Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises play a pivotal role in fostering economic growth and enhancing community welfare, yet many actors continue to encounter constraints related to limited entrepreneurial knowledge, inadequate managerial competencies, and low levels of business innovation. This study examines how Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise actors perceive the effectiveness of entrepreneurship training programs in strengthening business capacity, while also identifying the factors shaping these perceptions and proposing strategies to improve program outcomes. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving participants of entrepreneurship training programs in Tenam Village, Muara Bulian District, Batang Hari Regency. The findings reveal that participants generally express positive perceptions, particularly regarding improvements in business management knowledge, business planning skills, and foundational understanding of financial management and Islamic economic principles. Perceptions are influenced by the relevance of training materials, instructional methods, prior participant experience, and the duration of training. The study argues that enhancing the alignment between training content and business needs, extending training duration and intensity, and ensuring sustained post-training assistance are critical to optimizing the effectiveness of entrepreneurship training programs in strengthening Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise capacity.

Abstract

The Festival Anak Sholeh represents a community-based religious initiative that functions as a non-formal educational medium to foster Islamic character values among children in rural settings. This study investigates how the program is implemented and examines its effectiveness as a strategy for strengthening Islamic character education among elementary school-aged participants. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving community service students, religious leaders, village officials, organizing committee members, and child participants in Lubuk Ruso Village, Pemayung District, Batang Hari Regency. The findings reveal that the program significantly enhances children’s motivation to learn religious knowledge, strengthens self-confidence, and improves public performance skills, particularly in adhan recitation, Qur’anic tilawah, and memorization of short surahs. The program also contributes to the internalization of religious values such as discipline, responsibility, and confidence, supported by strong community engagement and the active role of local religious figures. This study argues that the Festival Anak Sholeh constitutes an effective and contextually relevant strategy for reinforcing Islamic character education, despite constraints related to limited facilities and time allocation.

Abstract

Bullying in elementary school settings continues to pose a critical challenge that undermines students’ psychological well-being, social interaction, and academic development. This study examines how a stop bullying socialization program grounded in Islamic values is implemented and evaluates its effectiveness in enhancing students’ awareness at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15/1 Lubuk Ruso, Pemayung District, Batang Hari Regency. Employing a descriptive qualitative design with an educative participatory approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and interactive question-and-answer evaluations. The findings demonstrate that the program significantly improves students’ comprehension of bullying concepts, including its forms, adverse consequences, and prevention strategies. The integration of Islamic values such as compassion, justice, and brotherhood strengthens students’ moral reasoning and fosters empathetic, non-violent attitudes in daily interactions. The study argues that value-based socialization initiatives not only increase cognitive awareness but also contribute to the formation of positive character and a safer school climate. This approach offers a contextually relevant and sustainable educational strategy for addressing bullying in primary education environments.

Abstract

This study examines the philosophical values embedded in the Tunggu Tubang tradition of the Semende Tribe, a customary inheritance system that assigns responsibility to the eldest daughter in sustaining family continuity and preserving ancestral heritage. The research addresses how these values shape social identity and contribute to character formation within the community. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and a comprehensive literature review. The findings reveal that the Tunggu Tubang tradition embodies interconnected values, including religious, leadership, cultural, and moral dimensions, which collectively guide individual conduct and social responsibility. These values function not only as normative principles for individuals entrusted with the Tunggu Tubang role but also as a broader ethical framework that reinforces communal cohesion and intergenerational continuity. The study argues that the philosophical foundation of this tradition holds significant relevance for contemporary character education, particularly in strengthening local wisdom and cultural resilience among younger generations.
