Abstract

This research discusses implementing digital-based political education and nationalism-building strategies for the younger generation in Indonesia's nation-building context. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach. The study highlight the importance of political education as a vital instrument in strengthening political awareness and digital literacy in society. Challenges such as low political awareness and the spread of hoaxes affect the effectiveness of digital-based political education. The proposed strategies, such as curating relevant content, active participation in social media, online training, collaboration with figures and influencers, and civic projects, can help overcome these challenges. Periodic evaluations are needed to assess the effectiveness of strategies and tactics. By combining creative approaches in digital-based political education and focusing on building nationalistic character in the younger generation, this research shows great potential to increase political participation and strengthen national identity among the younger generation.

Abstract

The Social Security Agency for Employment as social protection insurance for all workers in Indonesia has five main products. Each BPJS employment product has benefits and advantages for its participants. This research method is qualitative, namely by describing and analyzing data that has been obtained through data collection techniques of interviews, and literature study which is then explained in the form of detailed and systematic explanations. The results of this research show that based on the country typology formulated by Titmus, following the benefits facilitation provided by BPJS employment. The first point is realized with death benefits, work accident benefits, and old age benefits which provide protection benefits to workers when they can´t carry out work when sick, providing compensation and scholarships to families who have lost their source of livelihood, and several other benefits.

Abstract

Indonesia's natural landscape of land and sea is a very abundant energy resource. Indonesia has enormous opportunities because of its gift of natural resources, which can be used as renewable energy sources. This study comes from secondary data to support arguments, and data collection uses library research by collecting material from books, journals, laws and regulations, and other literature. The data analysis technique uses descriptive language by describing the data, which is then analyzed to describe an explanation of the data. This research explains the potential of Indonesia's energy resources, especially renewable energy, and the politics of Indonesia's renewable energy policy, which targets an energy mix of 44% by 2030. This research concludes that renewable energy policy has obstacles, including weak control. Renewable energy resource exploration technology, expensive machines for exploring energy resources, and the formulation of laws related to new renewable energy have not yet become a priority.

Abstract

The welfare of the community is something that a country needs to achieve. The economy and social life reflect the welfare of the community. To improve people's welfare, the Government needs to optimize a series of fiscal policy instruments to achieve this goal. This study seeks to see the effect of fiscal policy instruments in the expenditure sector to improve people's welfare with the HDI as a measure of community welfare. Using the quantitative descriptive method, the researcher attempts to see the effect of housing and community amenities, health, and education expenditure on the Indonesian HDI in 2010-2021. Using multiple linear regression analysis, it is found that 2010-2021, Housing and Community Amenities Expenditure, Health Expenditure, and Education Expenditure had a positive and significant impact on the Indonesian HDI. Researcher recommends the Government to increase the budget allocation for the three sectors.

Abstract

Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) telah ditetapkan sebagai Ibu Kota Negara yang baru oleh Presiden Joko Widodo pada 2019. Namun penetapan ini terbentur dengan rencana pemindahan Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) dari Pemerintah Pusat. Di satu sisi sebagian besar ASN Pusat masih enggan berpindah dikarnakan belum tersedianya infrastruktur yang memadai dan di sisi lain terdapat pertentangan dari warga lokal yang menolak relokasi. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan tinjauan deskriptif terhadap peran Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN) Lokal dalam menyiapkan calon ASN untuk IKN dengan mengambil studi kasus Universitas Mulawarman (UNMUL). Penelitian ini merupakan kombinasi antara penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang berjenis studi kasus (case study) dan penelitian hukum empiris. Temuan yang diperoleh berupa kekhususan IKN sebagai Otorita dalam memberdayakan warga lokal menjadi ASN dan peran UNMUL sebagai jembatan yang menghubungkan antara kebutuhan ASN Otorita IKN dengan kesiapan warga lokal berdasarkan kompetensi yang dipersyaratkan.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu komponen utama pembangunan manusia di abad ke-21. Di era Presiden Joko Widodo, transformasi neoliberal dalam pendidikan tinggi semakin masif, terutama sejak diberlakukannya kebijakan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka oleh Menteri Nadiem Makarim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti dampak negatif Neoliberalisme pada institusi pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia dalam domain kebijakan, institusi, dan sumber daya manusia. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk memberikan penjelasan yang mendalam tentang aspek-aspek dan dampak Neoliberalisme Pendidikan Tinggi dengan sumber data dari studi pustaka dan teknik analisis kualitatif. Peneliti berargumen bahwa Neoliberalisme telah menjadi ideologi hegemonik yang memengaruhi kebijakan nasional dengan penekanan pada produktivitas dan daya saing untuk mengejar keuntungan ekonomi. Neoliberalisme mempengaruhi staf pengajar dengan berbagai tantangan dan tugas-tugas administratif. Di sisi lain, mahasiswa berfungsi sebagai konsumen pendidikan demi keuntungan pribadi. Oleh karena itu, Neoliberalisme telah mengabaikan tujuan tradisional pendidikan—mencari kebenaran, keadilan, dan demokrasi—dengan mengurangi pendidikan menjadi sekadar instrumen pertumbuhan ekonomi.
