandemic that is happening in many countries around the world. Which resulted in all activities being hampered especially in the world of education. Impact on education the government has temporarily closed all educational installations, across the country to limit the spread of the coronavirus and as of March 14, 2020, around 420 million children were out of school. More than 13 countries have temporarily closed all their schools. Likewise in Indonesia, in responding to the Covid-19 outbreak, the Indonesian government enforces the principle of social distancing at all levels of society. This researchuses a descriptive approach. Descriptive research (descriptive research) is research that is directed to provide symptoms, facts or events systematically and accurately, regarding the characteristics of a particular population or area with the type of field qualitative research (Field Research), namely research that requires Researchers go to the field to make observations about all phenomena in a state of nature. The role of PAI teachers in improving student learning achievement during the COVID-19 pandemic is very important, especially teachers are required to learn creatively and innovatively in creating learning during this COVID-19 pandemic. The conclusion of this study is that the role of teachers and the role of students is very important in seeking to improve student learning achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic. Teachers must try their best so that the learning they create makes students comfortable and understands and for students they should continue to improve their learning in order to get good learning outcomes, always motivate themselves to always enjoy learning at all times.  Keyword: The Role of Teachers, Education, Covid 19 Pandemic

Abstract

The background of the problem in this study is the formulation of the problem, namely what motivates parents to continue their children's education at the madinatul munawwarah Islamic boarding school, what are the factors that encourage parents to continue their child's education at the madinatul munawwarah Islamic boarding school and what obstacles are faced by parents in continue their child's education. Therefore, researchers are interested in examining what motivates parents in Jorong Sigiran to continue their children's education at the Madinatul Munawwarah Islamic Boarding School. This type of research is descriptive qualitative that is describing what it is about a situation. In this study, the authors describe the motivation of parents in Jorong Sigiran Nagari Malalak Utara to continue their children's education at the Madinatul Munawwarah Islamic Boarding School. The data collection instruments used were observation, and interviews. Sources of required data obtained from informants, namely parents. The results of the study found that the motivation of parents in Jorong Sigiran Nagari North Malalak to continue their children's education at the Madinatul Munawwarah Islamic boarding school is so that children know more about religious knowledge, to become pious and pious children, to form noble character in children, to avoid environmental influences that not good, improve life. Efforts made by parents in continuing their children's education to the Madinatul Munawwarah Islamic Boarding School are motivating children, giving advice, giving punishment, educating, and giving examples. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability to read the Qur'an of students who are taught by cleric Chelsea at TPQ Al-Kautsar such as students who are not fluent in reading the Qur'an, the difficulty of implementing the science of recitation according to applicable rules and, the difficulty recite makhorijul letters. This study aims to determine how the ability to read the Qur'an of students at TPQ Al-Kautsar, Batang Bungo Village, Jambi Province and what factors affect the ability to read the Qur'an of students at TPQ Al-Kautsar, Batang Bungo Village. , Jambi Province. This research is a field research (filed research) using a qualitative descriptive approach. Collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. To get valid data, the writer conducted interviews with key informants and supporting informants, then the writer analyzed the data using descriptive analytic. The results showed that the ability to read the Qur'an of students at TPQ Al-Kautsar who was taught by Ustadz Chelsea was found. Ten of the fourteen students taught by Ustadz Chelsea already had the ability to read the Koran according to the rules. What applies, the rest there are still those who do not have fluency in reading the Qur'an, there are those who have memorized the knowledge of recitation given by the ustadzah but still have difficulties in implementing it and there are also those who still have difficulty in reciting certain letters. Factors that affect the ability to read the Qur'an of students who are taught by cleric Chelsea at TPQ Al-Kautsar are caused by several factors, including physiological factors or physical health factors, psychological factors such as student intelligence and student interests and motivations, social environmental factors of students, factors of facilities and infrastructure that support learning activities and learning methods used by educators that are adjusted to the circumstances of students. Abstract

This study discusses the problem of maintaining the Kaili Ledo dialect in Tinggede village, Marawola district. This research is a qualitative research . The type of data used is data in the form of numbers calculated using statistical methods or the average formula and described in the form of words. Collecting data using observation techniques, questionnaires, and documentation. The instrument in this research is a questionnaire. Presentation of data, and drawing conclusions based on the results of research on maintaining the Ledo dialect language in the village of Tinggede are 1) The maintenance of the Ledo dialect kaili language in the family realm can be categorized as still strong and does not shift with a percentage of 40% which can be said to be stable and not displaced is said to be shifted in the anggaka. 30% percentage. 2) The maintenance of the Ledo dialect kaili language in the neighboring realm is categorized as still surviving with a percentage of 77.5% or above 50%, 3) The maintenance of the Ledo dialect kaili language in the public domain is categorized as still strong and does not shift with a total percentage of 48.33% or still above 40%. Abstract

