Abstract

Scabies is a contagious infectious disease caused by infection and sensitization by Sarcoptesscabei var hominis mites (Sarcoptes sp.). transmission can occur directly and indirectly. one ofthe effects of scabies is poor personal hygiene. To determine the correlation personal hygienewith incidence of scabies in Islamic boarding Wustho students (SMP) Al Falah PuteraBanjarbaru. This study was a correlational study with cross-sectional approach, using samplingtechniques probality sampling with simple random sampling. The population was all studentswere Islamic boarding wustho in first class as many as 341 students. Total respondent were 184students in Islamic boarding. Analysis of the Personal hygiene exposed to scabies 24% good,good personal hygiene was not affected by scabies 76%. Personal hygiene badly affected byscabies 53%, poor personal hygiene was not affected by scabies 47%. Result of correlation chisquare test p value = 0.000 and (r) = 12.590. personal hygiene associated with the incidence ofscabies. Personal hygiene was one of effort that can prevent the incidence of scabies.

Abstract

Gastritis is inflammation in the mucosal layer and sub-mucosa of the stomach. The most commoncause is a bacterial infection of helicobacter pylori, autoimmune disorders and long-term use ofanti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This study aimed to describe the factors that influence theincidence of gastritis in RSUD Ratu Zalecha Martapura. This was a descriptive study withconsecutive sampling method. Sample of 33 respondents in hospitals Queen Zalecha Martapurawas gained. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed byunivariate. The results showed that of the total respondents, 66.7% have no good diet, 57.6% hada type of food that is not good, 63.6% frequently use anti-pain medications and antiinflammatory, 81.8% claimed to have the stress of work, 63.6% non-smokers, and 78.7% does notdrink alcohol.

Abstract

Stroke is the caution of disability and death in the world. One of the consequence of diability instroke patients is BADL disturbance. Someone who have acute, chronic disease and physicsdisability will raise psycological respones as hopelessness. Purpose of this study to determinecorrelation of BADL with hopelessness in stroke patients. Design of this study was cross sectionalin patients with nonhemoragic stroke treated in Seruni and Mawar in RSUD Ulin Banjarmasinconducted on November 22 until December 25, 2015 the number of samples were 21 patientsnonhemoragic stroke. Sampling method was consecutive sampling. Analyze result correlation ofBADL with hopelessness used spearman correlation, with significant value (2 tailed) 0,002<0,05,there was strong correlation and negative between hopelessness and BADL (P=0,002, r = 0,641).Factors that influence hopelessness are mobility impairment, family support, spirituality andemotional. The better the family support, spirituality and emotional then the value ofhopelessness will decrease.

Abstract

Family support is the assistance given by other family members that will provide comfort. Familysupport is needed by the elderly to improve their quality of life. To determine the relationship offamily support with the quality of life of the elderly in PSTW Budi Sejahtera Banjarbaru.Observational study using cross sectional design. Respondents totaled 50 elderly with researchinstruments such as questionnaires family support and quality of life questionnaire WHOQOLOLD. Research showed that elderly people who had high levels of support for poor familiestotaling 23 people (46%), family support sufficient amounts to 12 people (24%), family supportboth numbering 12 people (24%) and family support is very good amount to 3 people (6% ).Elderly people who had a low level of quality of life totaled 3 (6%), quality of life was 36 (72%)and a high quality of life for a total of 11 people (22%). Analysis of data from this study usedSpearman Rank test obtained p value of 0.001 (p ˂ 0.05) which shall mean there was asignificant relationship between family support with the quality of life of the elderly in PSTWBudi Sejahtera Banjarbaru with r = 0.884, which means the power of strong relationships andhas a positive direction. The support given to the elderly a good family will improved the qualityof life of the elderly.

Abstract

Exclusive breasfeeding is one of several factors that influence the development of infants aged 0-6 months. Development child can be judge from the aspect of gross motor, fine motor, languageand personal social. The objective of this research was to identify relationships exclusivebreasfeeding with the development of infants aged 6 months in the working area of puskesmasGuntung Payung. The Methods of research used design cross sectional. The research wascarried out on 36 infants aged 6 months in the working area of puskesmas Guntung Payung.Instrument of research was the form of the question an interview to know the classification ofexclusive breasfeeding or not and the form of observation KPSP to assess the development ofchild. The result of this research indicated that there are 41,7% infants who are given exclusivebreastfeeding and 58,3% infants who not given exclusive breastfeeding . The development ofinfants that appropriate is 41,7%, dubious 33,3% and probably have wrong development is25,0%. The test result of chi square get p-value = 0,02. The analysis shows that there arerelationships exclusive breasfeeding with the development of infants aged 6 months in theworking area of puskesmas Guntung Payung.

