Abstract

Assessment is an important step in the management of Guidance and Counseling (BK). Without an assessment it is impossible for us to know and identify the success of the implementation of the planned guidance program. Assessment of the guidance program is an attempt to assess the extent to which the implementation of the program has achieved the stated goals. In other words, the success of the program in achieving goals is a condition to be seen through assessment activities. Assessment of guidance and counseling service activities in schools is all efforts, actions or processes to determine the degree of quality progress of activities related to the implementation of guidance and counseling programs in schools by refers to certain criteria or benchmarks in accordance with the program being implemented

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant effect of cartoon film media on the vocabulary of English students. This type of research is quantitative research and was conducted using two classes, the experimental class consisted of 30 students and the control class consisted of 30 students. In the data collection technique, the researcher used pre-test, treatment and post-test by giving a reading comprehension test consisting of 10 multiple choice items for each test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence from the use of cartoon film media. This can be seen from the difference between the students’ mean scores from the pre-test and post-test in the experimental class which increased from 44 to 75. The average post-test score in the control class was 52 while the post-test score in the experimental class was 75. Higher than the average value of the control class. That means, the cartoon film media strategy can improve students’ understanding of English vocabulary.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether or not there is an influence Significance of the Reading Partner Strategy to improve understanding reading students in class XI at Mas Yp. Haji Datuk Abdullah. Method of This research is a qualitative method. The sample of this research is class XI IPA and XI IPS at Mas Yp. Haji Datuk Abdullah in the 2021/2022 school year. In this research, researcher took 60 students as a sample. The researcher used 10 multiple choice questions to measure students' reading comprehension. In data collection techniques, researchers using pre-test, treatment and post-test by giving tests reading comprehension. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence from the use of paired reading strategies. This can be seen from the difference between the students' mean scores from the pre-test and post-test in class experiment which increased from 48 to 74. The mean score of post-test in class control is 31 while the post-test score in the experimental class is 52 more higher than the average value of the control class. That means, pair reading strategy can be applied to improve students' reading comprehension.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain whether there is a positive and significant effect of using finger puppet media on the speaking ability of children in Paud Arifah Kec. Battlefield? The type used in this research is the pre-experimental method and the research design used in this study is a one group pretest and posttest design. The population in this study were all children in PAUD Arifah Kec. Medan Perjuangan T.A 2021-2022 which consists of a class of 15 children with a research sample of 15 children consisting of 7 boys and 8 girls. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. Based on the results of the t test, the value of tcount> ttable is 16.57 > 2.144 at the level of = 0.05 which states that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be stated that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an effect of using finger puppet media on children's speaking ability at PAUD Arifah, Medan Perjuangan District T.A 2021-2022. Thus, the hypothesis proposed is that there is a significant effect using finger puppet media on the speaking ability of children in Paud Arifah Kec. Field of Struggle T.A 2021-2022.

Abstract

This study aims to improve children's discipline through the game of snakes and ladders telling stories at PAUD Arifah Kec. Field of Struggle for Academic Year 2021-2022. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out collaboratively with classroom teachers which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were children consisting of 12 children, 5 boys and 7 girls. Methods of data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the average percentage of children's discipline during the pre-cycle was 36.80% which was included in the criteria for starting to develop and increased in the first cycle with an average percentage of 60.40% which was included in the criteria for developing as expected and in the second cycle. the average percentage showed an increase of 87.49% which was included in the very well developed criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the discipline of children in PAUD Arifah Kec. The Struggle Field for the 2021-2022 Academic Year can be improved through the story-telling snake and ladder game.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study, among others, namely "Is there any effect of using flash cards media on English vocabulary mastery of children aged 4-5 years in Pilot Kindergarten?". This type of research includes True Experimental Design research, namely Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were all kindergarten children in group B in TK PILOT, totaling 50 children, consisting of 2 classes, namely B-1 totaling 25 children and B-2 totaling 25 children with a sample of class B-1 totaling 25 children. (15 women & 10 men) who were treated with tape recorder media. The instrument used in this study was a structured observation of children's English vocabulary mastery. After the data is collected, then the next step is to test the hypothesis using a one-party t test with a real level of = 0.05. Based on the data from the observation of the use of flash cards on the mastery of English vocabulary, it was found that the mastery of the children's English vocabulary was in the good category. Based on the results of observations of the use of tape recorder media on the mastery of English vocabulary, it was found that the mastery of the children's English vocabulary was quite good. This shows that the level of mastery of English vocabulary of children in the flash card media class using flash cards media is better developed than the children in the tape recorder media class using a tape recorder media. Based on the results of the t-test obtained 8.86 while 1.69, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the use of flash cards media on the mastery of children's English vocabulary in Santa Lusia Sei Rattan Kindergarten.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is student learning independence in face-to-face learning limited to mathematics in Class V at SD Negeri 102004 Tiga Juhar with low, medium and high categories?". The research method used was descriptive qualitative. describes the independence of student learning in face-to-face learning is limited to mathematics. The subjects in this study were SD Negeri 102004 Tiga Juhar fifth grade students, totaling 25 students. Collecting data in interpreting the data in the study obtained from questionnaires and interviews. Qualitative data in this study were obtained from data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. moderate learning by 36%. Learning independence is high at 24%. There are several factors that influence each indicator of learning independence, including the lack of utilizing and finding relevant sources and the lack of self-initiative.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze terms of word prominence and the meaning of hyperbole in the advertisement of Milna baby food products on television. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive data analysis. The source of data in this study was obtained from advertisements for Milna baby food products on television. The data collection of this research used the listening method, recording technique and documenting it. The data analysis technique used was grouping the data, identified, described, and analyzed one by one to get the desired results and draw conclusions from the data. The aspect of highlighting the hyperbole figure of speech found in the advertisement for Milna baby food products on television, includes the aspect of highlighting the word on: a) the advantages of using it, b) indirectly comparing it with other brands. The meaning of hyperbole in the advertisement for Milna baby food products on television emphasizes more on the ingredients, quality and benefits of the product.

Abstract

This type of research uses a cooperative learning strategy model of exchanging pairs using poster media and assignments in the form of LKPD in Biology subjects. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the effectiveness of the learning strategies used to improve learning outcomes and activities of class X MIPA 1 students at MAS Kuala Madu Langkat. It is known that the cooperative learning strategy model of exchanging pairs using poster media and assignments in the form of LKPD can be said to be effective because it can support the effectiveness and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of communication between teachers and students on learning interactions through virtual classes at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan. The background of this research is that the success of the teaching and learning process is determined by the teacher factor. The teacher's task is to convey subject matter to students through communication interactions in the teaching and learning process that he does. The success of the teacher in delivering the material really depends on the smooth interaction of communication between the teacher and his students. The lack of communication has an impact on the message conveyed by the teacher. To achieve teaching and learning interactions, it is necessary to have clear communication between teachers (communicators) and students (communicants). So that students can be successful in their learning tasks, as well as teachers can successfully teach and educate in accordance with the goals to be achieved. This study uses simple linear regression data analysis which aims to determine whether there is an influence between teacher and student communication on learning interactions through virtual classes. Data collection techniques with the method of documentation and questionnaires. The questionnaire method was used to determine the level of communication between teachers and students on learning interactions through virtual classes. Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that it can provide information and input for teachers and students that communication in education is very important and has a good effect on learning interactions through students' virtual classes.
