Abstract

This study aims to analyze and understand the dominant character of department heads at PT BTU, who so far have appointed departmental leaders who prefer criteria of general technical competence, experience and soft skills such as communication skills, integrity, creativity, etc. According to Belbin, a person's character can be divided into 3 groups, namely the Thinking Oriented group consisting of Plant (PL), Monitor Evaluator (ME) and Specialist (SP). The Action Oriented group consists of Sharper (SH), Implementer (IMP) and Completer Finisher (CF). Finally, the People Oriented group consists of Team Workers (TW), Resource Investigators (RI) and Coordinators (C). From the research results for the 15 Departments at PT BTU, it was found that 73% of the leaders were People Oriented, and 27% were Action Oriented, and no Thinking Oriented dominant leaders. In order for the team in the department to further improve their performance, it is better if the deficiencies or weaknesses in one of the characters or orientations can be filled by staff who stand out in characters that the leader does not have.

Abstract

The rules that have been agreed upon in the WTO Agreement cover various matters or fields. One such agreement is subsidies and countervailing measures. The rules regarding subsidies and reward actions are actually one of the six main rules produced by the Tokyo Round. each signatory country must notify all subsidies, including all forms of income and price support, which affect directly or indirectly on increasing exports of all types of products or reducing imports of all types of products into the territory of Indonesia. Implementation of Subsidy Arrangements in International Trade in Indonesia is regulated through Government Regulation Number 34 of 1996 concerning Antidumping Duties and Compulsory Import Duties. These rules are in accordance with the applicable provisions, but related to cases that occurred in Indonesia, especially in the settlement of export subsidy disputes, this is not regulated in the SCM Agreement. The settlement of the dispute is regulated in Article XXII and Article XXIII WTO Article XXII in the GATT agreement requires the parties to resolve their disputes through bilateral consultations.

Abstract

Teaching strategy is one of the elements that must be understood by a teacher. Learning strategies are developed according to a certain approach. Learning strategies consist of all academic components and procedures that help students achieve certain learning goals. Teaching strategies can also be interpreted as models of teaching activities that are chosen and used by teachers depending on the characteristics of students, school conditions, the environment and the specific learning objectives that are formulated. In the world of education, a teacher must have used an expository strategy, especially an PAK teacher who used an expository learning strategy in the lecture method delivered to students. Moreover, this strategy uses the lecture method, such as for example how to teach Jesus who uses the lecture method, where his sermon is written in Matthew 5-7. The expository strategy is very effectively used in PAK learning because PAK learning contains many elements of religious history which the teacher conveys to students in the form of lectures.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how much the independent variable contributes to the dependent variable and to see the indirect effect of the intervening variable. This study wants to test the effect of independent and intervening variables on the dependent variable, to determine the significance between variables. The results of this study after looking at the literature review that has been analysed that there is significance between variables. This research uses a literature review study that does not use respondents as the basis for data processing. To prevent turnover in an organization the company must have an employee retention career development program for employees and implement a reward management system.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an E-LKPD based on a scientific approach at MAN 2 Model Medan. The results of this study are in the form of an Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD). Data collection using validation questionnaires, practical questionnaires, student activity sheets, and student response questionnaires to E-LKPD based on a scientific approach. The trial of the E-LKPD was carried out face-to-face in Class X-4 at the MAN 2 Model school. The results of this development research are an E-LKPD based on a scientific approach for students of MAN 2 Model Medan showing that: (1) The E-LKPD developed is stated to be valid based on the assessment of experts and math teachers with an average validity rating of 84.23% with a score "Valid", (2) E-LKPD based on a scientific approach was declared practical based on an assessment from a mathematics teacher with a proportion of 81.73% and an assessment from students X-4 MAN 2 Model with a proportion of 92.8%, (3) E- LKPD based on a scientific approach has been declared effective based on an assessment from the student response questionnaire with a score of 84% and an assessment from the student activity observation sheet with a value of 88.15 and categorized as very positive. From the results of the analysis above, it can be interpreted that the E-LKPD based on the scientific approach of the Medan Model MAN 2 students is valid, practical, and effective in using the E-LKPD in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Reciprocal Teaching learning model on the mathematical communication skills of junior high school students. The method used is meta-analysis, namely systematic research by analyzing research results that have been published nationally related to the effect of the reciprocal teaching learning model on junior high school students' mathematical communication abilities. The sample for this study were six national journal articles published in the 2013-2022 range at the junior high school level, which discussed writing experiments on the effect of the reciprocal teaching learning model on junior high school students' mathematical communication abilities. The instrument in this study was a coding sheet that summarized the data and information of the journal articles studied. The results showed that overall the ten journal articles had an average effect size value of 1.14, which means that they belong to the large effect category. The results of the study also show that the reciprocal teaching learning model has a great influence on mathematical communication skills in terms of class levels, subject matter, and regions in Indonesia. This shows the conclusion that the reciprocal teaching learning model has a major influence on students' mathematical communication skills compared to conventional learning.

Abstract

Some physical materials are microscopic, atomistic or abstract in nature which are difficult to observe directly. Although observations can be made experimentally, the high cost of laboratories and materials in experiments is an obstacle to conducting tests in experiments. This can hamper the teaching and learning process, especially in basic physics courses. The development of computerization has touched the learning environment. Computer simulations have been able to visualize the actual state of the scientific phenomenon. This can be a solution to the problem. The purpose of this paper is to compare the test results using PhET (Physics Education Technology) simulations with theoretical calculations on the photoelectric effect on the work function of metals. The results obtained by the wavelength simulation (λ) for the work function of Sodium 547 nm, Zenc 430.8 nm, Copper 264 nm and 195 nm with the highest and lowest difference between theory and simulation tests on sodium material are 1.39% while for Zenc it was 0.03%.
