Abstract

The development of technology and communication has led to increasing competition, especially in the field of marketing, one of which is in the cellular phone cards business. There are several companies that innovate in issuing cellular card products with their respective advantages to attract consumers' interest, be it the phone cards, postpaid cards or internet quota cards. In marketing segmentation, the decision to purchase starter packs by customers or buyers based on the benefits or benefits obtained is certainly different. The purpose of this study was to classify the types of starter packs used by students of the Mathematics Education Department at Bina Bangsa University based on their marketing. This research is a quantitative research with survey method with Cluster Analysis. Cluster analysis used is the Hierarchy Method using agglomerative grouping procedures. The results obtained in the calculation of the euclidean distance between Telkomsel Cards and Axis Cards is 542.76 while the euclidean distance between Telkomsel Cards and XL Cards is 486.34, for the euclidean distance between Telkomsel Cards and Three Cards is 671.31 while the euclidean distance between Telkomsel Cards and Indosat Cards is 809.13. The conclusion is that there are 2 clusters where the grouping of starter packs into 2 clusters has the composition or number of groups of each cluster. The minimum is cluster 1 which consists of only 1 starter card and the most is cluster 2 which consists of 5 starter cards

Abstract

Life insurance is insurance that handles the risks that occur in human life. Insurance company as a handler where the insurance company will pay a certain amount of money in case of death risk to the insurance policyholder. There are two types of premiums, namely net premiums and gross premiums. The premium to be calculated is a single premium. Premium payments on life insurance in the same time, lifetime and bi-use in this study are payments made at once or can be called a single premium. Based on the example of the case of prebandan term life insurance premiums, life insurance for life and bipurpose life insurance between men and women. The value of a single premium of life insurance as long as life has a lower pemi niai and the single lai pemi of bipurpose life insurance has a higher pemi value

Abstract

This study aims to determine the value of the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) factor on the cream filling machine at PT XYZ. OEE is one of the standards for measuring manufacturing productivity and identifying the percentage of production time that is productive. OEE Is the single best metric for identifying losses, comparing progress, and increasing productivity of manufacturing equipment. This research was conducted at the company PT. XYZ by taking production data for the period November 2020 - February 2021 on the cream filling machine at the company PT XYZ. Based on data processing carried out on the cream filling machine at PT XYZ, in OEE 3 measurement factors are used as references to determine the OEE value on a machine, including Availability, Performance, Quality, the results of the availability, performance, and quality measurements are 90, 64%, 97.27%, and 97.52%, it can be seen that the Rate of Quality in this filling machine is 97.52%, which means that the product does not meet the World Class requirements, namely > 99.9%. The results of OEE obtained are 85.97%. It can be concluded that the OEE value of the cream filling machine at PT XYZ meets the World Class OEE requirements, namely > 85%

Abstract

Distribution creates a smooth flow of marketing and is a link between production and consumption activities. Pharmaceutical companies that can distribute products to their customers quickly according to the time, number and conditions that have been agreed will get more attention from their customers compared to companies that cannot meet it. To achieve the best distribution, it is necessary to place a good distribution center. The Center of Graivty method is used to determine the location of a new external warehouse based on the coordinate point of the distributor or customer of PT. GPO.  The results of the research location of distribution centers are -6.653153379 and 107.5731519 located in Karangpedas Village, Kiarapedes District, Purwakarta Regency. The total distance reduction obtained from this study was as far as 145.43 km. The total cost of transportation is assumed to be directly proportional to the distance traveled, so that with the reduction of total mileage, transportation costs will also be smaller

Abstract

PT. XYZ is one of the pharmaceutical companies that always make continuous improvements. Based on observations at the company, there is a decrease in the performance of the Washing Vial machine used for the washing and sterilization process of the vial. This problem causes a large number of rejected products so that production targets are not achieved. This study aims to calculate the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and Six Big Losses values of gilowy machines so that they can be known the largest losses incurred by the machine. Based on calculations obtained OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) value of 53.68% with Availability of 63.36%, Performance Ratio of 87.21% and Quality Ratio of 97.59%. The calculation of the Six Big Losses is equipment failure loss of 36.64%, Setup Time Losses of 17.07%, Reduced Speed Losses of 8.36%, Idle and Minor Stoppage of 40.25%, Defect Losses of 1.36% and Reduced Yield Loss of 0%. From these results show Idle and Minor Stoppage to be the biggest factor losses that occur in the Gilowy machine

