Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a web-based personnel information system for the West Sumba Regency Education, Youth and Sports Service (DPKO) using the Laravel framework. This system is designed to make it easier to manage personnel data which includes employee data, attendance, payroll and various other personnel-related information. By utilizing the Laravel framework, this system is expected to be able to provide convenience in managing data efficiently, structured and securely. The use of Laravel was chosen because of its advantages in developing web applications that are fast, safe, and supported by complete features. The results of this research show that the personnel information system being developed can speed up the process of processing employee data, reduce errors in data input, and provide convenience in making data-based decisions. Evaluation of this system was carried out through functionality and performance testing, which showed that this system worked well in accordance with the needs of the West Sumba Regency DPKO.

Abstract

Asphalt concrete as a material for road construction has long been known and is widely used in road construction. This research analysis is to evaluate the effect of adding sulfur to AC-WC asphalt on Marshall stability and fatigue values. Marshall stability and fatigue are key parameters in evaluating asphalt mix quality. Marshall fatigue measures a mixture's ability to overcome fatigue under repeated loading. The initial stage of the research, which was carried out in the engineering laboratory at the Islamic University of North Sumatra, was collecting data and checking the quality of the asphalt material and the quality of the aggregate that would be used in the mixture experiment. The asphalt used consists of oil asphalt, oil asphalt is taken from PT. Adhi Karya Patumbakk, Deli Serdang. The asphalt used in this research was Pertamina asphalt with penetration 60/70 and Esso asphalt with penetration 60/70.1. For a 5% variation, the Stability value was 162 kg, Bulk Density 2.20 gr/cc, flow 2.40 mm, VFA 62.67%, VIM 1.68%, and VMA 16.34%. 2. For a variation of 7%, the Stability value is 175 kg, Bulk Density 2.22 gr/cc, flow 2.61 mm, VFA 75.10%, VIM 1.47%, and VMA 16.36%. 3. For a variation of 9%, Stability is 192 kg, Bulk Density is 2.25 gr/cc, flow is 3.44 mm, VFA is 91.72%, VIM is 2.16%, and VMA is 15.70%. 4. For the Normal variation, you get Stability 204 kg, Bulk Density 2.23 gr/cc, flow 3.60 mm, VFA 71.47%, VIM 3.46%, and VMA 16.99%. 1. From testing the marshall characteristics of the LASTON AC-WC mixture which uses sulfur as an added ingredient with variations of 5%, 7% and 9% with reference to the Bina Marga standard specifications, 2018.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a web-based administrative service information system at the West Umbu Ratu Nggay District Office using the Waterfall method. This information system was developed to increase efficiency and effectiveness in managing administrative services, such as writing letters, archiving documents and other administrative processes which often take a long time if done manually. By applying the Waterfall method, system development is carried out in stages, starting from requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, to maintenance. This method was chosen because of its ability to ensure that each stage of system development is carried out in a structured and detailed manner. The research results show that the information system developed is able to automate various administrative processes at the Umbu Ratu Nggay Barat District Office, making it easier for employees to carry out their duties and improving the quality of service to the community. Evaluation of this system was carried out through functional testing and user trials, which showed that the system functions well and meets the administrative needs of the sub-district office.

Abstract

This research discusses the evaluation of the Sekar Putih road pavement structure in Mojokerto City, which often experiences damage due to unstable ground contours and heavy traffic loads, especially when used as an alternative route. Repeated damage causes a significant burden on the maintenance budget every year. To overcome this problem, the value engineering method is applied as a systematic approach in determining the most efficient type of construction in terms of cost and time without reducing the quality and function of the road. In this research, two road pavement systems were compared, namely the Modified Chicken Claw (CAM) foundation and flexible pavement. Through this comparative analysis, it is hoped that a more economical road construction solution will be found, able to extend the life of the road plan, and reduce maintenance costs in the future. This research also plays a role in supporting more sustainable infrastructure planning for the Mojokerto region which is developing rapidly as part of the Pintukertosusila metropolitan area.

