Aqwal: Journal of Quran and Hadies Studies
Aqwal: Journal of Quranic and Hadith Studies is a peer-reviewed (double-blind), open-access journal published biannualiy (Juni and Desember) by Ilmu Al-Qur’an-Tafsir (IAT) and Hadith (ILHA)Program, Faculty Ushuluddin, Adab and Da’wah, K.H Abdurrahman Wahid State Islamic University Pekalongan since 2020. Aqwal invites students, scholars and researchers to contribute the result of their studies and researches. This Journal is aims to Quranic and Hadith studies which covers original research and literatur review with various focus of linguistic (semantic, semiotic, stilistic qiroaat, nadhom), philosophy (hermeneutic), local wisdom studies, environment, gender, and others. This journal, serving as a forum for the study of Quranic and Hadith in Asian and other parts of the world within its local and challenging global context, supports focused Hadith studies of particular theme and multidisciplinary studies. Al-Aqwal has become a medium of exchange of ideas and research findings from various traditions.

<![CDATA[The study of classical book tahqiq is attached to the figure of a hadith scholar named Abdul Fattah Abu Ghuddah. This is because the research he has done has studied and commented on the works of classical scholars, who showed their attention to the treasures of past scholarship. In commenting on the studies researched him, the hadiths, interpretations, moral fiqh and others do not show his inclination towards the school that he holds. The scholarly figure of Abdul Fattah Abu Ghuddah in the field of hadith who adheres to the Imam Abu Hanifah school of thought does not make it necessary to quote all his tahqiq works from scholars of the Imam Abu Hanifah school of thought. As a behavior that maintains the scientific tradition of past scholars. However, there were times when Abdul Fattah Abu Ghuddah commented on the classical scholars' criticism of Imam Abu Hanifah's character in the field of hadith. <![CDATA[Business transactions in the modern era require the use of technology and information. The sale and purchase contract is a familiar type of business transaction. Buying and selling has been practiced since ancient times. Nevertheless, modern development is taking place. All human transactions are governed by the Qur'an. Buying (al-bay') is one of the studies discussed in the Qur'an. The meaning and definition of al-bay' in the Qur'an differ from one letter to the next. This research reveals how the Qur'an views the concept of al-bay' in general. This study employed a maudu>'i> interpretation study approach in its library research. This maudu>'i interpretation study is used to explore data about al-bay' then explained based on the Koran's interpretation. The findings indicate that the word al-bay' in the Koran has two meanings. To begin, al-bay' discusses economic issues, particularly purchasing and selling transactions. So al-bay' is always associated with profit in worldly affairs. This is the meaning of al-bay', which is widely debated among Islamic economists. While eating al-bay', the second discusses the issue of ukhrawi life and faith. The meaning that emerges as a result of the modern world's conditions is that al-bay' is associated with the economic field. The truth is that economic conditions are rapidly changing, and one example is online buying transactions.]]>

<![CDATA[Artikel ini membahas tentang pengobatan islami berbasis Al-Qur’an yang dilakukan di Keluarga Besar Ruqyah Aswaja. Masalah yang diteliti dalam artikel ini adalah bagaimana pengobatan islami yang dilakukan pada keluarga besar Ruqyah Aswaja denga pendekatan Qur’anic immunity. Tujuan dari tulisan ini untuk menjelaskan bahwasanya pengobatan islami tidak terbatas pada pengobatan rohani saja, tetapi juga dapat digunakan untuk pengobatan jasmani. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dan pengambilan data melalui wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Untuk menganalisis data tersebut, penulis meminjam tawaran Sam D Gill yakni fungsi informatif dan fungsi performatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini, terdapat dua tradisi ritual ruqyah KBRA dalam tinjauan Informatif-Performatif sebagaimana analisis yang dilakukan oleh Sam D Gill. Jika dilihat dari tinjauan fungsi informatif menunjukkan bahwa teks yang dihasilkan dari pemaknaan dan pemahaman melalui ijazahan, buku panduan, website maupun platform media sosial KBRA. Sementara fungsi performatif terdiri dari dua bentuk yaitu penyembuhan melalui dorongan spiritual dengan menggunakan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dan jual beli produk obat-obatan herbal.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana komparasi penafsiran K.H Bisri Mustofa dan K.H Malik Karim Amrullah dalam Al-Qur’an, serta bagaimana analisis konsep Syifa di dalam Al-Qur’an dengan berbeda pandangan menurut K.H Bisri Mustofa dan K.H Malik Karim Amrullah. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian jenis kepustakaan dan pendekatan yang digunakan yakni pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dengan cara mencari kata Syifa dalam Al- Qur’an yang dijelaskan didalam kitab Tafsir Al-Ibriz karya K.H Bisri Mustofa dan Tafsir Al-Azhar karya K.H Malik Karim Amrullah. Selain itu, juga menganalisisnya antara kedua pendapat Tafsir tersebut. Metode Analisis data yang digunakan peneliti dengan cara muqoron menyesuaikan hasil penelitian dengan teori yang sudah dipaparkan kemudian data terseut dianalisis. Bedasarkan hasil analisis konsep Syifa didalam Al-Qur’an berdasarkan dua sudut pandang yang berbeda yaitu pada Tafsir Al-Azhar karya K.H Abdul Malik Karim Amrullah dan Tafsir Al- Ibriz Karya K.H Bisri Mustofa. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah Tafsir Al- Azhar lebih condong kepada tasawuf moderen sedangkan pada Tafsir Al- Ibriz memahami konsep Syifa dengan menghubungkan kepada kearifan lokal.]]>

