Abstract

Land is one of the most important parts of a construction building. Soil strength is needed to support the load of a building. However, not all types of soil can be used directly to make construction buildings, one of which is peat soil in Sulobaja Village, Tobadak District, Central Mamuju Regency. So it is necessary to do soil improvement or soil stabilization in order to achieve the standard soil density value that is suitable for use for a construction building. From the results of testing the addition of sand to peat soil, the level of soil water content increased in a mixture of 5% and 10% sand, namely from the normal soil water content of 9.82% to 10.01% in a mixture of 5% sand and to 10.06% in the addition of 10% sand. Meanwhile, with the addition of 15% sand, the soil water content decreased to 8.22% and with the addition of sand, the degree of soil density increased from 84.11% to 86.06% with the addition of 5% sand, 89.36% with the addition of 10% sand, and to 93.50% with the addition of 15% sand, so it is known that the more sand is added, the higher the degree of soil density obtained.

Abstract

The Cheap Market activity is one of the programs launched by the Bengkalis government to deal with price inflation of basic commodities which usually occurs during religious holidays such as Eis al-Fitr as well as Christmas and New Year. In implementing this program, there ware many difficulties and obstacles faced by the Bengkalis Trade and Industry Service as the implementer of cheap market activities. To deal with the obstacles currently being faced, the author created a website-based Cheap Market Data Collection System Application (SIPEMURAH). The SIPEMURAH application was created using the extreme programming method whichhas 4 stages, namely planning, design, coding dan testing. By using this method the developer must be prepared for changes to be made if the application being built does not meet the user’s widhes, then testing is carried out using the Blackbox testing technique to get good result.

Abstract

In processing agricultural products, various machining equipment is often used. One kind of machine which is being used for the processing of agricultural crop is a shallot leaf cutting machine, used to prepare seeds ready for replanting. However, this process often results in imperfect cuts, leaving leaves that are too long, this condition can slow down the growth of the shallot seedlings. This research aims to determine the effect of rotational speed and inclination angle of the cutting knife shaft in achieving optimal quality of the size of the cutting residue. The data collection method was carried out by varying the value of the rotational speed of 900rpm, 1000rpm, and 1100rpm with knife shaft tilt angles of 8o, 11o, and 14o. Then the data obtained was processed using the desain of eksperimen factorial. The most optimal results obtained in this research were the results of the size of the remaining leaves from cutting which had the smallest average value at a rotational speed of 1100 rpm and a shaft tilt angle of 11o with an average remaining leaf from cutting of 10.207 mm, while the cutting results had The largest average value was found at a rotational speed of 1100 rpm and a shaft tilt angle of 8o with an average remaining leaf from cutting of 15.707 mm.

Abstract

The annual qurban ritual is performed by Nurul Huda Mosque, although a recurring activity, it often encounters challenges in its execution. Issues such as manual participant registration using books and records, non-transparent meat distribution, and the use of traditional paper-based coupon systems for persistent meat allocation. To address these challenges, this study aims to develop a web-based Simasjid application with qurban management features and examine its impact on congregants and qurban participants.The research focuses on the implementation of the Extreme Programming method for developing the Simasjid application. Extreme Programming, as an Agile approach, provides a flexible and adaptive software development model. This method accommodates evolving user requirements and includes stages such as planning, design, coding, and testing.

Abstract

Cat breed identification is a complex process and requires an in-depth understanding of the physical and genetic characteristics of cats. In this study, a forward chaining method to identify cat breeds based on their morphological features. The forward chaining approach allows us to make logical and systematic inferences from the given facts. In this method, rules are built based on the common physical characteristics associated with each cat breed. These rules are then used to perform inference based on the given facts. This process is done iteratively until no additional rules can be applied. The results of this study show that the forward chaining method is effective in identifying cat breeds. By using the right features, cat breed identification has a high success rate. This method can be used as a tool for animal experts or cat lovers in recognizing cat breeds more accurately.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has opened new opportunities in the world of education, one of which is through the digitalization of academic reading materials. The E-Book system has become a relevant solution to improve accessibility and efficiency in the use of learning resources. This research aims to design and develop an E-Book system to be implemented in the Library of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Pattimura University. This study uses a software development method, namely the waterfall method. The system is built using the CodeIgniter Framework, which applies the MVC concept, where the programming language used is PHP, and MySQL serves as the database server. In designing the system, the UML model is applied and a prototype is created to illustrate the system's interface display. Meanwhile, system testing is conducted using the Black Box Testing method. The results of this study indicate that the E-Book system functions well in terms of functionality, with no errors found, and is able to accelerate the process of searching, downloading, and uploading digital book data independently by students.

