Abstract

Tujuan dari artikel ini untuk mengetahui identifikasi hama ulat dan upaya pengendaliannya terhadap bawang merah varietas batu karet di bukit berkah organik. Praktek Kerja Lapangan dilaksanakan selama 5 minggu dari 23 Januari 2023 sampai 24 Februari 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan Praktik Kerja Lapangan diantaranya metode observasi, wawancara, praktik lapangan dan studi literatur. Hama ulat bawang merah (spodoptera exigua) menyerang tanaman bawang merah mulai dari fase vegetatif sampai fase generatif. Hama ulat (Spodoptera exigua) merupakan hama utama pada tanaman bawang merah. Hama ini dapat mengakibatkan penurunan hasil produksi bawang merah sampai 50 – 100%. Pengendalian yang dilakukan di Bukit Berkah Organik dengan menggunakan insektisida berupa campuran dari insektisida curacron 500 EC yang berbahan aktif Profenofos 500 g/L, Matador 25 EC berbahan aktif Lamda Sihalotrin 25 g/L, dan Sidamentrin 50 EC berbahan aktif Sipermetrin 50 g/L.

Abstract

Paprika (Capsicum annuum var. Grossum) merupakan tanaman hortikultura yang cukup diminati masyarakat karena memiliki kandungan gizi dan nilai ekonomis yang tinggi. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman paprika yaitu dengan melakukan teknis budidaya yang baik seperti penyiraman dan pengaplikasian nutrisi yang tepat. Survei lapangan dilaksanakan di P4S Kurnia Abadi yang terletak di Desa Pasirlangu, Kecamatan Cisarua, Kabupaten Bandung Barat selama satu bulan mulai tanggal 24 Januari 2023 – 24 Februari 2023. dengan menggunakan metode penelitian survei yang meliputi kegiatan wawancara, forum group discussion, dan studi pustaka. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pengaplikasian nutrisi AB mix pada budidaya tanaman paprika di P4S Kurnia Abadi dilakukan secara konstan dari fase penyemaian hingga fase pematangan buah secara manual menggunakan selang dengan volume larutan nutrisi 500 ml tanaman-1 dalam satu hari. Pengaplikasian nutrisi AB mix yang dilakukan masih belum sesuai dengan Standar Operasional Prosedur yang telah diterbitkan oleh Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran sehingga pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman paprika tidak optimal.

Abstract

Kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.) merupakan tanaman semusim yang ditanam di daerah dataran tinggi dengan suhu 14-22 0C dengan pada ketinggian 1000-2000 mdpl. Kentang memiliki peran penting dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan akan tetapi rata-rata produksi kentang di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah, salah satu penyebabnya karena petani sulit memperoleh benih kentang yang berkualitas tinggi. Upaya agar produksi kentang di Indonesia dapat meningkat yaitu dengan menggunakan benih unggul, salah satunya yaitu jenis varietas Kultivar Granola seperti yang dipakai oleh Kelompok Tani Lestari Tani Pangalengan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari teknik budidaya kentang varietas Granola Lembang yang dilakukan di POKTAN Lestari Tani Pangalengan. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu metode observasi, wawancara dan FGD (Forum Group Discussion) serta pengumpulan data sekunder meliputi pengumpulan dokumen yang berisi data atau gambar serta penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian mengenai budidaya tanaman kentang diawali dari persiapan lahan, pemilihan bibit berkualitas, penanaman, pemeliharaan, panen dan pascapanen. Hasil produksi budidaya kentang pada lahan seluas 100 tumbak atau 1.600 m2 mendapatkan hasil panen sebanyak 2,9 ton kentang.

Abstract

This study focuses on monitoring the 2024 regional elections (Pilkada) in Setiabudi District, South Jakarta, emphasizing local dynamics at TPS 19 and its implications for the democratic process. This study aims to examine the socio-political challenges, technical aspects, and election results in this urban district with diverse demographic composition. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis, with thematic analysis applied to identify key findings. The results highlight significant issues, such as voter apathy, logistical challenges, and the role of independent oversight in improving election accountability. The study concludes that inclusive policies, increased transparency, and targeted socialization strategies are essential to increasing voter participation and trust. These findings provide valuable insights for policymakers and election organizers in optimizing election management and public engagement in urban environments. By implementing the recommendations from this study, it is hoped that the quality of democracy in Indonesia can be improved through increased voter participation, transparency, and more effective election management.

