[Ocean in the Qur'an: Interpretation Study of Ar-Rahman verses 19-20] Indonesia is an archipelagic country with a traffic lane that connects the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. The sea is a natural wealth with various phenomena and biota in it. There are various signs in the verses of the Qur'an about natural phenomena that occur in the world, one of which is the phenomenon of the meeting of two seawaters but they do not mixing each other. This phenomenon deserves to be researched because of the rarity of studying discussions regarding this in the community. So this study aims to provide knowledge to the public regarding natural phenomena in the Qur'an. This study uses a descriptive method by collecting various references from the marine sector and interpretive studies about natural phenomena in the Qur'an. The discovery of the phenomenon of two sea waters that do not mix with each other proves the truth of the word of Allah SWT. Hopefully, this research will provide readers with an understanding of this phenomenon and this research study of commentary will become one of the evidences of the truth of the Qur'an and have an impact on science, especially in the marine sector.

Fazlur Rahman is a man who has various thoughts related to the issue of the Qur'an and Hadith, Rahman's presence in the list of names of Islamic thinkers brings something new to the renewal of Islam. Appear as a brilliant figure in formulating the method of interpretation of the Koran. Fazlur Rahman provides a more convincing method of interpretation, which lies in the use of philosophy, social sciences and humanities. The conceptual framework that Rahman built is often called the double movement hermeneutics. This is because in the process it involves a double movement, namely from the problem of the present situation to the time the Koran was revealed and from the time of the Koran back to the present problem. In this method the emphasis is on the basic ideas of the Koran or its moral ideals compared to the specific legal. Another term in the meaning that Fazlur Rahman puts forward the content of the universal meaning rather than the literal-particular meaning. The method formulated by Rahman finally not only contributed to the development of the Qur'anic interpretation method, but also influenced the ijtihad process in the context of answering the social-religious problems of the present era.

This study aims to examine the story of Ratu Saba in terms of plot, setting, characters, even the narrative style of the story of Ratu Saba contained in the Al-Qur'an An-Naml from verses 20 to 44. literary criticism through heuristic and retroactive reading so that the implicit meaning behind the story of Ratu Saba can be found, especially regarding women's leadership in the Qur'an. The study was studied using a qualitative content analysis research method with a stylistic approach and literary criticism as part of Stylistics. As for data collection, using library research. The writer traces and collects related verses, then analyzes the form of language contained in the verse. The problems that arise in this research are born from the problematic portrait of women's political leadership which is still considered taboo by some people, but in fact access to take part politically for women is wide open. The results of this study indicate that the results of a review of the elements of balaghah science in this story contain elements of bayan, badi and ma'ani. In addition, after carrying out literary criticism through semantic analysis, it can be concluded that the story of the Queen of Saba contained in Surat An-Naml verses 20-44 contains wisdom that there is equality (egality) between men and women in terms of leadership and faith in Allah SWT. . In addition, this story has quite high literary value, so that its form and content can be analyzed based on the rules that are usually owned by a literary work, moreover this story is contained in Holy Qur’an.

In Qur’an several verses describe Satan as a human enemy with negative traits. In traditional commentaries, Satan is described as a jinn or even human-type entity. However, an innovative view came from Muhammad Abduh. He interpreted jinn and satan uniquely, relating them to microbes or microorganisms visible through a microscope. This study aims to explore the views of Muhammad Abduh and Rashid Ridha in tafsir Al-Manar regarding the verses of Satan. The research also reveals a comparison of their interpretation methods in linking Satan with the concept of microbes. This variation in interpretation can be understood through personal background, education, teacher influence, and the social, political and cultural context during their lifetime. The research method used is literature and content analysis. Data from various literatures are used for descriptive analysis and logical interpretation. The results of the analysis show two views in Al-Manar's interpretation of the verse on jinn and Satan. The first view, in line with the predecessor's interpretation, considers Satan as an evil jinn that is invisible because of its kind. Muhammad Abduh's view gives a new dimension, maintaining the concept of Satan as a jinn and adding it as a microbe that causes disease. Both interpretations use the bil ra'yi argumentation method with a comparative style and use a scientific approach.

Azkia Falsa Annaba. THE CONNECTION BETWEEN INTERPRETATION AND LOCAL CULTURE: The Meaning of Jihad Verses in the Sundanese Interpretation of “Ayat Suci Lenyepaneun” in an Effort to Religious Moderation. This bachelor thesis analyzes the relationship between interpretation and local culture in the context of Islam, especially regarding the interpretation of jihad verses in texts "Ayat Suci Lenyepaneun" among the Sundanese people. The main purpose of this thesis is to understand how local interpretations influence the understanding of the meaning of jihad verses and their impact on efforts to create religious moderation. The importance of understanding the relationship between interpretation and local culture in understanding religious teachings. This is relevant because cultural diversity and social context can affect a person's understanding of the holy text, especially in the case of jihad verses that can often be misinterpreted. The local cultural theory of Muntaj Tsaqofy Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd and the Theory of Interpretation of Double Movement by Fazlur Rahman became the basis for analysis in examining how Sundanese people understand and apply jihad verses in texts "Ayat Suci Lenyepaneun". Concepts such as local cultural recklessness influence how interpreters interpret things and Qur'anic interpretive approaches seeing the current context to the context of verses handed down and contextualized to the present times are important in understanding the interaction between religious and cultural interpretations. Research is conducted through in-depth analysis of the text "Ayat Suci Lenyepaneun" which focuses on the verses of jihad in Hasim's interpretation in his tafsir. Then discussed with a religious moderation approach from the various meanings of the jihad verse with a Sundanese flavor approach. The results of the analysis show that the Sundanese Interpretation has a unique interpretation of jihadist verses based on their local culture. This understanding tends to emphasize spiritual aspects and peaceful values, reflecting their efforts in promoting religious moderation and away from interpretations that encourage conflict. By understanding how the interpretation of jihadi verses is influenced by local culture, religious and community leaders can develop a more inclusive and culture-based approach to teaching religious teachings that promote tolerance, peace, and inter-religious cooperation. This bachelor thesis provides new insights into the relationship between interpretation and local culture in the context of Islam among Sundanese people. By exploring the meanings of jihad in Lenyepaneun's interpretation of the Holy Scriptures, this thesis contributes to the discussion of efforts to achieve more sustainable and inclusive religious moderation in a multicultural society.
