Abstract

This study aims to determine teacher communication patterns in early childhood Islamic education at Kaobula Jaya Kindergarten, Taduasa Village, Batu District. Early childhood Islamic education plays a crucial role in shaping children's character, morals, and spiritual development. Therefore, teacher communication is a key factor in conveying Islamic values ​​to students. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of teachers and students at Kaobula Jaya Kindergarten. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that teacher communication patterns in early childhood Islamic education are implemented through verbal and nonverbal communication. Verbal communication is implemented through giving advice, Islamic stories, encouraging prayer, and using polite language that is easy for children to understand. Meanwhile, nonverbal communication is carried out through exemplary attitudes, facial expressions, gestures, and the practice of Islamic behavior in daily life at school. The communication patterns implemented by teachers can help children understand Islamic values, improve discipline and manners, and foster religious character in early childhood.

Abstract

The difficulty of students in determining creative ideas, especially in drawing activities, is a challenge that needs to be circumvented by educators. This article aims to increase students' creativity in decorative drawing through the application of the collective painting method. The research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive presentation. The object of the research is students of the Early Childhood Education study program in the second semester of the Basics of Drawing course. The focus of the research is directed at decorative drawing activities with the collective painting method, which requires cooperation, cohesiveness, and the ability to pour ideas to each other. The process of working with this method has been proven to be able to spur creativity, accelerate processing time, and produce large and monumental works. The results of the study show that students experience an increase in enthusiasm for work, are more active in collaborating, and are able to produce works with more optimal quality. The conclusion of the study confirms that the collective painting method is effectively used as a learning strategy to increase students' creativity in decorative drawing, as well as foster an attitude of cooperation and motivation to work. These findings contribute to the development of fine arts learning methods in universities, especially in the context of early childhood education.

Abstract

The introduction of entrepreneurship from an early age is one of the important strategies in shaping the character of early childhood. This study aims to find out the implementation of market day activities at Al Qur'an Kindergarten in Baubau City and its impact on children's character development. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that market day activities are able to introduce the basic concept of entrepreneurship to children through simple buying and selling activities, cooperation, communication, and responsibility. Children seem enthusiastic in interacting with friends and teachers during the activity. In addition, this activity also contributes to fostering confidence, independence, creativity, and discipline attitudes in early childhood. The conclusion of the study emphasizes that market days can be an effective learning method in instilling entrepreneurial values while supporting children's character development. These findings imply that the integration of real-world practice-based activities in the early childhood education curriculum can strengthen character learning while preparing children to face future life challenges.
