Abstract

Abstract: Pure experimental research in the UM Metro Physics Education study program is very minimal, therefore the role of the Physics Education Laboratory is needed in helping students or lecturers.The goal of this study to exsplore the role and constraints of the Laboratory of Physics Education of Muhammadiyah University of Metro for conducting research. This is a qualitative descriptive research, using interview, observation and questionnaire method. The sources of data are laboratory users, laboratory managers, and laboratory assistants. The analysis of data using qualitative by doing source triangulation and method triangulation. The result found that (1) Laboratory of Physic Education was 78% with good role playing categorie, its role is to provide laboratory facilities, measuring instruments and tools and materials.(2) Constraints faced are in physical facilities 23.68% with little constraint. The recomendation of this reseach,(1) Laboratory of Physic Education of Muhammadiyah University Of Metro to improve laboratory facilities even better. (2) Researchers can use Laboratory of Physic Education of Muhammadiyah University Of Metro to conduct research. (3) Schools can make laboratory of physics education of Muhammadiyah University Of Metro as models of research laboratories in schools.Keywords: The role, physics education laboratory

Abstract

Abstract: The result of prasurvey that has been done on the UPTD SMP Negeri 7 Metro obtained a good learning conditions. However, students learning activities are still classified as low. Therefore, there needs to be an improvement in the learning process by using the Children Learning In Science learning model based on Lesson Study to enhance the learning activities of students. Several stages of CLIS learning model include orientation, rendering the notion, the idea of reorganization, implementation of the idea, and the establishment of the idea. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which cycle with the stage plan (planning), do (execution) and see (reflection). The subjects of this study were students of UPTD SMP Negeri 7 Metro class VIII.E which amounted to 27 students. Data collection instruments used were observation sheet of students learning activities and field note. The results showed that the implementation of the Chikdren Learning In Science (CLIS) model based on Lesson Study was able to improve the learning activities of students with indicators of achievement of learning activities including paying attention to the explanation or affirmation of the material by the teacher, preparing tools, arranging tools, doing group assignments, discussing with group, answer, respond or ask questions and work on questions. The percentage of increased learning activities in cycle 1 was 60.98% in cycle 2 of 83.49%. Abstract

ABSTRACT: The lack of student learning activities has an effect on the low learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of sharing task and jumping task to learning result and advantages and disadvantages of sharing task and jumping task. The sample in this study X IPA.4 experimental class and X IPA.1 control class. Quasi experimental research method with posttest-only control design. Analysis of quantitative data using two difference test of average at 5% significance level obtained tcount (1,6999)> ttabel (1,682). The use of sharing task and jumping task has an effect on student learning outcomes. Abstract

Abstract: The results of the presurvey in class X MIA 2 of SMAN 1 Trimurjo, that there are 71% of students with the ability to understand the concept are in low and very low criteria. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the learning process by using the ARIAS learning model. This ARIAS learning model includes the stages of Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assassment and Satisfaction. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which cycles with the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The research subjects were students of class X MIA 2 of SMAN 1 Trimurjo with a total of 35 students. Data collection instruments use observation sheets and test questions. The results showed that, the application of the ARIAS learning model was able to improve the achievement of indicators of understanding concepts including translating, explaining, and expanding. the percentage of students who are in the criteria is very good and good reaching 83%, with an increase of 54% from the initial data of prasurveyKeywords: ARIAS learning model and conceptual understanding

Abstract

Abstract: The problem of undisciplined use of time can affect a person's success. A student is required to be disciplined, especially time discipline. The discipline of a student's time in school is usually marked and regulated by the school bell. The ringing of the bell in most schools still uses manual, so sometimes errors still occur, such as late ringing it. Then an automatic school bell was made that is integrated with electronic components to increase interest in helping students be disciplined. An automatic school bell is a tool that combines Arduino Uno with several other components so that the tool can sound automatically. The automatic school bell can also be used as a learning resource for physics. Developing this automatic school bell is a source of learning physics in electromagnetic wave material and digital technology and can help improve student discipline. This research method uses the (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. Research data was obtained from the results of expert validation and user responses. The validation results by two experts on media aspects obtained an average percentage of 96.25% with the criteria of "Very Eligible," and the results of validation by three experts on material aspects obtained a percentage of 91.03% with the criteria of "Very Eligible." then the results of the practicality of using the school bell automatically get an average percentage of 91.2% with the "Very Practical" CriteriaKeywords: Development, automatic school bell, Physics Learning Resources

