Abstract

The Hanikit tradition significantly influences the social, cultural, and religious life of the Atone Pah Meto community in South Central Timor, East Nusa Tenggara. Through rituals like Futus, it serves as an expression of gratitude to God and a key part of the local cultural identity. This study explores the theological aspects of the Hanikit tradition, focusing on its alignment with biblical teachings. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that while the tradition reflects biblical values, such as reverence for God, certain elements of the Futus ritual require critical review to align with Christian faith. The study concludes that the Hanikit tradition can be contextualized within the Christian framework by removing incompatible elements, preserving its role as a cultural expression that strengthens faith.

Abstract

This study explores the use of innovative experiential learning as an alternative to the lecture method, which often leaves students silent and disengaged. It aims to improve students' English academic performance and examine the role of social-emotional competence in linking experiential learning to academic outcomes. Conducted as Classroom Action Research (CAR) in an eleventh grade, the study followed two cycles of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Results show that experiential learning enhances English performance by fostering active participation, critical thinking, communication, and motivation through real-world applications. Social-emotional competence significantly mediates these improvements, supporting the value of interactive and practical teaching methods.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of liquidity, profitability, firm size, tangibility, and growth on the capital structure of consumer goods and industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2016 to 2022. Using the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) in Eviews 12SV, 45 companies were analyzed based on purposive sampling. Results show tangibility and liquidity negatively influence capital structure, as firms with higher tangible assets and liquidity prefer internal financing. Conversely, firm size, profitability, and growth positively impact capital structure, with larger, more profitable firms adopting higher leverage due to increased access to external funding. This highlights the dynamic interplay of financial factors in shaping corporate capital structures.
