Abstract

The problem of high transportation costs is usually closely related to the selling value of the product to be marketed because it concerns the HPP of the product, so the selection of methods to minimize transportation costs needs to be done. The data obtained is data from a PT. X which has several agents that will market its products to consumers. The data is then processed using the North West Corner (NWC) method and continued with Lingo Software to optimize the cost of translation. The results obtained from both methods are Rp 177,000,000 using the North West Corner (NWC) method and Rp 171,200,000 using lingo software.

Abstract

PT. Rebbak Trolih Lestari is a company engaged in Elpiji Gas Distribution from PT. Pertamina Indonesia. The company has one warehouse hoarding elpiji gas cylinders and has a problem of lack of supplies that cause unmet demand. PT. Rebbak Trolih Lestari does not have good distribution planning. With this problem, research was conducted using the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method. Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) is a method of handling procurement in a distribution network. The purpose of this study is to distribute good activities so that success in meeting customer demand will be more optimal, improved sales performance in fulfilling orders on time and the right amount of inventory

Abstract

Transportation models play an important role in controlling shipping costs and distributing products in a company. Each company has a different way of distributing products. Uneven distribution to the company, making one of the factors of the problem in the progress of the company itself. PT XYZ is one of the bar soap manufacturing companies in Indonesia. The least cost method itself is one of the methods that can be used to optimize transportation and distribution costs. The least cost method prioritizes allocating from the lowest cost in the transportation matrix. LINGO is a simple software that can be used to calculate linear and non-linear optimization values.

Abstract

Transportation is a very important means in supporting the success of the delivery of a good. In almost all expedition service companies, transportation acts as the spearhead in the company's success because it can be one of the factors of consumer satisfaction. Transportation problems occur a lot in the distribution of goods that are not appropriate, so the cost of shipping can be very high. By using the transportation model, shipping costs can be optimized and distribution lines will be more precise. The research method is used to solve various problems that occur by using Least Cost by evaluating stepping stone methods and proving using Lingo

Abstract

The development of the times demands an effective and efficient method of activity. One of them is the method for determining the path. Dynamic human activities and being required to make displacement require a method that helps in determining the shortest path. Determining the shortest path has a reason to save fuel, time and power. One method that can be used for closest distance search is to use Dijkstra's algorithm. Dijkstra algorithm is an algorithm that applies a graph of direction and weight, where the distance between points is the weight of each arrow. This algorithm will look for the path with the minimum cost between one point and another. In addition, Dijkstra's algorithm can also be used to calculate the total cost or cost of the shortest trajectory that has been formed

Abstract

COVID-19 became a pandemic that occurred in many countries around the world including Indonesia. On April 4, 2021, confirmed positive cases in Indonesia were recorded at 1,534,255 cases. West Java occupies the highest position recorded on April 10, 2021 amounting to 256,834 cases until July 3, 2021 positive cases have reached 2,228,938 positive cases of Covid-19 virus. Various ways have been done by the government to reduce the growth rate and spread of the Covid-19 virus, one of which is the provision of vaccines to the community. Distribution of vaccines needs to be done as quickly as possible, so an appropriate distribution strategy is needed. This study aims to determine the location of the Covid-19 vaccine distribution center in West Java. The method used in determining the location point of the vaccine distribution center is the Center of Gravity method. Based on the calculations obtained the coordinate point of the location of the Covid-19 vaccine distribution center in West Java is -6.83041 and 107.73030 with a total distribution cost of Rp31,939,000. The location of the vaccine distribution center provides a greater cost value compared to the cost in the initial condition of Rp 30,091,000. In terms of distance, the location of the latest distribution center resulted in a smaller distance of 3055.3 km compared to the initial condition with a total distance of 3389.8 km. The distance produced by the distribution center is shorter so that it will increase the efficiency of delivery time which will make the distribution process faster

Abstract

Optimization of distribution transportation costs of PT. Batara Husindo Raya aims to obtain optimal transportation costs in the distribution of the Covid-19 Swab Test Tool from agents to hospitals. The application of the initial solution of the transportation model using the Least Cost method and determining the optimal solution using the Lingo method. From the calculation results obtained the initial solution of . 120,000,000 and the optimal solution is . 120,000,000. This shows that the calculation using the lowest cost method and the term to produce the same optimal value

Abstract

Poverty is often a topic discussed and debated in various national and international forums. The problem of poverty does not seem to be finished being discussed every day. Many factors have contributed to the high poverty rate in Indonesia, and one of them is the high unemployment rate. This research is aimed at modeling of open unemployment rate and percentage of poor population with nonparametric regression. The methods used are Nadaraya Watson Estimator (NEW), Local Polynomial Estimator (LPE) and Smoothing Spline regression. In choosing the best model using the smallest Mean Square Error (MSE) value. The pattern of the relationship between unemployment and the percentage of poor population based on the scatter plot shows an unclear pattern and does not follow a parametric regression pattern. The results of the comparison of the MSE value, smoothing spline has the smaller value than NWE

Abstract

Mathematics is an analytical tool used for problem solving, which is commonly found in business economics. The more time develops, the problem of the economic complex is getting more complex so that it is possible to switch the level of difficulty solving economic problems into solving mathematical problems. Taxes and subsidies are a part of the economy that affects market balance. With taxes, the balance position will change because producers offer higher selling prices. As a result, the market balance formed becomes higher than the balance price before there is tax and the amount of balance will be less. The imposition of taxes and subsidies is very influential for the balance of the market. This study aims to find out the relationship of taxes and subsidies to market balance. The methods used in this research are literature and exploratory studies. The results of research that has been done can be concluded that the influence of both on market balance is opposite or opposite. This can be seen if the factor that is considered fixed changes, then the bid function will change places or shift

Abstract

Meatballs are a type of meatball that is commonly found in Indonesian cuisine. Meatballs are generally made from a mixture of ground beef and tapioca flour, but there are also meatballs made from chicken, fish, or shrimp. Although meatballs are a chinese food, but this food has been found in Indonesia and is common. Meatballs have the characteristics of each region in Indonesia and many people like it. The purpose of this study is to optimize the sales profits of fish meatballs and fish meatball crackers. To obtain maskimal benefits, the right formula is needed through production planning with linear programming. One method that can be used in linear progamming is the simplex method that serves to find the optimum solution. Linear programming is a simplex method that works to find the optimum solution. Based on the results of linear programming analysis of the amount of fish meatball production obtained optimal profit formula Z = 500,000X1 + 200,000X2. From the calculation of the simplex method it can be concluded that there is an increase in sales profit of Rp.875,000 if the production of fish meatballs against the type of fish meatballs (X2) is increased as much as the previous production amount. The difference between the profit before and after optimization amounted to Rp. 175,000
