Abstract

Plastic is one of the most widely used raw materials for a product. Human life cannot be separated from products or equipment made from plastic. Company X often has problems with the quality of the products produced, especially valve products as products that are produced every day. The corrective step used to assist Company X in improving the quality of valve products is the application of the PDCA method. PDCA method consists of the plan, do, check, and act stages. The proposed improvement design was carried out based on the results of data processing and obtained as many as 9 proposed improvements. In the do stage, implementation of the proposed improvements that have been designed is carried out, five proposed improvements can be implemented and the other four in the form of recommendations. Next is the check stage, which is the process of collecting data again on the results of the implementation of the proposed improvement. Based on the results of the check stage, a standardization process was carried out at the act stage to improve the performance of the proposed improvement and the quality of the valve product. Standardization is done by changing or improving the proposed improvements that have been implemented. Research has succeeded in reducing the number of defective valve products with the proportion of defects that were previously 1.16% to 0.57%.

Abstract

This study compiles a cultural heritage index that can be used as a measure of the company's attention to cultural heritage which can be seen from the disclosure of financial statements. From the results of the literature review, the matrix creation carried out, and the forum group discussions held with stakeholders, 19 items of the Cultural Heritage disclosure index were obtained. the average importance of Cultural Heritage Disclosure to be disclosed according to stakeholders was very high as indicated by the mean of each item of 5.26% from the total maximum of 5.49% and a minimum of 5.02%. This implies that the mean of each item of Cultural Heritage Disclosure according to stakeholders is equally important. This is also corroborated by the overall mean of demand for Cultural Heritage disclosure according to stakeholders of 6.22 on a Likert 7 scale. Compliance with law items (item related to the company's level of compliance with regulations of cultural heritage) occupied the highest weighted index, while incidents and fines items were the lowest weighted index

Abstract

Kerta Buana Village, became the location for transmigrants from Bali, Lombok (NTB) and a few local transmigrants in 1980. This village later grew to become part of the main rice granary area of Kutai Kartanegara Regency, as well as being known as the Bali Village of East Kalimantan. Kerta Buana is also known as the Pancasila Village, because of the harmony of the villagers with the background of 2 different dominant religions, Balinese transmigrants are Hindu and Lombok Muslim transmigrants. However, at present Kerta Buana Village has suffered severe damage to life, has changed its face into a village surrounded by coal mines, surrounded by 14 mining pits, agricultural productivity is low and a class of farmers without rice fields has emerged. This article analyzes how a transmigrant village that was once known as part of the district's food barn has now turned into a village surrounded by mining. Data was collected by in-depth observation, in-depth interviews with 16 key informants from each transmigrant group and repeated focus group interviews. Antonio Gramsci's concept of hegemony is used to explain how company power builds historical blocks, hegemony villagers with extractive economic ideology so that villagers agree to massive coal exploration around the village. The results show that companies use corporate and government institutions, community leaders, security forces and even local communities to lead transmigrants to obey the

Abstract

Dry skin is a problem for millions of people and often causes discomfort and even psychological stress. Increasing the water content in the stratum corneum can be done by applying moisturizer regularly and regularly because it will improve lipid levels and hydrate the epidermis. Saccharide isomers (SI) are one of the answers for the development of Glycobiology. The hypothesis of this study is that the addition of 5% SI in the moisturizing formulation further increases skin hydration and can maintain higher skin hydration even after discontinuation of use compared to ordinary moisturizers. The research subjects were 30 women aged 30-45 years who were not menopausal. Randomly divided into control group (15 people) and treatment group (15 people) by double blind. Moisturizer used for 2 weeks in a row, then discontinued use. Measurement of skin hydration was carried out 3 times a week during the use of moisturizer and after discontinuation. The non-invasive measuring instrument used is the Multi Skin Test Center® MC 750 made in Germany. Giving moisturizer in both groups resulted in an increase in skin hydration after 2 weeks of use (p<0.05). After discontinuation of the moisturizer, the four locations showed significant differences in skin hydration (p<0.05). From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the addition of 5% SI in the moisturizing formulation can increase skin hydration higher and can maintain higher skin hydration even after discontinuation of administration compared to ordinary moisturizers.
