Abstract

Modern and outdated technologies must be used to produce any product that can be sold on the open market in today's industrial age. The use of more complex work tools will increase the potential for bottlenecks and have a negative impact on employee performance. Protection and fulfillment of occupational safety and health (K3) is the single most important factor affecting the ability of employees to do their jobs. PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk is a company engaged in the food and beverage processing sector which was founded in 1971. Protection and fulfillment of occupational safety and health (K3) is one of the factors that affect employee performance. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of K3 in the performance security of employees of PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The results of this study are that PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk has carried out OSH well as a safety measure for employee performance from potential hazards in the company.

Abstract

This article discusses the use of Indonesian in public spaces, precisely at Galaxy Mall Surabaya. The purpose of this article is to find out the phenomena and factors related to these phenomena. Data collection was carried out in Surabaya in March 2023. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires online using a purposive sampling non-random sampling technique. The results obtained from the research conducted show that the use of Indonesian in public spaces is lacking because many people or companies in malls often use foreign languages, more precisely, most of them use English.

Abstract

West Java Province is the region with the highest investment in Indonesia, with a growth rate of 27% during 2020-2022. Adequate infrastructure, competent human resources, and the presence of economic zones support high investment in West Java. However, local policies to stimulate investment growth are not yet optimal. West Java Regional Regulation No. 21 of 2011 on Investment has fallen behind current regulations such as the Job Creation Law, the HPKD Law, and the HPP Law. Therefore, this research aims to identify the issues of foreign investment policy in West Java and propose improvement measures. The research method employed is qualitative, utilizing legal, literature, and comparative approaches. The findings indicate that the issues of foreign investment policy in West Java include the ambiguity of incentives and facilitation provided to investors, the need for expanding the forms of incentives and facilitation, as well as weaknesses in institutional development and investment supervision. Additionally, the infrastructure in West Java Province is inadequate. Hence, it is recommended to revise the West Java Regional Regulation on Investment to ensure sustained growth of investment in the region.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, quality human resources are needed because the benchmark for the success and failure of a business is very dependent on the quality of its human resources. These resources support organizations with work, talent, creativity, quality human resources determined by a good recruitment and training system. Recruitment is a struggle to find workers in order to get as many prospective employees as possible, so that as a result the industry has the opportunity to ensure that prospective employees have good standards within the company. The subject of observation is the Comet Duck Shop. The method we use is descriptive using observative. The results we have are in the form of data in the form of various stages of the recruitment and training process at Kedai Bebek Comet. Starting from the process of disseminating the required position information, the process of selecting prospective employees, to using the job training process. The purpose of this observation is to evaluate HR management at the Bebek Comet MSME listed in the series of activities provided by new employees. Based on the results of the interviews, providing an attention that results in the quality of employee performance can be fulfilled.

Abstract

This research is to determine the planning, implementation, evaluation, and implementation of management information systems in improving the quality of the educational process. This research uses a qualitative approach, namely the research method used to examine the condition of natural objects where the researcher is the key instrument. This article aims to explain the topic of evaluating management information systems programs in improving the quality of education in an educational institution. This research was conducted using a qualitative-descriptive method. The results of the research show that the evaluation of information system programs on education quality management is (a) The quality improvement planning process for evaluation of management information system programs. (b) Implementation of quality improvement in the use of management information systems at these schools, implemented in the curriculum through: 1) self-development programs. 2) integration into all subjects, and 3) habituation. (c) Evaluation of quality improvement in the learning process by utilizing the management information system program evaluation. In improving the quality of education, teachers as educators have a very important position and strategy in developing the potential of students. To increase the professionalism of educators in learning, it is increased through ways of attending upgrading, attending educational courses, conducting visits to other schools or comparative studies, increasing reading, establishing relationships with student guardians, increasing the use of methods, improving materials, and improving facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The purpose of this visit is to find out the Role of Employee Recruitment in producing Quality Human Resources at UMKM Hana Ramen Karawang. To support the results of this visit, the authors used a descriptive method through observation conducted by interviews and documentation. The employee recruitment process at Hana Ramen UMKM uses a social media recruitment system through the social media platforms Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp and uses informal methods by word of mouth. The results show that recruiting quality human resources will have a positive impact on brand success, competitiveness, and the sustainability of a business. The role of Human Resources is very much needed in a company or UMKM so that it can be used as an asset in achieving success in achieving goals. The success of a company or MSMEs in maintaining the company's existence begins with efforts to manage human resources, especially in increasing work effectiveness and efficiency optimally. Human resources are the most important element in a company or MSME so that they can run well, without these elements or the poor quality of human resources, it will be difficult for the company to run and operate properly even though other resources have been fulfilled. Therefore, to produce quality human resources, good employee recruitment is needed.

Abstract

The purpose of this observation visit is to increase students' knowledge of real conditions in the industrial world. Productivity is the sum of the final results or also known as output. The purpose of this productivity is to find out and measure whether the productivity has increased or not. Job satisfaction is an employee attitude that is shown to express satisfaction at work, so why job satisfaction has a lot to do with productivity. The goals of job satisfaction include getting an appropriate salary, career advancement, getting appreciation from the work boss, and so on. The success of a company is largely determined by the work productivity produced by each individual employee, job satisfaction is very closely related to work productivity, because maximum job satisfaction will create individual comfort at work. The results of industrial visits to UMKM Tahu Sumedang Pak Uuh where employees will experience a decrease in productivity if job satisfaction is not maximal. The method used by the author is using the field research method, where industrial visits go directly to the field, namely in Sumedang Pak Uuh Tofu to obtain relevant data, by collecting data by meeting directly with the owner of Sumedang Pak Uuh Tofu.

Abstract

This research program is carried out at UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri, Surabaya City, this UPTD serves someone who has social welfare problems. UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri has the function of fostering street children. This UPTD fosters street children directly, this is proven by the availability of many social empowerment facilities at UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri, as well as learning activity programs that have been determined and carried out in an orderly manner. The research we use here is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The population in this study is the children of UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri Surabaya City. The number of members of the population is 38 foster children who are male - male. The population has a vulnerable age of 9-19 years. UPTD Kampung Anak Negeri Kota Surabaya is an empowerment of street children who build a number of street and abandoned children in Surabaya. The activities provided are useful for children to meet their future.

Abstract

In the modern era, the increase in fashion business people  in Indonesia who use Instagram as a means of promotion raises a lot of competition. Thus, business people must be careful in choosing celebrity endorsers to attract consumers.  One celebrity endorser who is on the rise in popularity due to the uniqueness  of his endorsement content is Fadil Jaidi. This makes  an Indonesian fashion brand called M231 entrust Fadil Jaidi to endorse   its fashion products. Fadil Jaidi is expected to help strengthen consumers' memories of the M231 brand  image which always revolves around elegant, casual, and modern impressions. Therefore, this study aims to prove the influence  of celebrity endorser Fadil Jaidi and brand image on  the purchase decision of  M231 fashion products on Instagram social media. This study used data collection techniques using survey methods, and sampling techniques using purposive sampling by distributing questionnaires to 61 respondents. The results proved that  celebrity endorser Fadil Jaidi had a positive and significant influence on the purchase decision of M231 fashion products on Instagram social media, brand image  did not have a significant effect on the purchase decision of  M231 fashion products on Instagram social media,  celebrity endorser Fadil Jaidi and  brand image  together influence the purchase decision of  M231 fashion products on Instagram social media.
