Abstract

Breast cancer is one of the most dangerous and most common malignancies  among women in the world, which affects different age groups of women, IL-17 plays an important role in chronic inflammation and cancer, Serum IL-17BR concentration which useful in early diagnosis and staging of breast tumors.  The aim of the study was to evaluate of IL-17BR serum concentrations in patients with benign and malignant breast tumors and study the relation between the above parameter and breast cancer development. The study population was composed of 120 samples 24 patients with recently diagnosed breast carcinoma, 6 patients with repetitive carcinoma, 40 patients with benign breast tumor (fibroadenoma) and 50 normal apparently health woman as a control.ELISA technique was applied for estimation of IL-17BR levels in patients as well as apparently healthy volunteers of women. The results revealed the mean age of malignant breast females was 52.8 ± 12.3 (Mean ± SD), while it was 26.9 ± 8.3 years for women with benign tumor with highly significant difference (P<0.001), IL-17BR level was determined and found that was a highly significant difference in its level among benign breast females subjects (72.48 Ng/ μL) and healthy control (50.87 Ng/ μL) P< 0.001), no significant difference in the mean of sIL-17BR level among the different patients‘ groups (49.83, 64.33 Ng/ μL) for recurrent and primary breast cancer respectively. Estimation of IL-17BR level showed significant elevation of the concentration among the sera of recurrent breast cancer in comparison with other groups which perhaps regarded as a prognostic marker. Keywords: IL-17BR, Fibro adenoma, Breast cancer, Carcinoma, ELISA.

Abstract

Requirements and user interface specifications are often elicited and specified separately, in most cases. The errors in requirements gathering and software specification phases lead to project failure and costlymistakes during software development. Likewise a bad user interface lessens the quality of software.WEBSTEUIR is a support tool to help the developers and users in user interface requirement elicitationand specification. The approach used in WEBSTEUIR is to elicit user interface requirements from UMLinteraction diagrams in order to generate SRS which include user interface requirements and have to bewell understood and well presented to the developers and end-users and also provide easy way to extractmain functionalities, features, and user interface of the software. Description of our approach to softwareuser interface requirements specification and an overview of WEBSTEUIR's design concepts are presentedin the paper, together with examples of the tool's use, a comparison with related work and pointers tofuture.

Abstract

Mustard greens are fresh during the harvesting season but perishable under the prevailing conditions of temperature and humidity as well as lack of adequate storage facilities. An alternative way of preserving surplus mustard greens could be fermented to pickle products. Preservation of the mustard green by fermentation can eliminate the undesired taste and improve flavor of the vegetable. Therefore we explored a lactic fermentation from mustard greens by focusing on the effect of different parameters such as blanching time and temperature as pre-treatment, salt concentration, fermentation time to physicochemical, microbial and sensory characteristics of pickled mustard greens. Experimental results revealed that blanching raw mustard green in water heated at 95oC in 10 seconds, 6% salt in 12 days of fermentation was appropriated to get a pleasant pickled mustard greens quality. Mustard greens pickles are considered as one of the health supplements. Keywords: Mustard greens, Lactic fermentation, Salt, blanching, Physicochemical, Microbial, Sensory.

Abstract

The simplifying original shoreline of vector data into direction-line is the source of picture of baselines of the shape detection. Applying standard algorithms of vector data confining, such as the Douglas-Peucker algorithm, to analyze the real shoreline within direction-line, disregards the specific elements of a guarantee of general marine interests .To solve this problem, this research suggested an improved Douglas-Peucker algorithm. First, determine the curved vertices of the original shoreline as a choice set of points; later filter division points from curved vertices based on corner and length; ultimately, separate the data into different parts in order to complete the Douglas-Peucker algorithm, and compare the threshold of each part to efficiently select specialty points and protect shape detection. This research uses Python language to carry out the algorithm design, and openCV2. The results show that, compared with the Douglas-Peucker algorithm, the improved Douglas-Peucker algorithm improves how detect the contours, and shape detection, and the accuracy of curve simplification also fixed.

Abstract

The aim of this research paper is to study two properties of fullerene molecules. The first are electronic properties of heterofullerene C58Cl2 using Density Functional Theory (DFT). The geometrical structures, electronic properties, of the doped of fullerene molecules were studied systematically and compared with the pristine fullerene C60. A series of dodecahedral functionalized derivatives have been studied at the functional B3LYP and basis set 6- 31G (dip) level of density functional theory (DFT). The relative and formation energies of compounds, occupancy, the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO), the (LUMO -HOMO) energy gap (Egap) were calculated. The adsorption behavior of the CO and H2S on the surface of Fullerene is studied by DFT. The chemical potential or Fermi energy for Fullerene (C58Cl2) and gas molecules have been systematically explored. The adsorption energy values of gas molecule are short. So, the sensor will possess short recovery times. Our results indicate that larger values of EHOMO for adsorption CO and H2S fullerene C60 at site (a) is (-6.234 and -6.163 ) eV, show that a propensity of the molecule to donate electrons and smaller value ELUMO for fullerene C60  at site (a) is (-3.365 and -3.295) eV, these values show that a propensity of the molecule to accepter electrons and smaller values of Eads of C58Cl2 at site (b) is (-0.465 and -0.463) these values show that a propensity of the molecule used as a sensor. Keywords: Fullerene, Gas adsorption, density functional theory, HOMO and LUMO.
