Abstract

Environmental pollution, especially water pollution, is still considered a common problem. For example, the appearance of foam in the Kalisari River, Damen, Surabaya City. Along the surface of the river water, there is a foam that almost resembles snow, continuously decorating the surface with an unpleasant smell. This article focuses on the policy analysis related to the management of liquid waste pollution in the river. By using descriptive research methods through qualitative approaches, supported by data collection using interview techniques. The results of the research showed the minimum knowledge and awareness of the public about the danger of liquid waste pollution to the environment, as well as the lack of full attention from the central government to one of the foam waste phenomena in the Kalisari River, Damen, Surabaya City. From this research, it is expected that the government will have a greater role in providing good handling and carrying out evaluations so that it can be a measure of the success of a policy related to the environment.

Abstract

In the Indonesian legal system, recognizing the term amicus curiae or which literally means friend of the court, this study examines the position and status of amicus curiae in the Indonesian criminal procedural law order, through normative juridical research, through statutory approach methods. The results of the study found that amicus curiae in the Indonesian judiciary did not yet have a standard structure and components so that its position and position were still uncertain, this was because there was no specification of the regulations governing amicus curiae, amicus cureae itself was not the opinion of witnesses or expert witnesses, but only outside opinion into consideration of the panel of judges.

Abstract

Bandung is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Indonesia and offers a wide variety of architectural styles and types. Although Bandung offers many different architectural styles that attract tourists, unfortunately not all tourist attractions in Bandung offer the same experience in discovering the beauty of the existing architecture. The purpose of this research is to improve the quality tourism attraction and experience of tourist attractions in Bandung by focusing on aspects such as comfort, safety, and accessibility. With the aim to create unique and memorable buildings in the long term, such as building facades, to maintain tourists' interest and encourage more tourists to visit the area regularly. In addition, to investigate how architectural features affect tourism in Bandung City by using qualitative descriptive method to increase tourists' interest. Data was collected through a qualitative open-ended questionnaire from aged respondents who live in Indonesia and have visited Bandung city. The results showed that most respondents were very satisfied with their tourism experience in Bandung City, with the majority visiting tourist attractions to seek new experiences or for healing purposes. The majority of respondents also found it easy to find information about tourist attractions in Bandung and recommended Bandung as a tourism destination to others. However, there were still some respondents who were dissatisfied with public facilities at tourist attractions, such as cleanliness and comfort, as well as the management of rundown tourist spaces.

Abstract

Indonesia is known as a vast country with a large population. Due to this, the government uses the legal system that has brought many conveniences by regulating and bringing justice to the problems that are encountered in people's daily lives. A large number of law enforcement agencies are formed to balance the number of people that need it. This looks like a good thing. With the large number of law enforcement in Indonesia the conveniences of seeking help due to legal matters can be spread evenly throughout the people. However, a large number of discrimination in law enforcement among different classes and hierarchy has been found. Taking from these problems, the writing of this article aims to find out the discrimination that occurs in law enforcement in Indonesia and analysis of discrimination cases against students in Surabaya. The method used in this writing is a qualitative method combined with literature study techniques in collecting data. The results of this essay explain the existence of the phenomenon of discrimination in law enforcement in Indonesia, the chronology of solving the problem of legal discrimination by Papuan students in Surabaya.. The conclusion of this study is Discrimination in law enforcement occurs because of irresponsible officials, aspects of discrimination in law enforcement in Indonesia are social stratification, morphology and cultural differences, the actions of these individuals are contrary to Article 5 UU issue 40 2008 concerning the Elimination of Racial and Ethnic Discrimination.

Abstract

This research method is Classroom Action Research which is conducted in two cycles, with the explanation of each cycle consisting of two meetings by applying the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning model. The purpose of this research is to increase the activity and learning outcomes of students in learning mathematics. The action taken is to apply the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning model. The cycle in this study consists of several steps including planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, tests, documentation. Data analysis in this study is observational data, learning outcome data. The application of the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) learning model can increase student activity in learning activities. It can be proven that active learning has increased from the initial conditions of 6 students or 27.27%, cycle I there are 13 students or 59.09%, and in cycle II there are 20 students or 90.91%. Student learning outcomes in the initial study were only 56.36 to 65.00 and 75.00 in the second cycle, with a learning completeness level of 4 students or 18.18%, cycle I there were 10 students or 45.45%, and in cycle II there were 19 students or 86.36%, although there are still 3 students (13.64%) who have not completed it yet because all the criteria for the success of the learning process have been achieved in the second cycle it is stated that the process of improving learning is complete and successful in the second cycle.