Abstract

This research discusses road pavement repairs on expansive soil using various methods such as rigid pavement with additional pillars, the Chicken Claw system, and flexible pavement supported by lime columns or alternative material mixtures. One efficient technical solution is the use of industrial waste such as rice husk ash and carbide waste, which have the potential to be used as environmentally friendly soil improvement materials. The lime column technique has been proven to be able to reduce expansive soil pressure and flexible plate deformation in laboratory scale tests, with an optimal distance between columns of around three times the column diameter. Column modification by enlarging the base can reduce differential settlement and heaving, making it an alternative for sustainable flexible pavement structural repairs. This research roadmap is planned for three years with stages of 3D testing in the laboratory, field tests, and evaluation of road pavement structures. The final results of the research are expected to create a road pavement system that is not only technically effective but also supports the concept of environmentally friendly construction (green construction), with a target of full implementation in 2020.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the value of Engineering Mathematics courses and the value of Structural Analysis courses obtained by civil engineering students of STT Raden Wijaya Mojokerto. This study is classified as quantitative research with a numerical data approach. The type of research used is correlative analytical research using the SPSS software application program version 21. The population in this study were civil engineering students of STT Raden Wijaya Mojokerto, who had taken Engineering Mathematics and Structural Analysis courses. The sampling technique used in this study was the Simple Random Sampling technique. The statistical analysis used in this study was Pearson correlation analysis (product moment). The results of the analysis were obtained Based on the results of the study regarding the relationship between Engineering Mathematics and Structural Analysis scores, it is classified as moderate. This means that the influence is small. Although positively correlated, the results are significant or cannot be generalized to the population. This shows that the value of the Engineering Mathematics course obtained is not related to the value of the Structural Analysis course obtained. The correlation between the value of engineering mathematics and the value of structural analysis is 0.488 with significance at the error level of 5% and the r-Table is 0.261, then (r-calculated = 0.488 > r-table = 0.261) means Ho is accepted, but the relationship between the value of engineering mathematics and the value of the structural analysis course has no relationship because even though the value of the engineering mathematics course is high, it does not necessarily mean that the value of the structural analysis course is also high.

Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) management has a strategic role in strengthening the local economy, but Toko Sejahtera still faces obstacles related to stock management, transaction recording, and customer service. The Microsoft Excel-based recording system is considered less effective in reflecting real-time stock of goods, so there is often uncertainty in the availability of goods which causes customer dissatisfaction. This research aims to design and implement a web-based e-commerce system at Toko Sejahtera to overcome these obstacles, by providing a platform that allows customers to check stock items before ordering, as well as update transactions and stock automatically. The system was designed using UML approach with various diagrams, such as use case, class, activity, and sequence to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the system. Testing is done through Black Box Testing to ensure the system functions as expected. The results show that this system can improve operational efficiency, service quality, and customer experience by providing online transaction features, real-time sales reports, and COD payment options.

Abstract

The Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Batang Regency is a government agency that deals whit the construction and repair of public facilities in Batang Regency. The public works and spatial planning office is located at Jl. Jend. Sudirman No. 272 Batang Regency. Currently, the public complaint process in the DPUPR in the spatial planning sector has not been going well and has several problems including the complaint service process not using Social Media, but still using letters, so the delivery process tends to take a long time. In addition, the process of distributing reports using letters causes inconsistencies in data, the procedures currently being implemented require a long time for complaints to be responded to, resulting in inefficient time and costs. Therefore, in making this thesis a Public Complaint Service Information System will be designed at the Public Works and Batang Spatial Planning Office. This system uses the Waterfall development method, and uses white box, black box and uat testing methods. From the results of this study, it is hoped that it can help the community to make the complaint process easier.

Abstract

Real-time operating systems (RTOS) are critical components in various applications requiring rapid response times and high precision, such as in the automotive, medical, and telecommunications industries. Scheduling algorithms in these systems function to allocate CPU time for task execution according to priority, ensuring each task is completed before its deadline. This study aims to evaluate key algorithms, such as Rate Monotonic Scheduling (RMS), Earliest Deadline First (EDF), and heuristic-based algorithms, to identify the most effective method in meeting real-time system requirements. Based on literature analysis, RMS and EDF each exhibit advantages in specific scenarios, while hybrid algorithms show potential for further development.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of cryptographic technology for securing exam questions in a college environment, focusing on the use of the AES-256 and SHA-256 algorithms. The purpose of this study is to protect exam questions from the threat of leaks and ensure the authenticity of the questions received by students. In the experimental method in the proposed scientific writing, exam questions will be encrypted using the AES-256 algorithm, while the SHA-256 algorithm is used to generate a unique hash value that maintains the integrity of the question data, where the hash itself is an alphanumeric code generated from the process of converting digital data through certain mathematical functions. The AES-256 and SHA-256 Cryptographic Algorithms are chosen as algorithms to secure exam questions, Oracle VM VirtualBox and Kali Linux as the types of software/operating systems chosen to run the AES-256 and SHA-256 cryptographic algorithms. expected with strong protection against the threat of data leaks and manipulation, and ensure that the exam questions received by students remain original and do not change and are maintained authenticity.