Socio-cultural influences in this era bring various changes, one of which is a change in the function of a family. The number of working women has increased from the previous year, so childcare is something that needs to be considered, especially for mothers who are also breadwinners. Child care is an alternative in nurturing, caring for, protecting, and guiding children, especially child services entering the golden age. The method used in this study is a literature review which discusses sub-chapters with the theme of the new role of a school in Stenberg's book. The results of the review show that child care centers in influencing their development and growth depend on the quality of care, the programs carried out, and adequate infrastructure. Daycare can be a solution for busy working parents. In addition, daycare centers are also prepared to develop their potential so that children will be ready to enter the next stage of education. Because in preparation for the next stage of education, it is not only in the academic field but also in the social, emotional, and behavioral fields of children. Child care is a facility that is rich in stimulus and can optimize children's growth and development if there are several factors that play a role, such as knowledge of caregivers about child development, ratio of children to caregivers, and understanding of learning theory. Understanding the growth and development of children can help caregivers provide the right stimulus for the child. Then the ratio between children and caregivers, understanding of learning theory can also help optimize children's growth and development. So that parents do not need to worry or even worry about the process of child development if they leave it in a quality daycare center. Keywords: Child care, parents, child development.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that students often have difficulty in learning to read the Qur'an. This has an impact on the decline in students' learning motivation towards their ability to read the Qur'an. Therefore, it is necessary to have a special strategy from the teacher to increase the learning motivation of students in learning to read the Qur'an. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The research location is located at the TPA Nurul Iman Air Putih Jorong IV Koto. The data that the researchers got from the Al-Qur'an teacher (who teaches students to read the Qur'an) and students. The method used is observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study revealed: (1) The strategy of the Al-Qur'an teacher through an individual approach, namely the teacher took an individual approach by approaching students one by one. The teacher must recognize the character of each individual, because each individual has different characters and abilities, the teacher must be able to present it in a language that is understood by students. (2) The strategy of the Al-Qur'an teacher through the provision of sanctions, namely punishment is only in the form of bluffing to make students deterrent and not feel that they are being punished. Teachers are very careful in giving punishment, usually by telling students to memorize. However, if students are not deterred, they will be given the same punishment again. 3) The strategy of the Al-Qur'an teacher through providing guidance is by taking an individual approach first to find out and explore the character of students, the personality of students, and the problems that students complain about. Abstract

This writing is motivated by the declining learning achievement of students at MAN 4 Agam due to the laziness of students to read, write, understand, and communicate the knowledge they have learned, which causes students' grades to decline. Because the development of the era of students more and more misuse the internet. It would be nice to use the internet for learning such as reading, listening or watching shows that contain education. So to overcome this and revive reading culture, the government made regulation No.23 of 2015, the Ministry of Culture and Education requires reading books 15 minutes before learning. Also known as the School Literacy Movement. For this reason, the author tries to describe the School Literacy Movement at MAN 4 Agam in increasing learning achievement of Islamic Cultural History. The type of research that the researcher uses in this research is Field Research. While the research method that the author uses is descriptive qualitative, namely research that describes the data as it is in the field. In this study, the author describes the implementation of the School Literacy Movement at MAN 4 Agam. The data collection method was taken from observation, documentation and interviews with key informants and supporting informants. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the Literacy Movement is very effective in improving the ability to read, write, understand and communicate again. Which will later improve student learning achievement itself. As in the research of researchers, namely the learning of Islamic Cultural History which makes learning outcomes satisfying. There are three stages of the School Literacy Movement activity, namely the habituation stage, the development stage and the literacy stage in learning. The MAN 4 religious school itself has carried out these three stages and is still running at the literacy stage in learning. Abstract

The government is taking steps in dealing with the threat from the Pandemic to save the nation's children. One of the steps taken is in the field of education by implementing online lectures for students in every university. Online learning activities and working from home for educators are changes that must be made by lecturers to continue teaching students. Distance education has the aim of improving the quality of education and the relevance of education as well as increasing equitable access and expansion of education. Distance education that is held with good quality assurance and in accordance with the needs of stakeholders is one of the mechanisms for expanding access to higher education. This study aims to determine the impact of student online lectures on the MSME community in Medan City (object of research for Micro and Small Entrepreneurs in East Medan District). Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that online learning applied to students must be carried out alternately by providing time lapses or changing times, meaning that online lectures are carried out by inserting face-to-face lectures, for example the first week face-to-face then the second week of lectures again online and and so on for the following week by always implementing health protocols and maintaining distance and dividing face-to-face time for 2 meetings each class in turn. The presence of campus students, although not entirely every week, will bring changes to the community of MSME actors who work around campus and depend on students as consumers who can mainly help their income, which during the Post-Pandemic period and PKKM greatly decreased, it will increase even though it is not optimal. With this change, the MSME community around the campus can maintain their business and avoid their business from experiencing a situation that is in danger of closing. Abstract

This research departs from the phenomenon experienced by fourth graders in Jorong Lareh Nan Panjang Nagari Atar, Padang Ganting District, where there are several children who have learning difficulties. Learning difficulties are learning inaccuracies caused by the possibility of brain dysfunction, difficulties in academic tasks, low learning achievement far below intelligence certainty, other causes such as blindness, emotional disturbances, sensory barriers, learning inaccuracies, or cultural poverty. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, children study at home online (on a network), this is in accordance with government regulations through the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, implementing a policy of studying and working at home starting in mid-March 2020. Problems found, such as lack of quota to learn online, do not understand the explanation through online learning, children's learning motivation is low, it is difficult to find a network for online learning, the lack of attention given by parents. This research belongs to descriptive qualitative research, namely research methods that aim to describe in full and in depth about social reality and various phenomena that occur in the community that are the subject of research so that character traits, traits, and models are depicted with these phenomena. Data were collected using interviews and documentation. In carrying out purpose sampling interviews, namely sampling techniques with certain considerations. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that children had difficulty learning PAI online during the Covid-19 Pandemic, as seen from the author's direct interview in Jorong Lareh Nan Panjang. That During the Pandemic, children had learning difficulties, were not enthusiastic in learning, were not comfortable studying at home, lacked quota, sore eyes because they looked at their cellphones for too long, lack of parental attention, difficult networks, insufficient study materials, noisy home conditions. So it can be concluded that children really have difficulty learning in PAI subjects online during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Jorong Lareh Nan Panjang Nagari Atar, Padang Ganting District.
