Abstract

Treatment of brain remains an urgent problem in the health system in Ukraine, due to the wide prevalence of the most common as a result of this disease causes cerebrovascular diseases, including atherosclerosis and hypertension, leading to a narrowing of the blood vessels of the brain and decreased cerebral blood flow. An alternative method of treatment of cerebrovascular diseases (CVD) it is expected pharmacological effect, which is achieved through use in medicines herbal drug that exhibits antyarytmichal, sedative, tranquilizing, antispasmodic, antiseptic hypotensive effects. According to literature data types such therapeutic activity black horehound grass, the grass dead-nettle herb wormwood and compatible whose presence leads to a potentiation of pharmacological action due to the fact that the components of the content biologically active substances (BAS) show a complex impact on different parts of body systems and increase reliability and predictable therapeutic effect. This complex of action reduces the possibility of side effects of display. The aim of this work is the theoretical basis structure and development of technology for rational drug cerebroprotective action in the form of hard gelatin capsules based on dry extracts medical plant material (MPM), namely black horehound grass, herb nettle deaf, sage herb. Currently sports-mass and health-improving work appears to be one of the most important directions in social students’ self-government as well as effective force of persuasion in necessity of students’ physical training and teachers’ professional activity improvement. New era states new innovative problems before all generations. These problems include improvement of life quality, of human health, active way of life, maintenance of peace in the world. One of the basic problems of future social development of state is the quality life improvement, improvement of people’s health and of demographic situation. Today the problems of population’s health, especially of students’ health are the most pressing ones. Up till now the problem of students’ health strengthening by means of physical culture remains acute. In this article we tried to study the peculiarities of dynamic improvement of students’ physical motion in the last decades. The results of students’ motive behavior received during our study predetermined the real interest to active physical culture and sports training. Special students’ interest was provoked by their own model of self-development during the education at university. The decisive role played the stimulation of students’ self-government in motive activity improvement, healthy life-style, systematic physical culture and sports training. All these facts were connected with greater independence in self-development and preparation to the future professional activity. It is the most prevalent neurological disorder leading to illness and death. Stroke is a syndrome characterized by the initiation of acute neurological disorders lasting at least for 24 hours. It reflects the focal involvement of central nervous system induced by blood circulation disorders in brain. This study was designed to study D-Dimer and FDP serum levels in ischemic brain stroke patients with and without malignancy. Method of study: This is a randomized clinical trial in the form of a case-control study. The population of study consists of all cases admitted in the neurology department of Imam-Khomeini Hospital in Urmia who included in the study via randomized allocation after obtaining their consent. Cases with underlying malignancy were grouped in case group and those with no malignancy were grouped in control group. Results: In this study, 60 and 120 cases were studied in the case and control groups, respectively. There was a significant difference in mean D-Dimer (P=0.01), mean FDP (P=0.02), mean ESR (P=0.01) and mean CRP (P=0.01) between case and control groups. Lung cancer was the most prevalent cancer (31.7%) in the case group. In addition, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia and hypertension risk factors were reported in the case group with a frequency of 28.3%, 33.3% and 30%, respectively. Conclusion: In patients with ischemic stroke and malignancy, the serum levels of D-dimer and ESR was elevated and risk factors such as DM, HLP, and HTN had a high rate in these patients, so in patients with cancer, occurrence of cerebral ischemia is higher compared to patients without malignancy. So knowing mechanisms, type and stage of cancer is critical for survival of these patients. Keywords: Diabetes mellitus, D-Dimer, ESR, Hyperlipidemia, Hypertension, Ischemic stroke.

Abstract

Background: There are still many unresolved problems that reduce frequency of clinical and technical success of angioplasty of lower limb arteries. One of such problems is impact of the arterial pedal arch revascularization on the clinical result of angioplasty in patients with IV class critical lower limb ischemia according to Pokrovsky-Fontaine classification. Material and methods: The results of treatment of 98 patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD), complicated by critical lower limb ischemia of IV class according to Pokrovsky-Fontaine classification were analyzed in the early postoperative period and 1 year later after the completed angioplasty. Patients were divided into two comparable groups: the first group-the patients with the arterial pedal arch revascularization, the second group – the patients whom it had been impossible to revascularize the arterial arch. Results: “Good result” in patients of the first group in the early postoperative period and one year later was 23.1% and 22.7% respectively. In the patients of the second group-9.2% and 5.6%. The both group patients avoided amputations in the early postoperative period, but one year later 53.3% of the second group patients with the “unsatisfactory result” underwent amputation. Conclusions: According to the results, the arterial pedal arch revascularization influences on the clinical results and decreases the quantity of amputations in patients with purulent-necrotic changes in the lower limb.
