Abstract

Early diagnosis of skin diseases which is caused by fungal infections is necessary to reduce the risk of disease. In this article, an expert system that implements the Bayes’ theorem is proposed as a solution for early diagnosis of skin diseases, especially those caused by fungal infections. Knowledge acquisition from experts, in this case a specialist in skin and venereal diseases, is carried out to obtain a knowledge base. A total of 31 data from medical records were used in this study. Types of skin diseases that can be detected are tinea korporis, tinea unguium, pitiriasis versicolor, and mild mucocutaneous candidosis. Bayes’ theorem is implemented in the inference engine, resulting in a probability of the type of skin disease suffered based on symptom inputs from the user. Results, which are produced by the system, are then validated by expert. Based on the results of the validation, 27 results matched the experts’ validation while 4 results did not, so that the level of system accuracy based on the validation results was 87.1%.

Abstract

TThis study aims to optimize the wireless network from blind spots in the AIKOM Ternate environment. These blind spot areas make wireless network users (lecturers, staff, and students) uncomfortable because they have to get close to the nearest network source (access point (AP)) in order to access the internet or intranet network. With this wireless network optimization, the coverage area of ​​the wireless network is adjusted according to the need so that there are no more blind spots. The use of the Wireless Monitoring (Wirelessmon) application to detect the coverage area of ​​each installed AP, which is measured is the receive signal strength indicator (RSSI), including the determination of channel usage from each AP so as not to overlap in channel usage on each AP and the data rate that is experiencing increase and decrease according to the quality of the received signal. The results of this study indicate that after the optimization was carried out by installing the AP at five points. Optimization of the wireless network at the AIKOM Ternate campus was successful with RSSI -61dBm to -44dBm, RSSI was included in the very good category. It is recommended that RSSI measurements use more than one software so that comparisons are carried out, make comparisons of the received RSSI with the resulting throughput on different devices, and network administrators can use the results of this study but the use of devices with specifications that are different from those used in this study is suggested to perform retrieval of data so that the results are maximum.

Abstract

Microsoft PowerPoint is an application that is often used in presentations because of the ease of operation. Even so, users are still required to adjust the presentation manually such as starting a slide, continuing to the next slide, returning to the previous slide, and so on by pressing the keyboard button. Often, it is difficult for users to reach the computer while doing a presentation in front of many people and it will certainly take time. The purpose of this research is to reduce physical contact between users and computers by using voice instead of keyboard commands to operate the presentation so that it is more effective. This research implements the Hidden Markov Models base of Microsoft Speech API in C# programming language. The tolerance level of word pattern changes approaching the original word is 84.29% and the accuracy of the program running in the clear background is 100%. Users can use the application with a microphone or the like as input that is compatible with their computer.

Abstract

Database is a collection of data that forming an information that useful for managers in an organization to facilitate data management process to become more effective and safely guarantee. A good database has fast and accurate response time performance in data execution processing. To manage the database, it requires a special language or query known as Structure Query Language (SQL). Increase need for fast information, will need a proper SQL as well. Therefore, through this research, a test analysis will be used to optimize the query response time in database management system commonly used today, namely the My Structured Query Language (MySQL) using PHP version of 7.2.27 relational database which will be tested on the Oebufu Village Aspiration and Information Service System (SELMA) that acessed from localhost panels with a total of 1000 test data records. The test is devoted to the effectiveness of using SELECT queries in calling and displaying data through restructuring the use of clauses. This study aims to help improve data management by providing the results of the comparative analysis of response times between the general query model and the optimized query results in order to determine the correct and efficient query structure. The result is proven by doing query optimization, it is found that the presentation of time optimization is significant, which is 78% much faster than the initial query, through this test it can be concluded that optimization plays an important role in streamlining the response time of database queries.

Abstract

Various attempts are needed to control the increment of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia, especially Java Island. One of the effective attempt to do this is through the preventive act by providing news about a region. Indonesia, through Satgas Penanganan COVID-19, has built a risk zone of district/city as a warning system for the public and the substance of policy making for government in region level. The risk zone is built by three kinds of indicator using a conventional technique named score weighting. By considering the importance of the risk zone for policy making in the government, this study aims to build a risk zone classification model for districts / cities in Java using several data mining classification techniques and determine the best classification model based on evaluation results. This study uses several classification technique on the purpose of comparation. These techniques are naive Bayes, decision tree, k-nearest-neighbor, and neural network. Before entering the modeling stage, data is being adjustedat the preprocessing stage where missing value and imbalanced data problems are identifies. These problems is being overcome by doing data imputation and oversampling techniques. The result of this study indicates that k-nearest-neighbor is the best model compared to other three models. This result is based on the evaluation measures of the four models where the k-NN model has the highest accuracy value, the macro average value for sensitivity, specivicity, and F1-Measure compared to other models.

