Abstract

One option that has the potential to be applied to road roughness is the reuse of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) material. RAP material can be reused by adding new asphalt and aggregate in accordance with the composition of the mixture so that it is expected to obtain the quality as planned. One of the efforts made to improve the quality of the RAP asphalt mixture is to use modified asphalt with additional material in the form of styrofoam. The use of styrofoam in asphalt is expected to improve the technical properties of a mixture. This research was conducted with variations in asphalt content of 5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5%, and 7%. bitumen content obtained from extraction is 6.28%, and the use of RAP is 30%. Next, make specimens for the standard marshall test at variations in Styrofoam levels of 0%, 6.5%, 6.75% and 7% on each KAA and the KAO value is 6.75% of the weight of the test object. The results of the Marshall test showed the optimum stability value for adding that the effective percentage of Styrofoam was found in a mixture of 7% Styrofoam, which was 4181 kg with an increase of 4,700 from a mixture of laston without Styrofoam addition. The flow value is 2.76 mm, while the Marshall Quotient (MQ) value has increased compared to without the use of Styrofoam with a value of 1.513. From the results of mixed analysis using RAP with the addition of optimum Styrofoam, it can improve the performance of the laston AC-WC mixture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether the combination of play therapy and speech therapy effectively affects the behavioral development of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This study uses a quantitative method with the population in this study are all children with autism who are regular visitors of speech therapy at NU_Kids Integrated Therapy 1 and 2. The collection of samples in this study used purposive sampling method. The results showed that most of the children who were given treatment only with speech therapy (Group I) had severe autism, namely 11 people (68.8%) then most of the children who were given combination treatment, namely combined speech therapy with play therapy (flash cards and puzzles). ) (Group II) also experienced severe autism, namely 9 people (56.3%). This shows that children with severe autism really need speech therapy to deal with the behavior disorders they experience.

Abstract

This study examined the contribution of women's government heads to gender-responsive policies at the local level. It was carried out due to the increase in the number of women leaders in various countries as heads of government at the national and local levels in the 21st century, which contributed to the realization of gender-responsive policies. This paper argues that the social capital owned by women regional heads contributes to realizing gender-responsive policies. This study was carried out using the focus group discussions (FGD) methodology, with data collected from 19 key informants through in-depth interviews and documents. The result showed that the success of women regional heads in realizing gender-responsive policies is influenced by their social capital in the form of material capital, access to information with organizations and public officials, and the provision of a network capital that is bonding, bridging, and linking. Furthermore, there are other factors, namely personal capacity related to knowledge and understanding of gender-responsive policies, involvement and experience of women regional heads in organization activities, and support politics of the regional parliament/DPRD. This study provides insight for women willing to advance in the election contestation process by considering their previous experience and involvement in political activities as essential factors in realizing gender-responsive policies.

Abstract

The adoption of adopted children in the Toba Batak community is carried out in an open and cash way. The main reason in the Toba Batak community is the absence of descendants. The indigenous Batak Toba community itself adheres to a patrilineal system that is based on male/father lineage. The requirements for adopting children by the Toba Batak indigenous people are carried out according to the customs of the indigenous people, by carrying out a traditional ceremony "dirajahon" in front of dalihan na tolu, traditional leaders / leaders, and local indigenous people by giving ulos parompa (carpet) and dekke sitio. tio (carp) as evidence of an inauguration in the process of the traditional ceremony. The position of an adopted child is basically legal to become an heir and his rights are equal to the position of a biological child, because according to the customary inheritance law of the Toba Batak with evidence of the existence of the traditional ceremony, an adopted child is legally the heir of his adoptive parents himself, without the need for tools. evidence as well as a deed. Adopted children have the right to joint property and inheritance from their adoptive parents

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) collected stunting data showing that Indonesia is one of the three countries with the highest prevalence in the South-East Asia Region (SEAR). Health problems that affect infants are stunting or short stature due to chronic malnutrition where malnutrition is a global problem, including in Indonesia. This research is an analytic observational study with a case control study. The design was carried out at the Titi Papan Health Center, Mabar Hilir District, Medan Deli Regency in 2021 to analyze the influence of risk factors on stunting events with a sample of 88 children under five, 44 cases and 44 controls, sampling was carried out purposively where cases and controls were taken in one population. Data were obtained from Puskesmas, Medan City Health Office, observations, direct interviews with respondents using questionnaires. The results of the study concluded that the most influential variable on the incidence of stunting was family income (p = 0.000, Exp(B) = 9.208). Factors that significantly influence the incidence of stunting are birth weight (p = 0.001, OR = 2.375), education (p = 0.001, OR = 6.923), family income (p = 0.000, OR = 15.857), availability of clean water facilities . (p = 0.000, OR = 9.643), family latrine facilities (p = 0.001, OR = 2.333), sewerage ownership (p = 0.000), OR = 0.405. The need for intensive counseling by health workers regarding factors related to stunting, to increase public awareness to change bad habits that are contrary to health and can cause stunting in toddlers.

Abstract

Air transmission lines generally use ACSR type conductors. As the demand for electrical energy increases, the effort to increase the capacity of the transmission line is carried out by optimizing the current-carrying capacity of the existing transmission line, but the problem that arises in this optimization is the increase in the voltage and slope of the conductor. This study aims to determine the effect of line current instability on conductor temperature, conductor slope, slope angle and conductor voltage, which is then useful for the construction of transmission line construction structures in accordance with the mechanical properties of the conductors used. This study uses the calculation of the heat balance equation. to calculate the conductor temperature. The Basic Span Length method is used to determine the equivalent span length

The sample used is 1 7 people selected by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the category of depression before being given assertive behavior treatment mostly in the moderate depression as many as 1 1 people (64.7%), and after being given assertive behavior showed that a decrease in the number of moderate depression to be 9 people ( 52.9 %). The results of this study were tested by paired-sample t-test statistic, the results obtained value (р) = 0.01 5 . The conclusion of research is assertive behavior can decrease the level of depression in patients with diabetes mellitus.