Abstract

This article aimed to explain efforts to improve student learning outcomes in unit time material through the use of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by time board media in class II students at SDN Kembangsari 01. Classroom action research was conducted to see the impact of applying this learning model on understanding and students' skills in understanding the concept of a unit of time. The research method used is an action cycle that involved planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. In the planning stage, a lesson plan was designed taking into account the characteristics of the students and the desired learning objectives. Then, learning actions were carried out using the PBL model assisted by time board media. Observations were made to monitor student progress during learning. After that, reflected on the learning process and the results that have been achieved. The study results showed that applying the PBL model assisted by time board media can improve student learning outcomes in the unit time material. Students’ ability increased in understanding the concept of units of time, calculating time, and solving problems related to units of time. The application of this model provided an opportunity for students to be actively involved in the learning process and visualized the concept of a unit of time concretely. Abstract

Pemilihan umum dan Pemilihan Kepala Daerah adalah momentum yang menentukan dalam kehidupan berdemokrasi. Pemilu dan Pilkada menjadi wadah utama untuk mengkuantifikasi suara rakyat dalam menjalankan transisi kepemimpinan dan pejabat pemerintahan dalam kekuasaan eksekutif dan legislatif. Saat ini, pemilihan umum menjadi bagian dari upaya untuk menyehatkan birokrasi, mengingat banyaknya kasus korupsi yang terjadi di Indonesia. Pada 2018, KPU sempat melarang mantan terpidana korupsi untuk ikut dalam Pemilu, sedang UU No. 6 Tahun 2016 tentang Pilkada juga melarang mantan terpidana korupsi dalam Pilkada. Namun, putusan MA dan MK kemudian mengamputasi pembatasan tersebut. Analisis dalam penelitian ini akan membahas terkait dengan tinjauan hukum dalam perkara tersebut, dengan pendekatan yuridis-normatif. Dalam penelitian ini, diketahui bahwa kebolehan mantan terpidana korupsi untuk ikut dalam Pemilu dan Pilkada adalah bagian dari perlindungan HAM dan hak politik warga negara, serta implementasinya bergandengan dengan upaya pemberantasan tindak pidana korupsi. Pemberian ruang bagi mantan terpidana korupsi untuk tetap dapat menjadi peserta pemilihan umum dijamin secara normatif dalam undang-undang apabila telah memenuhi dua syarat, yakni melampaui masa tunggu selama lima tahun dan mengumumkan bahwa dirinya adalah mantan terpidana korupsi di hadapan publik. Syarat tersebut diorientasikan sebagai bentuk integritas dan memberi lebih banyak pertimbangan bagi konstituen untuk menentukan pilihan dan wakil politiknya dalam pemerintahan.

Abstract

The number of cases of child abuse has become increasingly alarming and disturbing recently. Abuse is a well-known phenomenon in Indonesia and abroad. The parties are usually school age and bullying currently continues in elementary to secondary schools, bullying also continues in college, although on a relatively small scale. The type of research used in this study is normative legal research. Data processed by this method are primary, secondary and tertiary data. Therefore the problems discussed in this study used approaches related to the legal norms contained in the law. Research results show that legal protection is regulated by Child Protection Act No. 1. 23/02/2012 and Child Justice Act No. 23/2002/2012. 11th of 2012.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah hasil belajar siswa kelas 5 SDN 2 Sekaran yang cukup rendah. Hasil belajar tema 8 kelas 5 sebanyak 60% dari 28 siswa belum memenuhi KKM. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) berbantuan media pembelajaran Augmented Reality (AR). Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas 5 SDN 2 Sekaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 1 pertemuan. Dari penelitian, didapatkan hasil bahwa melalui model NHT dengan media AR, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar kelas 5 SDN 2 Sekaran sebesar 82%. Diharapkan dengan model pembelajaran NHT dan media pembelajaran AR dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam perbaikan pembelajaran kelas 5 SDN 2 Sekaran.Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Tema 9 Melalui Penerapan Model Number Head Together dengan Media Augmented Reality dan Video Pembelajaran pada Siswa Kelas 5 SDN Sekaran 02 Semarang
