Abstract

The implementation of the Electronic Regional Tax Information System (SI PAKDE) by the Jombang Regency Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) aims to improve the quality of regional tax services. However, there are indications that taxpayers still face technical obstacles in the form of unstable network connections, system delays, and inadequate information clarity. This study examines the influence of three dimensions of quality, application system quality, information content quality, and network infrastructure quality on the perception of SI PAKDE service quality. The research method uses a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique assisted by SmartPLS 4 software. The research sample consisted of 98 restaurant taxpayers who actively use SI PAKDE, selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. The results showed that simultaneously the three independent variables significantly influenced service quality with an R-square value of 0.865, which means these variables were able to explain 86.5% of the variation in service quality. Partially, it was found that network quality had a positive and most dominant influence on service quality (path coefficient 0.607; p = 0.000). System quality also had a significant effect, but with a lower magnitude (path coefficient 0.242; p=0.046). Conversely, information quality was found to have no significant effect on service quality in the context of restaurant taxpayers' use of the PAKDE Information System (path coefficient 0.114; p=0.354).

Abstract

Waste management issues have become a national concern with serious impacts on social, economic, health, and environmental aspects. The low level of awareness among communities and industrial actors in managing waste has contributed to environmental pollution. Along with the development of cities and regions, the volume of waste including used lubricating oil from vehicles and motorized machinery continues to increase. Not only in large cities, but small workshops in rural areas also generate used oil waste, resulting in its widespread distribution across Indonesia. This study employed a field experimental method. The approach was conducted by testing fuel mixture compositions in a stove fueled by used oil to observe the effect of fuel composition on the combustion process. The results indicate that variations in fuel composition significantly affect combustion quality. In the mixture of used oil and kerosene, a ratio of 40:60 produced the highest flame temperature of 378°C, the fastest cooking time of 4.05 minutes, and a blue flame indicating more optimal combustion. In contrast, the 60:40 mixture resulted in the lowest temperature of 318°C, the longest cooking time of 5.07 minutes, and a predominantly orange flame. For the mixture of used oil and biodiesel (biosolar), the 40:60 ratio also demonstrated the best performance, achieving the highest flame temperature of 380°C, the fastest cooking time of 3.52 minutes, and a stable blue flame.

Abstract

In a cooperation agreement between a developer and a landowner for real estate housing development, the written contract resulted in a breach of contract (default) that caused losses to the landowner. The focus of this study is to examine the breach of contract and the factors causing it in the housing development cooperation agreement between the landowner and the developer, as well as the consequences of the breach and the legal protection available to the landowner. The research method used is descriptive, with data collected through interviews, documentation, and data analysis. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the landowner suffered several losses due to the developer’s failure to comply with the agreed terms in the real estate housing development cooperation agreement. In the implementation of the agreement, the developer did not fulfill its responsibility to construct all the houses as stipulated in the contract. As a result, the landowner did not receive their entitled rights under the agreement and was unable to reuse the land due to the stalled construction caused by the developer’s cessation of the housing development project. Compensation may be resolved through deliberation or by entering into a new agreement outside the main contract as a form of accountability for the consequences. The implementation of the real estate housing development cooperation agreement between the developer and the landowner does not contradict the principles of contract execution.

Abstract

This article analyzes the performance of generator set (genset) synchronization systems using the Dead Bus Close Before Excitation (CBE) method compared to the live bus method, and evaluates the dynamic response of gensets through block load testing, PID tuning, and burning tests. The test results show that the Dead Bus CBE synchronization method achieves an average synchronization time of approximately 9 seconds, faster than the live bus method, which requires about 18 seconds, resulting in a time efficiency improvement of ±50%. This improvement directly impacts the reliability of the backup power system and reduces dependence on Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) battery capacity. Block load testing shows that the genset can handle 0–50% load with stable voltage and frequency responses, meeting the requirements of ISO 8528-5. In the 0–100% block load test, a voltage drop of up to –19% and a frequency decrease of –9% were observed, with a recovery time of approximately 5.5 seconds, classified as a conditional pass according to the standard. PID tuning results on the Digital Automatic Voltage Regulator (DAVR) and governor were proven to improve transient response, reduce voltage drop magnitude, and enhance system stability during synchronization and sudden load acceptance. Additionally, the burning test results indicate that the genset can operate continuously under high load with stable voltage, frequency, and thermal parameters without triggering protection faults. Overall, this study demonstrates that implementing Dead Bus CBE synchronization supported by proper PID tuning can improve the response speed, stability, and reliability of gensets as backup power sources for critical loads.

Abstract

This study aims to describe parents’ perceptions of strengthening Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for children in the digital era in Tanjung Mulia Village, as well as to identify the forms of reinforcement applied by parents and the supporting and inhibiting factors involved. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving parents of children aged 6–14 who actively use digital technology. The findings indicate that most parents hold positive perceptions regarding the importance of strengthening Islamic education, as technological advancement significantly influences children’s morals and behavior. The forms of reinforcement implemented by parents include religious habituation, role modeling, supervision of gadget use, and the utilization of Islamic digital applications and media to support religious learning. Supporting factors include the availability of Islamic digital resources, parental awareness, and a religious family environment. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors consist of parents’ limited digital literacy, children’s gadget dependency, and parents’ busy schedules that reduce direct interaction with their children. This study concludes that strengthening Islamic education in the digital era requires a synergy of parental role modeling, supervision, and digital literacy to ensure that technology contributes positively to children’s religious character development.

Abstract

The development of gender justice discourse in contemporary Islam demonstrates a significant diversity of paradigms of thought, particularly in responding to the tension between classical fiqh normative texts and modern equality demands. This study aims to analyze the differences in the characteristics of Islamic legal thought paradigms, their critical implications for the implementation of family law, and their values in the context of maqasid al-sharia. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach with a normative-empirical literature study, the analysis is carried out through mapping textual and contextual paradigms, critical evaluation, and transformational reconstruction based on the Qur'an and Hadith. The results show a gap between the ontological principle of equality in the Qur'an and formalistic legal practices that are still influenced by patriarchal culture, where the dominance of textual approaches has not fully realized the benefit (maslahah) for women. The study recommends a paradigm synthesis for the development of applicable, inclusive, and gender-just Islamic law.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of cow manure and eco enzyme application on the growth and yield of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.), as well as their interaction. This study used a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of two factors. The first factor was cow manure application, divided into three levels: K0 = control (no treatment), K1 = 2 kg/plot, and K2 = 4 kg/plot. The second factor was eco enzyme application, divided into three levels: E0 = control (no treatment), E1 = 400 ml/plant, and E2 = 800 ml/plant. The observed parameters included number of leaves (leaves), plant height (cm), number of flowers (buds), number of fruits per sample (fruits), number of fruits per plot (fruits), fruit weight per sample (grams), and fruit weight per plot (grams). Statistical analysis showed that the application of cow manure had no significant effect on flowering time, but had a significant and highly significant effect on number of leaves, plant height, number of fruits per sample, number of fruits per plot, fruit weight per sample, and fruit weight per plot. The best treatment was K2 (4 kg/plot). Statistical analysis also indicated that eco enzyme application had no significant effect on number of leaves, plant height, and flowering time, but had a highly significant effect on number of fruits per sample, number of fruits per plot, fruit weight per sample (grams), and fruit weight per plot (grams). The interaction between cow manure and eco enzyme application showed no significant effect on number of leaves (leaves), plant height (cm), flowering time (days), number of fruits per plot (fruits), and fruit weight per sample (grams), but had a significant effect on number of fruits per sample (fruits) and fruit weight per plot (grams).