Abstract

The election in Pameungpeuk Subdistrict, Bandung Regency, reflects significant local political dynamics despite its relatively small number of polling stations (TPS) and voter population compared to other subdistricts. This study employs a qualitative approach with descriptive data analysis to examine the election process, voter political preferences, and the challenges faced during the election. The findings show that public enthusiasm was relatively high, although logistical challenges such as road access and weather affected the distribution of election materials. Voter preferences in Pameungpeuk were influenced by local needs, promises of infrastructure development, as well as emotional and personal connections with the candidates. Support from election committees and supervisors ensured the smooth running of the voting process, despite a shortage of personnel in some polling stations. The implications of the election results highlight the critical role of rural areas like Pameungpeuk in determining the outcomes of elections at the regency level.

Abstract

Pilkada is a democratic event to elect regional leaders who are competent and responsive to the needs of the community. This study aims to monitor the implementation of the 2024 Pilkada at TPS 2 Sukamantri Village, Karangtengah Subdistrict, Cianjur Regency, which includes all stages of the election, starting from the debate of candidate pairs (paslon), campaign, quiet period, voting, vote counting, to the recapitulation of vote results. The method used is a field study with a qualitative descriptive approach through direct observation at each stage of the election. The results showed that the three candidate pairs carried various visions, such as infrastructure development, education, and community economic development. The voter participation rate reached 74%, with 95.13% of valid votes. Despite some technical obstacles, such as a lack of understanding of the correct voting procedures, the electoral process in Karangtengah Sub-district, specifically at polling station 2 in Sukamantri Village, went smoothly and reflected the principles of healthy local democracy. This research also highlights the importance of the election committee's active role in maintaining a smooth process, as well as the need for better political education to increase public awareness and participation. Overall, high public participation and transparency of the electoral process are important factors that need to be improved to support the quality of democracy in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the scientific publication of students through the continuum academic writing project on higher education policy in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach with a field study method. The results and discussion of the study indicate that the continuum academic writing project plays an effective role because there is a continuous time allocation in leveraging student scientific publications even though it has not been accommodated in higher education policy in Indonesia. This study concludes that student scientific publications through the implementation of the continuum academic writing project will be more effective if they receive policy accommodation from higher education regulations in Indonesia. This study recommends that professionals support the continuum academic writing project in Indonesian higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct literacy on the Matoa tree planting movement policy throughout Indonesia for the purpose of socialization. This study uses a qualitative approach by implementing a policy literacy study. The results of the study and discussion show that the policy on the Matoa tree planting movement is an implementation of an ecotheological program that integrates religious values ​​and environmental conservation. This policy is a model for environmental sustainability efforts based on religious participation by contributing to maintaining ecosystem balance and mitigating climate change. This study concludes that the tree planting movement is understood as a manifestation of moral and spiritual responsibility in maintaining the ecosystem sustainably as a National movement that brings long-term benefits to future generations in Indonesia.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat, khususnya dalam bidang Artificial Intelligence (AI), berdampak cukup besar terhadap berbagai sektor, terutama dunia pendidikan. Untuk itu, maka visi transformasional kepemimpinan di lembaga pendidikan Islam menjadi sangat menarik untuk dikaji dan diteliti. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggali tantangan dan kekuatan yang dihadapi oleh para pemimpin lembaga pendidikan Islam, terutama dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi AI ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan beberapa orang responden terdiri dari unsur pimpinan, guru dan siswa SMP Al-Azhar Syifa Budi Prahyangan Bandung Barat. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), kuesioner, dan observasi langsung. Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik, di mana tema-tema kunci seperti tantangan dan kekuatan pemimpin diidentifikasi dari data. Selain itu, penelitian ini menerapkan triangulasi data untuk memperkuat validitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan utama adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang perkembangan teknologi saat ini, resistensi terhadap perubahan, dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Namun, di balik tantangan tersebut, terdapat kekuatan yang dapat dijadikan landasan oleh para pemimpin lembaga, termasuk kemampuan beradaptasi serta visi kepemimpinan yang transformatif, sehingga memungkinkan pemanfaatan AI sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan pendidikan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi para pemimpin lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan di era AI, serta menekankan pentingnya transformasi kepemimpinan yang inovatif dan responsif terhadap setiap perubahan yang terjadi.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of learning styles and students' critical thinking skills inachieving mathematics learning achievement. This research method is a secondary researchmethod through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. A total of ten journal articleswere analyzed to identify the relationship between learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic)and critical thinking skills with students' mathematics achievement. The results of the studyindicate that learning styles have a significant impact on mathematics learning achievement,where students who understand their learning styles tend to get better learning outcomes. Inaddition, critical thinking skills have also been shown to play an important role in improvingachievement, with students who have a high level of critical thinking being superior in solvingmathematics problems. This study recommends the development of learning methods thatpay attention to differences in individual learning styles and emphasize improving criticalthinking skills to improve student achievement.
