Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of developing the ability to operate numbers, add and social-emotional skills in early childhood which is still not optimal. Initial observations at Bintang Kecil Kindergarten show that mathematics learning is still conventional and lacks integration of social-emotional aspects in the process. This class action research was carried out in two cycles with the research subjects of six children in group B. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data was collected through observation, documentation, and interviews with school principals, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results showed a significant increase in the operation ability of the sum number from the average TCP of 21.5 (44.79%) in the first cycle to 37.5 (78.13%) in the second cycle. Social-emotional skills also increased from an average TCP of 21.5 (44.79%) to 37.33 (77.77%). Improvements were seen in all aspects measured, including understanding the concept of addition using money, the use of mathematical symbols, as well as self-expression and collaboration in play activities. The application of creative play methods has proven to be effective in improving both aspects of child development simultaneously. These findings imply the importance of an integrated learning approach that integrates cognitive and social-emotional development through meaningful play activities.

Abstract

The nickel mining sector in Indonesia has shown tremendous growth due to increasing global demand for nickel ore. Over the five years to 2022, production from Indonesia increased by a CAGR of 24% and is expected to rise by a CAGR of 13% between 2023 and 2027. Mining activity is strongly related to the use of analyzing equipment to analyze what kind of element that consists in the nickel ore. The equipment is called XRF or X-Ray Fluorescence. However, this opportunity may also be used by the competitors. There are approximately 4 XRF distributor companies, each company carries different brands of XRF. PT Rindu Makmur is authorized distributor of Vasilon 4 XRF in Indonesia, currently experiencing stagnancy of XRF unit sold, while from 2021 to 2024 there are only 30 units sold meanwhile the nickel mining companies always increasing until 470 companies in 2024. In the midst of increasingly fierce competition with competitors, PT Rindu Makmur must implement new marketing strategies to strengthen its position and increase sales of the XRF Vasilon. In this study the authors analyzed what are the new marketing strategies, the new 7P’s of marketing mix and what are the implementation plans of the new marketing strategies. Those strategies in this study were first analyzed based on internal analysis, external analysis and then determining marketing strategy analysis with SWOT Analysis and TOWS analysis. After that the author also gives the recommendation for further analysis and to PT Rindu Makmur.

Abstract

Competition tests athletes by demanding peak performance under pressure from both their environment and themselves, aiming for victory. One common challenge they face is Competitive Anxiety, a response to perceived threats in competitive situations, leading to worry or stress (Martens, 1977). The ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) is the highest-level competition for Indonesian Army marksmen. This study examines the effectiveness of the Mental Imagery Technique in reducing competitive anxiety among female AARM athletes. This cognitive-based intervention uses mental visualization of past experiences to enhance performance. Using an experimental one-group pretest-posttest design, the study involved five participants (n=5), with data analyzed through a Paired T-Test. Results showed a significant reduction in Competitive Anxiety scores post-intervention (Asymp. sig 0.000 < 0.05). N-Gain scores indicated moderate effectiveness for two respondents (-69% and -60%) and high effectiveness for three respondents (>76%). These findings confirm that the Mental Imagery Technique effectively reduces competitive anxiety in female pistol shooters at AARM. This study suggests that mental imagery is a valuable psychological strategy for managing anxiety in high-pressure sports, particularly for female athletes in precision disciplines like shooting.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the New Student Admission (PPDB) policy at the elementary school level in Denpasar City. The results show that the implementation of PPDB is not optimal, influenced by two main factors: the content of the policy and the implementation environment. Although the government has designed policies involving various elements, the capacity of primary schools is insufficient to accommodate the enthusiasm of parents. In addition, social factors and compliance of implementers are also challenges in the implementation of policies. This research is expected to provide recommendations for policy makers to increase the effectiveness of PPDB in the future.

Abstract

Exchange rate fluctuations are one of the main risks affecting the financial stability of multinational companies, including the digital banking sector in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the impact of exchange rate fluctuations on the company's financial performance by using a case study on Bank BNI Digital. The financial data used covers the period January 2015 to December 2024, including variables such as exchange rate (IDR/USD), revenue, operating expenses, net profit, equity, liabilities, and exchange rate volatility. A machine learning-based predictive approach was applied through the Random Forest and XGBoost algorithms to evaluate the relationship between exchange rate fluctuations and the company's financial performance. The results showed that exchange rate fluctuations have a weak linear relationship with financial performance, especially company revenue, with a correlation coefficient of 0.01. Nevertheless, the simulation of the impact of the exchange rate on net profit shows that the company is able to maintain financial stability in a scenario of moderate exchange rate changes (±15%). The feature importance analysis of the XGBoost model shows that revenue and operating expenses are the dominant factors affecting financial performance, while exchange rates contribute less. Based on these findings, the study recommends the implementation of forward contracts to manage exchange rate risk, natural hedging strategies to balance currency exposure, and optimization of operational efficiency as a risk mitigation measure. This research provides strategic insights for Bank BNI Digital and similar companies in designing a resilient risk management strategy against exchange rate fluctuations in the global market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of film trailer attributes and digital marketing communication on the intention to watch movies in cinemas in Indonesia, by considering the role of attention mediation and attitude/elaboration based on the theoretical approach of Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) and Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM). The research method used a quantitative approach with an online survey of 284 respondents who were used to watching movies in cinemas. The results showed that third-party designations (such as reviews and recommendations) significantly affected the audience's attention and attitudes/elaborations, while the film's official social media activity had no significant effect on attitudes. The trailer attributes have also been shown to have a positive effect on attitudes/elaboration. Attitude/elaboration is the strongest predictor of ticket purchase intention. These findings effectively integrate SOR and ELM theories, confirming the importance of peripheral paths through third parties and trailer quality in film marketing strategies.

Abstract

In this study, various models of deep convolutional artificial neural networks (CNNs) were explored to address the critical need for timely identification and prevention of plant diseases. Traditional CNN architectures generally involve high computational costs because they have a large number of parameters. To address this, the modified approach replaces standard convolutions with separable convolution, lowering the number of parameters and computational requirements. The models were trained on diverse datasets that included several plant species and disease classes. Evaluation of the model with different parameters such as batch size and dropout achieved impressive levels of disease classification accuracy: InceptionV3, InceptionResNetV2, MobileNetV2, and Effi- cientNetB0 recorded consecutive accuracy rates of 98.42%, 99.11%, 97.02%, and 99.56%, surpassing the handmade feature-based methods. In addition, G-ResNet50, a proposed model derived from ResNet50, enriched with focal loss, was introduced specifically for the identification of diseases in strawberries. Trained with an extended dataset through various operations, G-ResNet50 exhibits faster convergence and a much higher accuracy rate (98.67%) compared to VGG16, ResNet50, In- ceptionV3, and MobileNetV2. The G-ResNet50 model demonstrates high robustness, stability and recognition accuracy, presenting a practical solution for real-time detection and classification of strawberry diseases, which is essential for agricultural efficiency and productivity.