Abstract

Hospitalization is a condition that causes a person should stay in the hospital for treatment andmedication. One of the possible nursing interventions for the children to reduce their anxiety duringhospitalization is through play therapy such as clay play. The purpose of this study was to find out theeffectiveness of clay therapy on the anxiety in preschool children (3-6 years) during hospitalization inBanjarbaru Public Hospital. This study was quasi experimental with a pretest-posttest non equivalentcontrol group design. The accidental sampling technique was used in this study to select the samplesof 26 preschool children. The samples were divided into two groups, an experimental group and acontrol group, each of which consisted of 13 children. Child’s anxiety was measured using thePreschool Anxiety Scale Revised (2010). The data were collected through measuring pre and postanxiety on both groups. The statistical results using t-independent test showed that p-value was0.000<α 0.05, indicating that there were the effectiveness of clay therapy on reducing anxiety inpreschool children (3-6 years) during hospitalization in Banjarbaru Public Hospital.

Abstract

Avoiding food containing gluten and casein is one of the efforts to reduce autistic behaviorsbecause the two substances can effect the central nerve system which leads to behavioralabnormality. The parents’ compliance with the diet should be consistent to improve the behaviors ofautistic children. The purpose of the study was to find out the relationship between the parents’compliance with gluten free and casein free diet and the behaviors of austistic children. This study wasan observational analytical research which employed cross sectional approach with a totalrespondents of 31 people and utilized purposive sampling method. This study was used Sprearman’sCorrelation test. The result of the study indicated that the correlation coefficient was 0,453 and thesignificance of research results was 0,010 it could be inferred that the relationship between theparents’ compliance with gluten free and casein free diet and the behaviors of autistic children hadmedium, significant and negative correlation (irrelevant). It was suggested that the parents’ shouldlook for the information about gluten free and casein free diet through mass media, seminars,talkshows, or trainings and apply gluten free and casein free diet to autistic children.

Abstract

The infusion installation provided to a child at the time entering a hospital causes continuous trauma.It constitutes a procedure which brings about inconvenient feeling, fear and anxiety to the child. Therole of the parents during a child is treated in the hospital is a form of collaboration between thefamily and the medical profession and the presence of the parents provides a comportable feeling tothe child. This research is aimed at studying the relationship between the parents' role and the level ofchild's anxiety at the time of infusion installation at emergency care unit of Banjarbaru RegionalPublic Hospital. This research applies quantitative method with cross-sectional approach. Samplingis taken by using accidental sampling with the quantity of samples of 40 people. Data is obtained byusing observation sheets to the parents and the anxiety of the children, the data is tabulated andanalyzed. Analysis is made by applying chi-square analysis where a result of the value sig 0.001 (p <0,05) is obtained. From this research it can be concluded that there is a relationship between theparent's role and the level of a child's anxiety ath the time infusion installation.

Abstract

Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteriawhich attacks the lung. Family health task is an obligation that should be performed by a family inorder to optimize the health of the family members. The role of family is very significant in preventingthe transmission and in assisting the patient during treatment that proper implementation of familyhealth task is extremely required. The purpose of this study was to described the family health tasksto family member(s) suffering from Pulmonary Tuberculosis in the working area of Astambul PublicHealth Center in the period from February-August 2014. The method used in this study was adescriptive research method. There were 30 respondents taken with saturated sampling technique.The results of the study on the implementation of family health tasks showed that: 8 respondents(26%) were categorized good, 11 respondents (37%) fair, and 11 respondents (37%) poor. The resultsof the performance of each task indicated that identifying problems was 15 respondents (50%) poor,making decision 18 respondents (60%) fair, providing treatment 15 respondents (50%) poor,modifying the environment 13 respondents (43%) fair, and utilizing the health facilities 12respondents (40%) good. It could t be concluded that the implementation of family health tasks tofamily member(s) suffering from pulmonary tuberculosis in the working area of Astambul PublicHealth Center in the period from February-August 2014 mostly fell under the category of fair andpoor.

Abstract

Primary dysmenorrhea is menstruation pain experienced by female adolescents which comes fromuterus cramp. This is caused by the uterus contraction and the detached uterus wall because of theincreasing of prostaglandin. Dysmenorrhea caused 14% of female students absence at school and notparticipating in school routines. To overcome this, non-pharmacology therapy is needed in order toavoid the side effect on their body. This study was aimed to find the effect of low impact aerobicexercise on female students. This study was pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design.The scale of pain was measured using Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). The sample gathering was doneby purposive sampling of 22 respondents at SMKN 1 Martapura. The data analysis used Wilcoxontest with the significance of 95%. The results of the statistical test p<α was 0,000<0,05 which meansH0 was denied and Ha was accepted. It could be concluded that there was an effect of low impactaerobic exercise to reduce the scale of menstruation pain on female students.
