Abstract

Transaction data owned by a store or supermarket every day is sure to increase, but it is often found that the transaction data is just stored and notused. This is what happened at the UD. Suryani store, where the existing transaction data has not been used properly, even though the collection of transaction data has the potential for information that can be processed to produce useful new knowledge. This transaction data processing can be done with data mining techniques. One of the data-mining techniques that can be used is the association rule method. One of the data retrievalalgorithms with association rules is the Apriori algorithm. This algorithm serves to determine the association relationship of a combination of itemsand is suitable to be applied when there are several item relationships to be analyzed. The purpose of this research is to apply data mining to the transaction data for the last one year in the UD. Suryani store. The data mining processing process is carried out with the rapidminer application and from nine trials with different combinations of minimum support and minimum confidence values for 13,490 transaction data, the results obtained are that the item most purchased by consumers is the Masako Sapi Renteng 10g with a support value of 14,5% and for items that are often purchasedtogether, if you buy Eggs and Blue Band 200g, you will buy Kompas Kemasan 1kg, with the highest confidence value of 66.5%.

Abstract

Tuah Madani Village has made the Waste Bank program as part of an effort to help improve the welfare of the community. With the existence of a waste bank, in addition to channelling waste money, the community can also generate savings from the waste that is deposited. The existence of a waste bank will make it easier for the village to collect data on areas that produce the amount of waste and require more attention in handling the waste. At this time the process of calculating community waste deposits by the waste bank is still done manually in a deposit book, as well as the grouping of areas that become waste producers is difficult to do because the recording of waste deposit data is only done in one book, where if the waste bank wants to alculate the waste deposit in an area, it must be done manually and one by one and then amount the deposit amount, of course it takes a long time and has a low level of accuracy. The purpose of this study is to implement the K-Means Clustering Algorithm in order to facilitate the process of grouping areas based on the type of waste generated by each neighbourhood unit/housing registered in the Tuah Madani village. Garbage bank applications can group categories based on data on waste deposits made by the community, and with this data it can help the village to coordinate janitors and waste transport fleets.

Abstract

Buying and selling is a process that involves sellers and buyers or consumers where transactions occur that result in the exchange of goods for money. The seller will try to sell the goods by getting the maximum profit possible, while the buyer will get the goods at the minimum possible cost. One of the places where buying and selling transactions are potential is a minimarket. Minimarkets provide a variety of goods that buyers need, but there are times when there are goods that are not in demand by buyers, causing losses to the minimarket. There is an association rule mining technique that can find links between one item and another. The purpose of this study is to provide product bundling recommendations in the form of combining two products with one price to optimize minimarket sales. The results of this study are a list of product recommendations that are included in product bundling.

Abstract

One of the uses of technology in education that supports the teaching and learning process is learning media through an Android-based smartphone. When it relates to learning English, smartphones can function as a tool to attract students' interest and related parties in learning grammar in English, especially parts of speech. The selection of parts of speech as content in this study is due to student’s understanding of the form of words, the meaning of words, and proper and correct usage. Therefore, to improve students' competence in English, it is necessary to build an Android-based application that is more attractive, practical, and full of knowledge in learning parts of speech as one of the strategies for learning English. This study aims to build an Android-based application that contains video, learning materials, exercises, and interactive tests made by a teacher. The method used for this research is System Development Life Cycle (SDLC); it refers to the model and process used to develop a software system and describes the process; where the developer accepts the move from problem to solution. The collection of data was done through an interview with related school parties and through observation. It was processed and analyzed, where the need of the users, in this case, are administrators, teachers, and students, are fulfilled. This application contains video, lesson material, exercise, and tests, where teachers, later on, are expected to be able to create the content on their own. and the students can learn anywhere. The lesson materials on the application can be viewed in 2 (two) ways; they are online and offline, intended to bring access to all students toward lesson materials by using a smartphone.

Abstract

Written communication in social media that emphasizes the speed of information dissemination, the phenomenon of using non-standard language often occurs at the level of sentences, clauses, phrases and words. As a source of data, social media with this phenomenon presents challenges in the process of extracting information. Normalization of non-standard language into standard language begins in the word normalization process where non-standard words (NSW) are normalized to standard forms (standard words (SW)). The normalization process using edit distance has limitations in the process of weighting the static mismatch, match, and gap values. In calculating the mismatch value, statida weighting cannot provide a weight difference due to incorrect keystrokes on the keyboard, especially adjacent keys. Due to the limited edit distance weighting, this research proposes a dynamic weighting method for mismatch weights. The result of this research is that there is a new method of dynamic weighting based on the position of the keyboard keys that can be used to normalize NSW using the approximate string matching method.

