Abstract

This study is a quantitative research designed to determine 1. the impact of the Collaborative Teamwork Learning (CTL) model on students’ social interactions in the Fantasy Makeup course and 2. the effect of the practicum-based Collaborative Teamwork Learning (CTL) model on students social interactions in the Fantasy Makeup course within the Bachelor of Home Economics (S1 PKK) program at the Faculty of Home Economics (JPP FT), University of Makassar (UNM). This quantitative research employs a descriptive and inferential approach. The study sample consisted of 29 students, with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis to examine the implementation of CTL and social interaction, as well as simple linear regression analysis to test its influence. Research Results 1. The results indicate that the implementation of CTL based on practical training regarding student social interaction falls into the fair to good category, with indicators of communication and active participation reaching 80%, cooperation 75%, learning readiness 70%, and discipline 60%, which should be improved. 2. The effect of the laboratory-based Collaborative Teamwork Learning (CTL) model on students’ social interaction in the Fantasy Makeup course in the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Makassar (UNM), is positive and significant, with the regression equation Y = 13.20 + 0.72X, a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.72 (strong category), a coefficient of determination of 51.8%, and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates that the CTL model is effective in enhancing communication, cooperation, and active student participation, although it is not yet optimally consistent due to the influence of other factors. In conclusion, it is necessary to motivate students and design more structured and varied laboratory activities to ensure all students are actively engaged, enhance teamwork development through clear role assignments for students, and strengthen regular guidance and feedback to help students become more prepared and disciplined in their studies. This will foster a conducive learning environment that encourages more intensive communication and provides practical facilities to maximize students learning motivation.

Abstract

In the era of ever-evolving industrial automation, efficiency and safety in material handling processes are crucial. This study discusses the design and construction of an electric-based automatic hand stacker as an alternative solution to the manual systems that are still widely used. This system is designed to minimize human labor in the process of lifting and moving goods, as well as to improve work precision and safety. Test results show that the electric hand stacker is capable of lifting loads of up to 500 kg to a maximum height of 1.3 meters. As the load weight increases on the hand stacker, the safe lifting height decreases. This system is expected to serve as an efficient and economical alternative for small to medium-scale logistics operations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design a pumping system in coal mining excavations so that pumping can run optimally, producing maximum flow according to the target, by considering various aspects including remaining in ideal conditions, efficient according to pump capacity, minimum fuel ratio along with high component service life according to pump standards. The type of pump used in this study is MF 420 EX. The method used in this study takes a case study at a mining company site asam coal project by collecting data at two open pit points, namely site plan pit 4 block 27 and site plan pit 11 block 36. The results obtained from the study are, for Pit 4 block 27 the total initial head loss is 165.17 m and the target at the end of the project is 194.69 m. initial fuel consumption is 120.56 l / hour and the target is 142.10 l / hour. For pit 11, block 36, the initial total head loss is 137.00 m and the final target is 152.00 m. Initial fuel consumption is 100.00 l/hour and the target is 113 l/hour. The results can be used as a reference for accurate planning in accordance with the planned calculations
