Abstract

The Online Single Submission (OSS) system was introduced as a strategic instrument of bureaucratic reform aimed at streamlining licensing procedures, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring legal certainty for business actors. However, the operationalization of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system continues to face several structural challenges, including regulatory disharmony across sectors, inadequate technological infrastructure, and low levels of digital literacy among the public. Through a normative juridical approach examining Law Number 11 of 2020 and Government Regulation Number 5 of 2021, this study finds that although the issuance of the Business Identification Number (NIB) has accelerated access to legal status, implementation obstacles remain persistent. Therefore, system optimization necessarily requires precise regulatory harmonization, strengthening of digital infrastructure, and comprehensive educational strategies.

Abstract

Sand This study aims to analyze the effect of drying methods on drying time and gloss results during the painting process using a multifunction spray booth. Three drying methods tested were natural drying, forced air drying, and drying with a light bulb. The sample used was galvanized iron plates painted with Pilox spray paint and clear coat, then dried according to the applied method. Drying time was measured using a stopwatch, while gloss was tested using a gloss meter. The results showed that the light bulb method performed the best, with the highest gloss at all drying times tested. At drying times of 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 15 minutes, the light bulb method produced 97.5 GU, 97.1 GU, and 96.9 GU, respectively. Forced air drying produced a gloss of 85.5 GU at 5 minutes, 87.7 GU at 10 minutes, and 88.9 GU at 15 minutes. Although its drying time was shorter than natural drying, the gloss produced was lower. Natural drying required a longer time of 15.42 minutes, with gloss results of 75.5 GU at 5 minutes, 78.9 GU at 10 minutes, and 85.7 GU at 15 minutes. From these results, it can be concluded that drying with the light bulb method is the best method in terms of both drying time and gloss quality, making it highly suitable for application in both industrial and small workshop scales.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the impact of air pollution on forest ecosystem health and functioning, with a focus on identifying ecosystem sensitivity levels to major pollutants such as particulate matter (PM?.? and PM??), ozone (O?), sulfur dioxide (SO?), and nitrogen dioxide (NO?). Using a literature review approach with a quantitative–comparative method, this study compares forest conditions across different pollution levels through vegetation and soil sample data and statistical modeling. The results indicate that air pollution significantly affects plant physiology, including a reduction in chlorophyll content of up to 27% and canopy area by 18%, thereby inhibiting photosynthesis. In addition, a decline in biodiversity of 15–25% and an increase in forest fire frequency by up to 1.4 times were observed, associated with high levels of tropospheric ozone. Soil quality also showed degradation, with a pH decrease of 0.8–1.2 points and increased accumulation of heavy metals (lead increased by 35% and cadmium by 22%), disrupting nutrient cycling. This study emphasizes the importance of using bioindicators, such as mosses and insects, in monitoring forest health. These findings provide an evidence-based foundation for policy recommendations to support mitigation strategies and sustainable forest management in order to maintain ecosystem vitality amid global environmental pressures.

Abstract

Digital transformation has fundamentally reshaped the business landscape, including the Islamic economic sector in Indonesia. This article examines sharia business marketing strategies within the context of economic digitalization, focusing on Gorontalo City. Using a descriptive-qualitative analytical approach, the study identifies that sharia business actors in Gorontalo face dual challenges: limited digital literacy and the need to maintain business practices in accordance with sharia values. The findings indicate that effective digital marketing strategies must integrate sharia principles (honesty, transparency, and fairness) with the utilization of digital platforms that are accessible to local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This article recommends a trust-based digital marketing approach that emphasizes community building, Islamic educational content, and collaboration within the regional sharia business ecosystem.

Abstract

One of the key elements in making high-quality sponge cake batter is consistent and precise mixing, ensuring all ingredients are well-blended and producing the air bubbles necessary for softness. The aim of this machine redesign was to overcome the limitations of the previous design by using a multi-stage pulley. By redesigning the machine, it can be tailored to more specific operational needs, improve product quality, and minimize wasted time. To achieve this goal, the sponge cake mixer, which previously used a fixed-size pulley system, was updated to be more efficient in regulating rotation speed. Therefore, research was conducted by replacing the pulley size variations with a 5-inch diameter with 840 rpm, 6 inches with 700 rpm, and 7 inches with 600 rpm. During the testing process, the dough was mixed and the time required until the dough was ready was recorded.Based on the results of the trial using a multi-level pulley, it was found that the average time for mixing sponge cake batter with a 5-inch pulley produced an average time of 37 minutes, while a 6-inch pulley produced an average time of 46 minutes, and for a 7-inch pulley produced an average time of 55 minutes. A 5-inch diameter pulley is the appropriate size for use in a redesigned sponge cake batter mixer machine because it produces the fastest mixing time, which is an average of 37 minutes, with a rotation speed of 840 rpm. This pulley size is able to increase the efficiency of production time without reducing the quality of the dough mixing results