Abstract

Security is inversely proportional to comfort, the more comfortable the application of technology will have an impact on the security side of the system. The Server is an important infrastructure in managing data. It is important to prevent attacks on Servers. Firewall implementation can minimize attacks that harm the Server. One of them is by implementing an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) application such as Snort which has the ability to detect attacks that occur on Server systems. In this study, the authors developed a system called R-Wall. The implementation of R-Wall aims to be able to monitor and secure Servers against several attack methods, including port scanning, DDoS ping of death SSH brute force, and FTP brute force type. The results of this implementation are able to provide attack notifications sent via Telegram robot with a total of 247 DDoS pings of deadly attacks, 8 port scanning attacks, 247 FTP brute force attacks, and 208 SSH brute force attacks. R-Wall is also able to restrict access to attackers.

Abstract

Having a high level of education is everyone's dream. Because with high education someone will have the competence and ability according to their field. The study program is something that someone must choose to study in college. Selection of a study program is an important first step, because it determines what will be studied in the future. However, in reality the decisions taken in choosing a study program often cause problems, as a result of the study program being taken only to follow friends or because of parental coercion and not according to their talents and interests. This causes many students to feel that they are wrong in their majors and find it difficult to study in the study program they have chosen and finally decide to change majors and even drop out of college. For this reason, an expert system application based on progressive web apps (PWA) was created that can provide recommendations for appropriate study programs and can help find out what intelligence the prospective student has based on the multiple intelligences theory popularized by Howard Gardner. The method used in making this expert system is the forward chaining method and the method of developing this expert system application uses the waterfall model System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method.

Abstract

Sports news is of great interest to today's society. This is because sports have grown into entertainment. There is a lot of sports news today that covers a wide range of sports, from branches that use the ball as objects for games like football, to sports in automotive race like formula 1. Beyond that, the substance of the sports news itself is as diverse as the news of managerial from a sports club, results matches, player injuries, et cetera. Surely such a thing would be difficult. The network wants one in the field of discussion in the news. Overlap data occurs in the sports news document because it mixes one sentence data with the other. Some of the content in the sports news is about managerial, players, schedules, previews, reviews, standings, statistics, champions, etc. Becomes a problem when the reader wants a topic on the news that focuses on one particular discussion. This study has built a book on sentence classification meaning Artificial Neural Network (ANN) with a method of learning Backpropagation. The feature used is the frequency of the occurrence of a term in the corresponding sentence and the calculating result of a distributed term. The testing of our proposed methods shows an accuracy of 99% to best results on training data and 57% on test data.

Abstract

The use of non-standard language is increasingly prevalent in communication on social media. The use of indefinite language is not limited to sentences, clauses, or phrases but also word usage. In this study, the nonstandard word (NSW) will be normalized to the Indonesian standard word (SW). The Nazief-Adriani stemmer (NAS) method was developed into a nonstandard stemmer (NSS) by increasing its ability to detect non-standard additives. The Needleman-Wunsch similarity algorithm is used to weight the matches. The test results with the Mean Reciprocal Rank (MRR) of 3,438 NSW found that the use of NSS with the number of queries = 9 (Q = 9) had the highest of 79.26% with an average of 50.48%. Meanwhile, MRR testing using NAS with Q = 9 got the highest result of 72.87% and an average of 47.23%. Of the two MRR tests carried out, there were 3 letters that had the highest stemming results, both in tests using NAS and using NSS, namely the initial letters r, f and j. The most significant increase in MRR value occurs in the initial letters 'd', 'n' and 't' which are the initial letters of some non-standard affixes.

Abstract

Alumni Data Collection at Vocational High School 3 (SMK 3) Pangkalpinang previously existed but was still done in writing using the Microsoft Word application so that it experienced several problems such as errors in data collection, archiving difficulties, delays in obtaining alumni information and lack of job vacancies information. Making this website serves to track the whereabouts of alumni through the internet network and obtain alumni data collection information, the whereabouts of alumni workplaces quickly. The information displayed on this website is the profile of the school, alumni, job vacancies and activities that will be held at the school, especially those related to alumni. This information can be accessed by alumni and other external parties. The method used to design this website is a software development model using a Framework or Application of Systems Technology (FAST) model which consists of scope definition, problem analysis, requirements analysis and prior design. The database used is MySql and the tool used to develop it is the Unified Modeling language. The result of this research is a website that functions as a means of interaction between schools and alumni, promoting schools and processing alumni data