<![CDATA[Prophetic ethics contain commendable values that need to be emulated from the attitude of the Prophet Muhammad. This prophetic ethics comes from the Qur'an. The existence of prophetic ethics really needs to be implemented in everyday life. That Islam has taught us all to have the traits and behaviors exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad. In this writing, it is able to provide insight and understanding of prophetic ethics to other people from cartoonmuslimahid accounts. Prophetic ethics can also be implemented in social media. So that social media users are more careful and can control themselves in posting everything. This writing will discuss the teachings of prophetic ethics in Islam and the application of prophetic ethics in cartoon Muslimahid accounts. This study uses a qualitative method with a type of literature review research. Data collection techniques use observation and documentation, form data using sentences and pictures. The results of this study indicate that there is a prophetic ethics that needs to be emulated from the Prophet Muhammad and this prophetic ethics needs to be applied to oneself, to others in accordance with Islamic teachings and the Qur'an.]]>

<![CDATA[This article attempts to examine the methodology of interpretation in the classic commentary text by Abdullah bin Wahb al-Mishri, namely the book al-Jami' Tafsir al-Qur'an. This is motivated by the existence of a study of ancient manuscripts attributed to Ibn Wahb through transmission. The object of study is al-Jami' Tafsir al-Qur'an by Abdullah bin Wahb al-Mishri which is the result of research (tahqiq and ta'liq) from Miklos Muranyi in 1939. By using a qualitative-descriptive method, this article concludes that: the method used by Abdullah bin Wahb al-Miṣrī can be viewed from 4 points of view; sources of interpretation using bi al-ra'yī, the breadth of explanation uses ijmālī, the goals and systematics use mauḍū'ī and the tendency of interpretation uses bi al-riwāyah. These results indicate that the book of commentaries does not only use a single method in its preparation so that al-Miṣrī makes his book an answer that the compilation of the book of interpretations of the Qur'an is not single, but mono-method, or in methodological terms using comparisons.]]>

<![CDATA[Among all the six pillars of faith, faith in angels has its own uniqueness, because it is able to invite debate among Muslim scholars, both in terms of substance and existence. Abduh’s interpretation has its own uniqueness because he attempts to carry out a reconstruction related to the concept of angels. This research will further explore the concept of angels in Abduh’s interpretation as well as look at its consequences for aspects of faith. This research is a library research using descriptive-analytical method. The approach used is hermeneutical. In this study, the primary source used was Muhammad Abduh’s interpretation of QS. al-Baqarah: 30-34 written in Tafsir al-Manar. The results of the study show that according to Abduh, the significance of discussing the nature of angels is the wisdom behind the dialogue between God and the angels in the creation of Adam. He interprets angels more as a natural potential (al-quwa al-tabi’iyyah) rather than a person or creature made of light. If angels are interpreted as natural potentials and laws, then this means that humans are given the ability to empower these potentials, as symbolized by the angels’ prostration to Adam. The consequence of this interpretation of the aspect of faith in angels is maximizing the synergy between humans and their natural potential]]>

<![CDATA[Tulisan ini membahas mengenai tafsir yang bernuansa sufistik dan berbahasa Jawa yang ditulis oleh Kyai Sholeh Darat. Fokus pembahasannya yakni pada Tafsir Faid Al Rahman. Penafsiran Kyai Sholeh memiliki unsur unsur Isyari. Dalam tulisan, ada tiga rumusan masalah terkait tema ini yaitu pertama, bagaimana metode yang dipakai dalam kitab tafsir tersebut. Kedua, bagaimana aspek lokalitas di dalam tafsir tersebut. Ketiga, seperti apa contoh unsur unsur sufistik yang ada di dalam tafsir tersebut. Dalam tulisan ini disimpulkan bahwasannya tafsir Faid Al Rahman memiliki ciri bernuansa sufistik yang ditulis dengan menggunakan bahasa jawa pegon dengan menggunakan metode tahlili. <![CDATA[Theoretically, most village people still maintain traditions from their ancestors. As happened in the people of Kedungwaru Kidul who have various views regarding offerings with the aim of maintaining the tradition of offerings. Offerings at a wedding in Kedungwaru Kidul Village, Karanganyar District, Demak Regency. The problem studied in this research is to know the behavior of the Kedungwaru Kidul community and the religious practices of the community towards wedding offerings. In the formulation of the problem there is a sub-discussion in it which contains people's opinions regarding offerings in marriage. In this study using qualitative methods by collecting some observational data and interviews, in compiling this data is done in the field with the aim to provide answers to existing questions. From the results of this study, it is explained that offerings are a culture of the ancestors passed down from one generation to the next. Offerings can be interpreted as an expression of gratitude to God, and given smoothness in the wedding ceremony that will be held. In addition, these offerings are commemorated as a sense of respect for the ancestors.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the proper practice of enforcing the ban on taking pictures in millennial life. especially the hadiths regarding the prohibition of taking pictures. The limitations of this research include the proper practice of turning on the ban on taking pictures in millennial life. The issues examined in this study are: (1) textual analysis of the hadith of the Prophet prohibiting drawing. (2) Contextual analysis of the hadith of the Prophet prohibiting drawing (3) Proper practice in reviving the hadith of the Prophet prohibiting drawing in the present. The conclusions of this study are (1) the hadith that we examined is a hadith that contains God's threat to painters, especially painters whose painting objects are animate creatures, (2) Scholars differ on what criteria will be affected by the threat. However, some opinions say that this threat only applies to painters whose work resembles God's creation, (3) taking pictures is an activity that is permissible, and it becomes something good if it has a positive impact. However, taking pictures can be illegal if the content created has a negative impact and also violates Islamic sharia provisions]]>
