Abstract

Development of production-based learning models carried out to seek validity, practicality and effectiveness in the application of technopreneur courses in universities. Production-based learning model is an alternative to develop students' skills, attitudes and knowledge that are relevant today. Research and development is used to test the validity of experts through Focus Group Discussions (FGD), then limited trials are carried out in the development of this production-based learning model. From the processes carried out, a new syntax development is produced which refers to the previous model syntax. The development of the syntax sequence is (1) an analysis of the curriculum and characteristics of students; (2) Product identification and analysis; (3) Make important questions about the product; (4) Question mapping; (5) analysis of equipment and materials needed for the product to be made; (6) create a business plan (7) product manufacturing process; (8) small-scale operations that include promotion and sales, (9). Summative evaluation; From the stages of the research carried out, the resulting Aiken's V value is 0.812 with a valid category, while the calculation of the Effectiveness value gets the results of 82.22 (effective) and Practicality of 89.33 (very practical). So it can be said that the production-based learning development model has validity, practicality and effectiveness values that meet the requirements, so it is feasible to apply.

Abstract

Partial discharge data collected from more than hundred-unit machines with rated voltages from 6.3 kV to 28 kV with air and gas hydrogen cooling systems machines. Analysis of partial discharge data was carried out for several machines that were failed in services or on machines where evidence of damages to the stator insulation were found due to partial discharge during a visual inspection or offline test results. This analysis suggests that the increasing trend of partial discharge within a certain period is a very important parameter to know that there is an insulation failure process that is happening to the motor and generator stator. It was found that the θ angle of increasing partial discharge values from 86° - 90° is a critical increase in partial discharges and needs to be followed up immediately. The θ angle of increasing trend is obtained from arctan (Y/X) where X is the time of increasing trend usually in month period and Y is partial discharge's value that increased in the X period in mV. It was also found that each failure mechanism that occurring have different pulse distribution characteristics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the organizational communication aspect of a community organization, Forum Betawi Rempug (FBR), and to reveal the interaction patterns and dynamics of various fantasies of dramatically exchanged symbols. Organizational communication can be defined as the process of creating and exchanging messages in a network of interdependent relationships to cope with an uncertain or changing environment. This research approach uses a subjectivist in the interpretive category. This study uses a qualitative method by using a Symbolic Convergence approach which is subjectivist. The results show that the dynamics of sharing fantasy patterns on the theme of leadership and Betawi figures of FBR community organization depart from the rhetorical vision of the issue of the revival of Betawi in the past, the era before the formation of the State and long before the Dutch colonial era existed. Betawi is a culture that is noble and needs to be fought for. In the organization’s context, FBR is a forum for the struggle to unite the Betawi people by evoking Betawi cultural values and the struggle for the Betawi people’s lives. From the narrative analysis of the FBR community organization, the present storytellers are the leaders in the ranks of the FBR. The latter is considered the primary source of information for delivering the message of the existing dramatic stories. The meaning of leadership in a metaphorical context often gives rise to stories of Betawi’s character and leadership as village guards in the sense of an essential struggle that contains sincerity and loyalty to the area where they live.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of science in grade IV elementary school. The learning process still uses conventional methods which can cause students to be less directly involved in direct practical activities and active discussion during learning. It is necessary to apply the Hands On Activity approach in the application of the PODE model to improve students' science process skills. The purpose of this study was to analyze the science process skills in Hands On Activity in the application of the PODE learning model in elementary schools. This type of research is a Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study amounted to 60 fourth grade students. Data collection techniques using observation sheets, indicators of science process skills consist of observing, classifying, experimenting, communicating and concluding. Data analysis used simple and multiple linear regression test. The results showed that the science process skills of the experimental class applying Hands on Activity and the PODE model were 76.4% and 61.2%, while the PODE model control class had an effect of 50.7%. The results of multiple linear tests obtained results of 76.5%, the results of Sig. Simultaneous effect test is 0.000 < 0.05 and Fcount 43.897 > Ftable 3.33, and it can be concluded that there is an effect of Hands on Activity (X1) and PODE model (X2) simultaneously on science process skills.

Abstract

Insurance that has just emerged at this contemporary stage, its quality causes mixed understanding among researchers. There are several researchers who prohibit insurance, including Yusuf al-Qardawi who blocks existing insurance, especially life insurance. Yusuf al-Qardawi forbade insurance on the grounds that according to him insurance is far from the idea of exchange and solidarity with the association. Whereas in life insurance, basically it is very possible to say that it is a broken understanding. The explanation is because between the two meetings there is a common desire and currently realizes that the strengths of each are not solid. Insurance in Yusuf al-Qardawi's view is that Islam does not recognize the current type of insurance with every implementation, it does not mean that Islam is against insurance as a whole, not in any way, what Islam opposes is part of its implementation practice. According to Abdul Wahaf Khalaf, insurance takes any form and can benefit the local community as long as there is no usury, the law is halal or allowed in Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The church as a non-profit organization also deals with financial management because it gets resources to carry out its operations in the form of donations from the congregation and donors. Therefore, the church needs to implement good financial management through financial reporting according to the Interpretation of Financial Accounting Standards (ISAK) No. 35. in financial management so as to provide accurate information on financial position, performance, and cash flows as material for evaluation and making appropriate decisions. Through a joint decision with the GMIT Churches in Indonesia in the annual synod meeting, it has been recommended to carry out financial reporting according to applicable standards, but in the realization the implementation is still in the stage of revamping and preparing Human Resources as managers and readiness of financial data information. This study aims to analyze the implementation of ISAK 35 in financial reporting at the GMIT church in Indonesia. The method used is qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of the research is that GMIT churches in Indonesia have not implemented financial reporting according to ISAK Standard No. 35 because the church is still in the process of administrative reform and updating of church asset data and the church has limited human resources for managing church finances. By conducting training in the form of socialization and the practice of preparing financial reports, it will help the church overcome church problems and obstacles in carrying out financial reporting according to financial standards.