Abstract

Psychology focuses on learning individual characteristic. Individual characteristic are one factor determining the success of individuals. Most people use IQ as measure of success. However, it has beenfound that EQ (Emotional Quotient) is the most important factor determining the success of individuals.The levels of EQ can be determined using psikotest, which measure individual’s cognitive ability,emotions, inclination of act and things influence that. Myers Briggs type Indicator or MBTI is one of alltest of written test. MBTI have four of dimension that opponent. Although, it is truly everyone have all ofthat character. Therefore, we design an expert system using forward chaining method. This system has100% accurate.

Abstract

The development of information technology makes Department of Education, Youth and Sports Kupang began developing administrative systems using information technology. One of the administrative system required by the Department of Education, Youth and Sports Kupang is in the public and employees of sub-section had difficulty in calculating the data processing performance of teachers in the process of filing a promotion to the preparation of reports. Therefore we need a system that can facilitate the processing of data in an integrated manner, which is supported by the use of desktop-based system to facilitate the presentation of information and data promotion of teachers. In this study designed “An Application Calculation Of Assessment Teacher Performance For Process Increase Filing In Rank Teachers" based desktop using Visual Basic programming language and Microsoft Office Access 2007 as the database. In this study produced an assessment of the performance of teachers and support the submission of information for the promotion. With this application, it will assist and facilitate the work in the process of teacher performance assessment calculations by the Department of Education, Youth and Sports Kupang.

Abstract

The design of medium for consultation purpose is firstly caused by the lack of society awareness of dogs’ disease, their responsibility to regularly take care of the pet when it sufferred a disease and the cost of care. This medium care is the application of Case Based Reasoning (CBR). CBR is kind of reasoning used to solve a new problem by adapting the solutions found in the previous cases through summing the similarities. In this research the Simple Matching Coefficient (SMC) method is employed to count the similarities. This Case Based Reasoning application will produce the output like kind of disease sufferered by dogs based on symptoms reported by the proprietor. Furthermore, the application serve you with the solution of medical care. This application is a web based with aims to facilitate the user to access the information needed easily. The system trial showing that the program can do the diagnose well according to symptoms reported. The result of the diagnose is also provided with the similarities percentage with the previous case. This aims to improve the level of validity and the accurateness of disease found in dogs.

DAMM PT.Surya Mustika's smoking distributor AMC'S Kupang always have Trouble in determine an employee to promoted the position.Spontaneous Supporting System application (SPK) Position promotion is designed to supportactivity in the officeso as the maker of decision will be take the decree which objective. In the position promotion process, anemployee will be evalutes by 10 criterions has been determined. The employee pontential evaluate will created a decisons the process used MOORA methode. The Result of this system count results ranking's alternative as recommendation for decision maker to be promoted. After done 4 examination time 10, 20, and 30 data test, then flowed by 5 data test to fire an examination employee already been promoted at period 2013 Marches 2015 to measure ranking's accuracies systems to ranking's that done by HRD used 10 that criterion, then obtainable ranking's result the same withthe percentage ofsuitabilityin the amount of 100%.

Abstract

Meteorological Station El Tari Kupang (El Tari Kupang Stamet) has a fundamental duty to implement functionsin the field of Meteorology BMKG in particular to support the safety of air transportation and provide public information such as weather forecasts of NTT province, weather forecasts cruise along the waters of the sea wave heightin NTT and early warning of bad weather. Problem that often encountered is the dissemination of information that is still less effective and efficient. To overcome these problems,a website is designed as a media to deliver information quickly and can be accessed anywhere. In this research,the website is designed and manufactured, where the process begins with the analysis of needs and roles of the users, and then create the design to realize those needs. The next process is to implement it by making an appropriate website design and the final process of this research is testing the system. This website is built using PHP and Mysql languange programes. The output soft his website are in the form of profile information, news, galleries, downloads, employee data, image data, maritime weather information, maritime weather maps, provinces weather information, early warning of bad weather, airline data, guest book and flight information document.
