Abstract

This study aims to identify land cover and analyze land cover changes in the Megawati Soekarnoputri Botanical Gardens area in 2010-2019. This research was conducted in December 2021-January 2022 at the Megawati Soekarnoputri Botanical Gardens, Southeast Minahasa and at the Forestry Science Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sam Ratulangi University, Manado. This study uses satellite image/ Digital Globe Imagery with visual interpretation methods or on-screen digitization. The results showed that there were 6 land cover classes: forest, developed, open land, agriculture, shrub, and water bodies. The land cover area resulting from the interpretation of satellite image in 2010 is 189,51 Ha of forest, 0,34 Ha of developed, 6,78 Ha of open land, 9,71 Ha of agriculture, 8,96 Ha of shrub and water bodies of 6,11 Ha. The land cover area from the interpretation of satellite photos in 2019 is 185,79 Ha of forest, 0,57 Ha of developed, 6,02 Ha of open land, 12,40 Ha of agriculture, 8,71 Ha of shrub and water body 4,62 Ha. The results of the analysis of land cover changes showed that forested land cover from 2010 to 2019 in Megawati Soekarnoputri Botanical Gardens decreased by (0.22%), namely 0,22 Ha, so that forested land cover in 2019 had an area of 189,10 Ha and non-forest land cover 32,31 Ha.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the content of sulforaphane in several types of broccoli sprouts. (2) Knowing the difference in sulforaphane content in the combination of NAA, BAP and types of broccoli grown on MS media; (3) knowing the difference in sulforaphane content in the combination of NAA and types of broccoli sprouts grown on MS media; (4) knowing the difference in sulforaphane content in the combination of BAP and the type of broccoli sprouts grown on MS media. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) arranged in a factorial manner, namely factor A: NAA 0, 0,5, and 1 ppm. B: BAP 0, 1, 2 ppm and C : 2 Types of Broccoli. The variables observed were: germination time, germination weight, and sulforaphane content. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance and continued with the 5% BNT test. The results showed that germination time began to appear on day 3 and all seeds germinated. Sprout weight varied greatly, and the combination of treatments N1, B0 and BR2 gave the highest average weight and calculated concentration (ENT) of sulforaphane, followed by treatments N0B2BR2 and N0,5B0BR1.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of work quality and monitoring on employee performance in the Personnel and Training Agency of South Minahasa Regency. This research uses quantitative research methods. In this study, there are two variables, namely the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y) where the independent variable (independent) is the quality of work and supervision and the dependent variable (dependent) in this study is employee performance. The data analysis carried out in this study was instrument test, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that the quality of work, supervision, and both simultaneously affect the performance of employees at the Personnel and Training Agency of South Minahasa Regency. Through the determination test, it was found that the effect of work quality and supervision was 52.6%, the remaining 47.4% was explained by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of BAP on the growth and morphogenesis of Kulo Chrysanthemum with shoot and node explants by in vitro. This research was conducted from July to March 2021 at the Network Culture Laboratory of the Agriculture and Fisheries Service of Tomohon City. This study used a factorial completely randomized design (CRD), namely explant type factors consisting of shoot and node explants and BAP concentration factors were 0 mg/l, 0.5 mg/l, 1 mg/l, and 1.5 mg. /l so that there were 8 treatment combinations and each treatment was repeated 5 times resulting in 40 research units and one unit containing one explant. The results of this study showed that the interaction between explant type and BAP concentration had no significant effect on plantlet height, number of shoots, number of leaves, time of root formation (DAP), and time of shoot formation (DAP). Treatment The type of shoot and node explants had no significant effect on plantlet height, number of shoots, number of leaves, time of root formation (DAP) and time of shoot formation (DAP). The concentration of BAP had a significant effect on plantlet height, number of shoots, number of leaves, time of root formation (DAP) but had no significant effect on time of shoot formation (DAP).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the pre-employment card program in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic at the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of North Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted from October to December 2021. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that the achievement of the goals of the pre-employment card program in North Sulawesi was in great demand by the community as evidenced by the interest of the participants. The pre-employment card program can overcome employment problems in Indonesia as evidenced by the decline in the unemployment rate based on BPS data in 2021. Integration, the pre-employment card program needs to be socialized in more detail, not just disseminating information on pre-employment registration but including technical steps to minimize obstacles that will be experienced by pre-employment card participants. The adaptation of the pre-employment card program has adapted to technological developments, with this program the community has more control over the use of digitization which is the need of every human being at this time. So it can be concluded that the pre-employment card program in North Sulawesi in terms of indicators of achieving goals, integration and adaptation shows that its implementation is quite effective in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic.
