Gunung Djati Conference Series merupakan penyedia layanan publikasi dan konferensi berbagai bidang keilmuan yang diterbitkan oleh UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian. Penerbit ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan. Informasi mengenai pedoman penulisan artikel dan prosedur pengiriman artikel terdapat pada setiap penerbitan. Semua artikel yang masuk akan melalui ‘peer-review process’ setelah memenuhi persyaratan sesuai pedoman penulisan artikel, kemudian penerbit menyerahkan semua template ke pelaksana konferensi keilmuan. Penerbitan artikel ini dilakukan sesuai kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh penyelenggara konferensi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study more broadly related to This study aims to discuss contemporary issues of democracy that are relevant to the Qur'an. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method and maudhu'i interpretation. The formal object of this research is the science of the Al-Qur’an and contemporary issues, while the material object is verses in the Al-Qur’an about democracy. Democracy in the Al-Qur’an is something that is important and principled, because democracy is a form of deliberation that will produce an agreement, namely consensus. The Al-Qur’an has also explained what principles must exist in a democracy, namely in surat ash-Syuara', an-Nahl, al Hujurat, an-Nisa'. This is also in line with the principles of democracy in Indonesian state law, namely direct, responsible, honest and fair which is abbreviated as "luberjurdil". This type of qualitative approach is based on secondary data sources which are literature related to this research topic originating from journal articles, books, and others.

Abstract

This research is aimed at explaining issues related to religious moderation in the views and interpretations of the Qur'an. Using a library approach method by applying the descriptive-analytical method. The Qur'an and its interpretations are the formal object of this study, while the material object is the verses of the Qur'an using the maudhu'i interpretation method. The results and research show that there are several verses that are relevant to the issue of religious moderation, such as: (Q.S al-Baqoroh: 143, Q.S an-Nisa: 58). This study concludes that these verses are very relevant to existing problems, especially on the issue of religious moderation, and it is hoped that these verses can add insight, views, and information for us to solve problems regarding religious moderation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study more broadly related to Islam and Liberalism. This study used a qualitative method with data collection using the maudhu'i interpretation method. The formal object of research is about the science of interpretation. The material object is the interpretation of Q.S. Al-Baqarah verse 256, Q.S. Al-Isra verse 31, and Q.S. Ar-Rad verse 11. The results of the discussion of this study are that the verses studied using the maudhu'i interpretation method have a clear basis for explaining to the people and can be practiced. This research concludes that Q.S. Al-Baqarah verse 256, Q.S. Al-Isra verse 31, and Q.S. Ar-Rad verse 11 is relevant to be used as the foundation of Islam and liberalism.

Abstract

This article is about the Qur’an and feminism. In Islam, feminism is a movement that demands equal rights for men and women and seeks to eliminate gender roles and discrimination in society. The study uses qualitative methodology that uses descriptive-analysis techniques. The study focused on the verses of the Qur’an related to feminism and gender, and the results and discussions reached conclusions about feminism and sex from the perspective of the reinterpretation of those verses.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the hadith about corruption. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying a descriptive-analytical method. The formal object of this research is the science of hadith, while the material object is the hadith about corruption in the history of Abu Daud No. 3109. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the status of quality hadith hasan li ghairihi fulfills the qualifications of maqbul ma'mul bih for Islamic practice. This study concludes that the hadith narrated by Abu Daud no. 3109 is relevant to be used as motivation, fighting spirit, and lessons to eradicate corruption starting from the environment itself.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the hadith about morals. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying a descriptive-analytical method. The formal object of this research is the science of hadith, while the material object is the hadith about morality in the history of Ahmad No. 23460. The results and discussion of this study indicate that the status of quality hadith hasan li ghairihi meets the maqbul qualifications for Islamic practice. This study concludes that the hadith narrated by Ahmad No. 23460 is relevant as a basis for fostering the morals of the younger generation in the country.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the preservation of local culture as a form of effort to maintain the integrity of the nation. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying a descriptive-analytical method. The formal object of this research is hadith scholarship, while the material object is the hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad No. 3418 regarding maintenance of culture. The discussion of this research includes cultural development, cultural relations with Islam, and preservation of local culture ('urf) as an effort to maintain the integrity of the nation from a hadith perspective. The results of the discussion show that Rasulullah SAW. teaches the maintenance of 'urf (local culture) based on the hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad No. 3418, where 'urf is understood as a good habit that does not conflict with the essence of Islam. This study concludes that Islamic teachings regarding the preservation of local culture ('urf) play a major role as the basis for Muslims in efforts to protect the nation and state as a whole. This research is expected to have beneficial implications for enriching the treasures of Islamic knowledge, in particular it is hoped that it can become the basis for preserving local homeland culture in an effort to maintain the integrity of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss the hadith about the prohibition of making infidels their brothers and sisters without takwil. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying a descriptive-analytical method. The science of hadith is a formal object, while the material object is a hadith about infidels making their brothers non-believers without takwil in the history of Bukhari No. 5683. The results of the discussion of this study indicate that the status of this hadith is of the quality of shahih li dzatihi which fulfills all the qualifications for Islamic experience. This study concluded that the hadith narrated by Bukhari No. 5638 is relevant as an advice and law for people who disbelieve their brother.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss the role of women in transmitting hadith. By using a descriptive-analytical method, this research also uses a qualitative methodology. The formal object of this research is the science of hadith and the material object is the role of women in transmitting hadith. The results and discussion of this study indicate that women have played a role since the time of the Prophet Muhammad, in spreading Islamic knowledge, this shows the importance of women's position. This study came to the conclusion that one way for women to pass down hadith is in a way that reflects the principles of Islamic education. Aisyah r.a., one of the figures, who contributed to the hadith narration process which is very useful for understanding Islamic sciences.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss the hadiths about management. Through content analysis and library research, this research method is qualitative. This research concludes that the Al-Qur'an, sunnah, and ijma' of scholars teach a lot about life discipline. A real illustration of the management that regulates order can be seen in the implementation of prayer, which is considered the most important symbol in Islam. Hajj, fasting and other traditions are excellent forms of management. Of course, the four components (POAC) currently planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling have many verses in the Qur'an and hadith that explain them.