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in a pharmaceutical company in Bandung which is currently moving from an increasingly widespread industrial location, so that there are new products. TPM is a useful system in increasing productivity, increasing productivity on various production tools and equipment with only the necessary maintenance investment. Evaluation of the implementation of the TPM pillars is carried out through the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) analysis method, visual management, lost time injury (LTI) and time accident rate (TAR). Another result is that the implementation of the planned maintenance pillar has not reached the target according to the standard, both in terms of availability and performance rate parameters. The pillar that has not been implemented in this company is autonomous maintenance. The conclusion from this research is that PT XYZ has not effectively implemented TPM in its factory operations. The recommendation from this research is the need for the implementation of autonomous maintenance pillars and scheduled replacement of engine components to solve problems that exist in the factory and can be focused in particular on critical work areas

Abstract

Competition in the manufacturing industry is now very fierce. The growth of the industry is running rapidly and that is why competition in each industry is so fierce. PT XYZ is a glassware factory and produces glass tools produced through several stages of the process. Currently the company's capabilities cannot meet market demand. This causes backorders to occur almost every month. This inability is due to the large number of defective products (defects) and waste (waste). This allows the company to continue to manage existing production systems effectively and efficiently. Implementation of lean six sigma in identifying defects and waste. Fixed defects and reduced drilling to increase production output. Stream mapping is used for identification against waste. While the identification of defects is done by control charts. After obtaining the data and analyzed using the cause effect diagram and pareto diagram so as to produce a series of recommendations for system improvement. The results of the research obtained by analyzing the root cause analysis method is that the cause of defective products is in the process of machine preparation and the inaccuracy of the operator tuning the machine. While the cause of waste occurs due to breakdown in the machine used in the production process.

Abstract

Smooth production is very important to achieve the targets to be achieved by producers efficiently. This is also done at PT. ABC which produces various products in the form of bed linen. In the production process PT. ABC still has many production processes that consume a lot of production time (waste), starting from the beginning of the work to the time of product delivery to the customer, especially the high process that experiences lead times, equipment and machines that do not meet production capacity. The purpose of this study is to provide suggestions for improvement in reducing waste that occurs at PT. ABC This research method is a value stream mapping (VSM) which will map the value of each activity in each production process that occurs. It aims to determine which activities provide added value (value added) and which do not provide added value (non-value added) and can provide suggestions. improvements to the future state map to reduce time waste that occurs in the production process activity of the door panel box 7. The results of the approach using the value stream mapping tool and applying the proposed improvements, where the analysis compares the analysis of the current state map with the future state map. The results of this study get the results of the current state map analysis for value added activities of 499.8 seconds and non-value-added activities of 801.27 seconds

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Human Development Index (HDI), poverty and village funds on Village Development approached with the Village Development Index (IPD) and the Building Village Index (IDM). The data used is published data from the Ministry of Villages PDTT and the Central Statistics Agency in 2018. The analysis model used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) model. The results of the village fund hypothesis test have not had a direct effect on IPD and have not had an indirect effect on IDM. The poverty rate has a significant negative effect directly on IPD and indirectly affects IDM, as well as HDI has a significant positive effect on IPD and indirectly affects IDM. IPD has a significant positive effect directly on IDM. A comprehensive and targeted policy is needed so that village development can take place in a sustainable manner. In addition, supervision is needed related to the use of village funds so that they are right on target in developing villages

Abstract

This study aims to determine the causality relationship between the growth of the money supply (JUB) and inflation. The data used is panel data from 6 ASEAN countries in the 2009-2020 period. The analysis used is the Panel Vector Auto Regression (PVAR) model. The results showed a two-way causality relationship between the inflation rate and the growth of the money supply. The increase in inflation will reduce the growth of the money supply. Conversely an increase in the money supply will increase inflation. The government should keep these two macro variables balanced through existing fiscal and monetary instruments, for example with interest rate policy and price control, especially related to the price of staples and fuel
