Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of virtual reality (VR) in simple math quizzes as a children's learning platform. The background of this research stems from the need for innovative and engaging educational tools to enhance children's learning experiences in mathematics. Traditional methods of teaching mathematics often lack interactivity and fail to captivate young learners. By leveraging the immersive and interactive nature of VR technology, this research aims to address these challenges and create an effective learning platform for children. The main problem addressed by the research is the difficulty children often face in grasping mathematical concepts due to their abstract nature. By integrating VR into math quizzes, children can visualize and manipulate mathematical concepts in a virtual environment, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Additionally, the use of VR can make learning math more enjoyable and engaging for children, leading to increased motivation and improved learning outcomes. The research utilizes a specific model of VR technology to implement the app math quizzes. The exact model used is not specified in the abstract. However, it can be assumed that the chosen VR hardware and software align with the requirements of creating an interactive and immersive learning experience for children. The VR technology allows for the creation of virtual environments where children can interact with mathematical elements and solve quizzes in an engaging manner. In terms of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and design pattern method used in this research, no specific information is provided in the abstract. Further details are required to determine the specific SDLC and design pattern method employed in the implementation of the VR-based math quizzes.

Abstract

The liver is a vital organ that is important for humans because it plays a role in regulating hormone cycles, neutralizing toxins, and controlling the composition of blood. Liver disease is a common ailment worldwide. Often, this disease occurs without specific symptoms (asymptomatic). Therefore, liver disease is known as a "silent killer," and it is necessary to quickly and accurately diagnose and treat liver diseases. Data mining technology can be useful for rapidly detecting liver diseases from laboratory diagnosis results. One classification algorithm that can be used is the C50 algorithm. This algorithm is an improvement over the previous C45 algorithm, with several advantages such as efficient memory usage and more concise tree results. However, the C50 algorithm may experience overfitting on complex medical data, requiring the boosting process using AdaBoost. The AdaBoost algorithm can make the C50 algorithm more susceptible to overfitting. Another advantage of the AdaBoost algorithm is its ability to handle imbalanced datasets in terms of target labels. This research used 583 data from UCI machine learning with two target labels: liver and normal. The research results show that the C50 algorithm is capable of identification with an accuracy rate of 74.58%. Furthermore, the C50 algorithm's accuracy can be maximized by AdaBoost to reach 86.44%

Abstract

Amil Zakat Infaq and Shadaqah Muhammadiyah Institution (LazisMu) Ayah is one of the national amil zakat institutions located in Ayah District, Kebumen Regency. Every month, LazisMu Ayah Service Office provides assistance to people in need in the form of house renovation programs, scholarships for high school or college level education, and business capital. The problem that is often encountered in determining potential aid recipients is that the large number of requests for aid is disproportionate to the number of officers processing the screening data. Apart from that, the selection process for aid recipients still uses manual methods, so it often causes problems such as the selection process for selecting aid candidates taking up to a week and miscalculations occurring, resulting in inaccurate results in the selection of potential aid recipients. Therefore, the method used as a solution model in providing decisions on the system for selecting potential aid recipients at LazisMu Ayah is a decision support system using the multi-attribute utility theory (MAUT) method. This method was chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case, the intended alternative is people who are entitled to receive assistance based on 10 criteria. The results of the black box testing show that the system created is in accordance with the design and can be used as a tool. making decisions on determining aid recipients, so that LazisMu Ayah services can be improved because the selection process becomes faster, more accurate, and on target.

Abstract

Batteries that can store electrical energy and are easy to carry make them the most practical technology choice as an electricity source. Even so, lithium-ion batteries are not free from the risk of damage when used. Therefore, a Lithium-ion battery health monitoring system was created. This system uses the INA219 sensor as a current and voltage detector and the DS18B20 sensor as a temperature detector. Arduino as a data process. The test results show that all components function well. In battery capacity testing, the highest error was 1.8%. For the DS18B20 sensor as a temperature sensor, an error of 2.4% was obtained. Testing capacity against temperature on the battery when the temperature was 25 C, the current was 485mAh; when the temperature was 44.8 C, the current was 550mAh, there was a difference of 65mAh or 11%. This difference corresponds to the difference in battery capacity. Testing using the Fuzzy Logic method was carried out on 3 batteries with different capacities to obtain the State of Health (SOH) value for each battery. Testing is carried out in real-time, as well as Matlab simulation. In battery test 1, with a capacity of 2200mAh and the highest temperature of 32.1 oC, the device's State of Health (SoH) was 90%, and Fuzzy Matlab was 87.6%. Battery 2, 1500mAh capacity with the highest temperature of 33.4oC obtained State of Health (SOH) of 60%, Fuzzy Matlab 60%. Battery 3 Capacity 2200mAh, Highest temperature 32.2 oC, State of Health (SOH) of 90%, Fuzzy Matlab 87.6%. The test results show that the overall error is still below 5%. A properly functioning Internet of Things (IoT) system can display information on lithium-ion batteries' State of Health (SoH) on devices and smartphones.