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the design of web-based e-module applications in physics learning, the feasibility level of web-based e-module applications in physics learning, and the effectiveness of web-based e-module applications in increasing students' learning motivation. This development uses the ADDIE development model. This research was conducted at SMA NEGERI 5 METRO in April 2022. The data collection instrument used in the research on the development of this web-based e-module was in the form of an expert validation questionnaire and a student response questionnaire as the effectiveness of the web-based e-module media application Data analysis techniques used in this study is an analytical technique related to the purpose of this research, so that data analysis is carried out on media design, media feasibility and the level of media effectiveness on students' learning motivation, so that researchers can easily understand the data and draw conclusions. Based on the results of the e-module feasibility test of material and media experts, through expert validation and student response trials, an average percentage value of 82.45% was obtained in the very feasible category. Based on data from learning motivation, an average value of 82.16% was obtained so that in measuring student motivation using web-based e-modules this application was successful.Keywords: E-Module, Google Sites, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of the water monitor tool product, to determine the effectiveness of the product developed as a learning resource for students of SMK Negeri 2 Metro, to determine the user's response to the product developed. The development of this product can make it easier for fish farmers to monitor the pH and temperature of pond water and as a teacher learning supplement in practical activities at school. The product developed is a water monitor which is used to make it easier to monitor the pH and temperature of the water so that the fish care process becomes better and easier. The system for monitoring the pH and temperature of pool water is expected to be a system that can monitor the pH and temperature of the water and can condition it into the specified parameters. This research method uses the R&D (Research and development) method and uses the ADDIE model. Data collection instruments using data triangulation methods include three instruments, namely observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data triangulation method is used by researchers to make it easier to draw conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis of the three instruments that have been triangulated, it proves that the results of the responses of teachers, students, and the community produce an average response of 84.97% and are in the very good category.Keywords: Cultivation, Practice, pH and temperature.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the effect of using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on increasing student interest and learning outcomes, knowing student responses to the process of learning activities using the PjBL model, and knowing the high percentage of student learning outcomes obtained from using the PjBL model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), carried out in two cycles with four stages. The stages in question are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIA 1 SMAN 1 Purbolinggo in the 2021-2022 academic year. The data analysis technique used is effect size analysis, student response analysis, and analysis of student learning outcomes. The results of the study include: the use of the PjBL model affects increasing student interest in learning with a known effect size of 0.2298 in cycle 1 and 0.439 in cycle 2, and the use of the PjBL model affects improving student learning outcomes with a known effect size of 0.499 in cycle 1 and 0.71 in cycle 2, students like the process of learning activities using the PjBL model, the high percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes from using the PjBL model is 67.6% with 23 students completing cycle 1 and 87% with 28 students completing cycle 2 . Suggestions for similar research to be carried out include: it is necessary to research on improving aspects of interest and other learning outcomes using different subject matter. It can be done using two different classes to determine the effect of implementing the PjBL model so that differences or comparisons can be known.Keywords: Interest in Learning, Learning outcomes, Project Based Learning (PjBL) model.

Abstract

Abstract: The product developed is a video learning media using a powtoon application on transistor characteristics. The development of this learning media is needed to assist teaching and learning activities during the pandemic, both online and offline learning. Online learning or non-face-to-face learning requires learning media that are easy to access and use. The purpose of research and development of this learning media is to produce a product in the form of ICT-based audiovisual learning media, namely video learning media using a powtoon application on transistor characteristics.This type of research uses the ADDIE development method. This method consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The instrument used is an assessment questionnaire. There are two methods used: the first is an expert validation questionnaire with 2 assessments (material and media), this validation is used to assess the feasibility of the media, and the second is a student response questionnaire to assess the user's response to the developed media.Based on the results of the validation with the results of the percentage value of the feasibility of the tool, namely 93.35% for media experts with very feasible criteria, 92.7% for material expert validation with very feasible criteria and 75.78% for student responses with appropriate criteria. From the results of these data obtained an average percentage of 87.28% with proper criteria. Based on the exposure of the results of the product feasibility test and the practicality of the product, it can be concluded that the video learning media using the Powtoon application on transistor characteristics, teaching materials for integers and fractions with Islamic values is very feasible and practical to use for learning.Keywords: learning media; powderoon; transition; development

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to determine the stability of temperature and humidity between fish ponds in the lowlands and highlands. This study aims to investigate (1) the effect of sea level in a specific area towards the stability of temperature and humidity of freshwater fish ponds. (2) the relationship between sea level and temperature as well as humidity of fish ponds. The research results from the effect of sea level (asl) on the stability of temperature and humidity of freshwater fish ponds is composed in the form of book for learning resources. This type of research as experimental research and this study used two ponds for data collection, namely ponds in the lowlands and highlands. The tools used in this research were thermometer, hygrometer and altimeter. Research in the lowlands in the village of Pekalongan, Pekalongan Regency is 50 meters above sea level and the highlands in the village of Alert, Sekincau Regency is 1,142 meters above sea level. The result of the stability of the lowland fish pond temperature was between 27.1–33.0ºC, the highland fish pond temperature was between 21.6–25.9ºC. The stability of the lowlands fish pond humidity was between 38–87%, the highland fish pond humidity is 21-84%. The Differences in temperature and humidity stability occur in fish ponds in the lowlands and fish ponds in the highlands, therefore the temperature and humidity of lowland fish ponds are more ideal than highland fish ponds. The movement of fish in lowland ponds is quite fast and often moves. The movement of fish in upland ponds is slow and fish often rise to the surface of the water in search of oxygen.Keywords : Lowlands Fishpond, Highland Fishpond, Temperature, Humidity
