Abstract

This research examined the implementation of a management information system using digital madrasah report cards at MTs Muhammadiyah Malino, focusing on three main aspects: how the system was implemented, the supporting and hindering factors, and its impact. This qualitative study employed observation, documentation, and interviews with the head of the madrasah, the vice principal for curriculum, the operator, class advisers, and educators. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicated that the implementation of this system was relatively successful in both planning and execution. The head of the madrasah conducted socialization sessions, and the operator received district- and provincial-level training before implementation. During execution, administrative staff assisted teachers in overcoming difficulties, and system usage was scheduled in turns to minimize server issues. Key supporting factors included the availability of computers that met the system’s requirements and a stable internet connection. This study recommends that the Ministry of Religious Affairs improve the digital madrasah report card application to facilitate student and parent access. The madrasah head and operator should ensure adequate training for teachers in managing educational digitalization. Additionally, infrastructure support and human resource readiness must be strengthened to optimize the system’s implementation.

Abstract

Given the potential gap between Company organizational capacity and the anticipated workload required to implement programs, this study was conducted to answer how can literacy culture be integrated to strengthen Knowledge Management practices, and what solutions can be proposed to strengthen Knowledge Management practices through literacy culture. A qualitative research approach was employed, combining semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders and secondary data analysis. The study utilizes Design Thinking to capture employee perspectives and expectations in KM, also extract the insight from former Company Top Leader regarding the use of the narrative success story framework in leadership assessment. The study found the clear understanding of needs and the requirements of alternative solution to be developed. Based on these findings, a complementary KM platform was developed using the Six Sigma DMADV framework, resulting in the creation of proposed digital KM platform for narrative writing and knowledge sharing. The platform incorporates structured writing guidance, competency-based knowledge categorization, and an intuitive user interface to enhance accessibility and engagement. The proposed platform provides a structured yet flexible KM environment that fosters collaboration and continuous learning. This study contributes to KM research by offering a novel approach to KM enhancement through the integration of literate culture in form of narrative success stories and competency-based categorization. It provides actionable recommendations for organizations seeking to improve KM effectiveness in dynamic business environments.

Abstract

The construction industry is undergoing significant transformations due to economic, technological, and market factors. PT ABC, a subsidiary of DEF, specializes in innovative and sustainable construction solutions. The company faces challenges due to its heavy reliance on the Local Government Infrastructure Institution , which contributes over 70% of its revenue. Additionally, government regulations favoring Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have intensified competition, necessitating strategic innovation. To maintain competitiveness, ABC is exploring two business solutions: soil stabilization and concrete repair. This research aims to compare these business models, determine the most suitable solution for the Local Government Infrastructure Institution , and develop an effective business development strategy. The study employs qualitative methods, including VRIO, SWOT, and TOWS analysis, as well as the Business Model Canvas framework. The findings suggest that soil stabilization offers higher market potential due to its cost efficiency and alignment with government priorities for sustainable infrastructure. The study provides strategic recommendations for ABC to enhance its market position through innovation, operational efficiency, and strengthened client relationships.

Abstract

Based on Law No.43 of 2008, guarding and monitoring the coastline of Indonesia is very important, because it is closely related to the boundaries of the sea area that needs to be regulated for national defense. In the sea area, Navigational Aids (SBNP) type of beacon signs are used as a sign of state boundaries which have been regulated in Permenhub No.25 of 2011. In Indonesia, the beacon building in the waters of Gosong Pasir, Riau Province, experienced two collapses within 12 years. Therefore, this study examines more deeply and provides solutions to structural strength, cathodic protection, and mechanical electrical structures. The data used in this study are bathymetry data, underwater image data, sub bottom profile data, tide data, current data, and sediment sample data. Hydrodynamic modeling is carried out to obtain platform elevation and cycle time results. Furthermore, for corrosion problems, ASTM A252 Grade B and ASTM A53 Grade B steel pipes are proposed with Flush-Mounted Aluminum Anode cathodic protection with a trapezoidal cross section and coating process.

Abstract

A Morel-Lavallée Lesion (MLL) is a soft tissue injury caused by the sudden detachment of the skin and subcutaneous tissue from the underlying fascia, resulting in a closed degloving injury. It is often complicated by chronic osteomyelitis, which can present diagnostic challenges. We report a case of a 36-year-old male patient who developed an MLL with chronic osteomyelitis, initially mimicking gynecomastia. The patient presented with a mass in the chest area months after trauma, and clinical examination was inconclusive, with a history of diabetes mellitus and the lesion's proximity to the breast tissue complicating the differential diagnosis and raising suspicion for gynecomastia. However, a CT scan of the thorax revealed a MLL with underlying bone involvement, indicating chronic osteomyelitis. This case highlights the diagnostic challenges when typical findings may be misleading, emphasizing the need for comprehensive imaging and clinical correlation for accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to produce steamed brownies with antioxidant content using local ingredients, specifically kluwak seed powder, purple sweet potato pastes, and banana paste, which offer health benefits. The research stages include product development, treatment response determination through antioxidant capacity analysis (DPPH method), hedonic rating, and texture analysis. Determination of the optimum formulation was conducted using Design Expert 13 software. The optimum formulation was achieved with the use of 4.5% kluwak seed powder and 27.5% purple sweet potato paste from the total ingredients. Antioxidant capacity of the steamed brownies possess high antioxidant activity, but it decreased from the pre-digestion phase to the gastric and intestinal phase. This study indicated that the steamed brownies can be utilized as a functional food product with health benefits.

Abstract

Intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence are essential soft skills for students, playing a crucial role in helping them navigate academic and social challenges while developing personal qualities necessary for success in the workplace. These intelligences are vital for graduates, enabling them to interact effectively with colleagues, superiors, and clients, as well as manage themselves in a dynamic work environment. This study aims to analyze the intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence and intrinsic motivation of students majoring in Business Administration at Manado State Polytechnic using a descriptive research method. The study population consists of 108 students from the D3 Business Administration program, and a census sampling technique was applied due to the relatively small population size. The findings indicate that respondents' perceptions of intrapersonal intelligence are categorized as high or good, with most indicators rated positively except for the independence indicator, which falls into the moderate category. Similarly, respondents' perceptions of interpersonal intelligence are classified as high or very good. Additionally, the average perception of intrinsic motivation is also categorized as high or very good, with both indicators and statement items receiving very good ratings.