Abstract

The increasing needs of society have increased mobility and caused transportation problems, especially congestion. One solution is to promote the use of public transport. In Yogyakarta, the Trans Jogja Bus was introduced in 2008 as an effort to overcome traffic jams. This bus serves urban agglomeration areas with 140 units and 21 routes. One important step is the implementation of intermodal integration at Tugu Station, which connects Trans Jogja Buses with trains and KRL. This research aims to analyze the impact of this integration on increasing the number of passengers on routes 6A, 6B, and 15. The implementation of integration between public transport modes at Tugu City Yogyakarta Station can generally increase the number of passengers on Trans Jogja Urban Transport Routes 6A, 6B, and 15. Fluctuations The number of passengers on Trans Jogja Urban Transport Routes 6A, 6B, and 15 is caused by several factors such as the implementation of re-routing, teaching and learning activities at schools, red dates such as Christmas Day in December, and school holiday activities.

Abstract

Cultural heritage archiving by collecting and managing archives that include documents, archiving using the Close Range Photogrammetry method by analyzing the density of points and making a 3D model of the Gebouw Van Padangsche Spaarbank building by taking overlapping photo data from different camera angles. The purpose of this study is to analyze the point density and geometry of the 3D mesh to create an archive, improving efficiency in information management. In this study, the results of 3D modeling of the Gebouw Van Padangsche Spaarbank building with a close-range photogrammetry technique were obtained, resulting in 157 photos used to make 3D models. The flying altitude of the drone is not more than 20 m with the height of each line varies, for Line 1 is at the top line at an altitude of 17 m, Line 2 is at an altitude of 10 m, Line 3 is at an altitude of 17 m, height is 7 m and for Line 4 at an altitude of 3 m The results obtained from this analysis are 94,869 tie points from the results of 144,764, thick clouds 15,393,722, and faces 529,237. The results of the comparison of the dimensional accuracy test of the 3D model building to the actual size in the field resulted in an average distance of 0.1408 m.

Abstract

Construction projects are unique activities, many factors affect the uniqueness of construction projects, from the type of project, workers, the shape of the building, the budgeted costs to the environment where the construction project is built. The materials applied to construction projects are part of the uniqueness of construction projects that coincide with the environment and the type of project or in other words, the materials used in construction projects are very dependent on the cost and type of project, especially in wall installation, consisting of various materials, one of which is sandwich, PU panels, and light bricks. The application of materials also needs to be considered in the construction project that will be built, one example is the construction of a commercial broiler farm. This study aims to determine the comparison of time, cost, and difference in NPV value in wall installation using PU panel sandwich material and light brick in the construction of a commercial broiler farm in Wuryantoro, Wonogiri Regency, Central Java. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the time for wall installation with PU panel sandwich was 15 days, while the installation of walls with light bricks was 21 days for each building unit. And based on the RAB for the implementation of wall installation work using PU panels amounting to Rp. 666,246,585, and for the RAB for the implementation of wall installation with light brick materials worth Rp. 399,456,831. Meanwhile, for the comparison of NPV projected for 5 years for PU Panel is Rp. 244,981,275, while for light brick work it is Rp. 517,436,965. So that the difference in NPV between the two materials is Rp. 272,455,689.

Abstract

PT. Mayora Indah Tbk. (Company) was founded in 1977 with the first factory located in Tangerang with a target market in the Jakarta area and surrounding areas. PT Mayora Indah Tbk. has been able to prove itself to be one of the quality and high quality food producers and is called a market leader who has succeeded in creating a number of products that have pioneered each of these product categories. This company has several departments, one of which is the Production Department. Before conducting research, researchers first recorded all production defects for the period Mei 2023 – April 2024. Based on the results of research using the Six Sigma method, it was found that in the Production Department, the Wafer Division had the most defective products with a total of 63.460 pcs. Six Sigma implementation is an approach to improving product or service quality by reducing variability and process errors. This involves the steps Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control. Factors that cause production defects are caused by several things, including Man, Methods, Machine, Material and Environment
