Abstract

This study aimed to determine the dosage of bokasi fertilizer and the type of bokasi fertilizer that appropriate to increase the yield of tomato plants. The experiment was carried out at Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian Dan Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S) Lestari Makmur, Jl. Wates Km.12 Pollaman of Argorejo Village, Sedayu District, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. The research location has altitude of 149 meters above sea level, temperature 24.5 - 32.5 ℃, the rainfall 1500 - 2000 mm per year and air humidity 65 -95%. The study was conducted in June - October 2018. The study was conducted by 3 × 2 factorial experiment arranged in a completely randomized design with four replications. The first factor was the dosage of the bokasi fertilizer, which was 3, 6 and 9 ton.ha-1. The second factor is the type of bokasi fertilizer namely goat manure and cow dung. Observation variables included plant height, leaf number, flowering age, fruiting age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit diameter, fresh weight and dry weight of plants. Analysis of the date using analysis of variance followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a significant level of 5%. The results of the experiment indicated analysis showed no interaction between the dosage and the type of bokasi fetilizer to plant height, flowering age, fruiting age, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight and number of leaves. While there is an interaction between the dosage and the type of bokasi fertilizer on the number of fruits, fruit weight and diameter of the fruit. The highest yield was obtained on the type of goat manure bokasi with a dose of 9 tons. ha-1

Abstract

The aims of the study was to determine the right dosage of urea fertilizer and the concentration of bamboo rhizobacteria on the growth and yield of beans. This research was carried out in the prosperous central Lestari Makmur located in Agrorejo Village, Sedayu District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The location of this study is altitude of  ± 88 meters above sea level (mdpl), soil type is regosol, with soil pH of 5,5 - 6,7, the avarage temperature is 26-32 0C and rainfall 1,654.00 mm per year. This research was conducted in March until May 2018. The study was arranged in a factorial randomized complete block design (RAKL) of three replications. The first factor was the dose urea fertilizer (D) which consists of three levels, namely: 20, 30 and 40 kg per ha-1. The second factor was the concentration of bamboo rhizobacteria (R) which consists of three levels namely: 2.5; 5.0 and 7.5%, so that 27 treatment units are obtained.  Observation variables include stem lenght, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, number of pod per plant, pod lenght, pod weight per plot and pod weight per hectare. The results of the study were analyzed by variance at 5% real level, followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test at 5% level. The results showed there were an interaction between the dose of urea fertilizer and concentration bamboo rhizobacteria on pod weight per hectare of beans plants. The giving doses of urea fertilizer up to 40 kg ha-1  did not affect the growth and yield as well as the concentration of bamboo rhizobacteria up to 7,5%. The combination of 20 kg ha-1 urea fertilizer and 5,0%  bamboo rhizobacteria concentration gave higher pod yield per hectare than the control (without treatment)

Abstract

This research was to determine the effect of drying treatment and milling frequency on the yield and physical quality of rice situ bagendit varieties. This research was conducted in jogonalan sub-district, Klaten Regency. The area is located at an altitude of 114 masl and is included in the lowlands, then has an average rainfall of 8mm-350mm every month. The average air temperature is 280-300 C with 153mm/s wind speed every month and has regosol soil type. This research was conducted in August-September 2018, using a 3x3 factorial trial design arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The first factor is the drying time which consists of 3 levels, namely drying 10 hours, 20 hours and 30 hours. The second factor is the grinding frequency which consists of three levels, namely grinding once, grinding twice, and grinding three times. Each experimental unit was combined and repeated as many as three replications. Observation variables included the percentage of grain and rice moisture content, milled yield, percentage of head rice, broken rice, menir rice, limestone grains, grain grains, weight of husks and bran, as well as the degree of social value. The results of the data analysis showed an interaction between the two experimental factors on the percentage of rice moisture content, milled yield, broken lime grains, whole rice, menir rice, broken rice, husk weight, and milling degree. The treatment of drying for 20 hours and the frequency of milling three times showed the highest yield, then on the physical quality of rice the combination of 20 hours of drying treatment and one-time grinding showed the highest yield of whole rice

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of rate of cow manure and the right source of humic nitrogen on the growth and yield of aloe vera plants in sand fields. The study was conducted in Cangkringan Hamlet, Poncosari, Srandakan, Bantul, D.I. Yogyakarta. The study was conducted from November 2017 - March 2018. The study was arranged in a Complete Randomized Block Design (RAKL), factorial 2 replications. The first factor is the dose of cow manure, consisting of two levels, namely 30 tons per ha and 45 tons per ha. The second factor, the type of nitrogen fertilizer supplemented with humic acid, consisted of urea + humic acid, ZA + humic acid, NPK + humic acid, KNO3 + humic acid. Analysis with variance at 5% real level, followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) and level of 5%. Observations were observed, namely leaf length, leaf width, leaf thickness, leaf fresh weight, leaf dry weight, and number of leaves. The results of this study show that there is no significant difference and the interaction between cow manure and humic nitrogen sources on all variables observed in the growth of aloe vera plants in sandy soil

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of NPK fertilizer dosage and when  trimming lateral shoots to growth and yield of curly chili plants. This research was conducted in Kukap, Poncosari, Srandakan, Bantul, Yogyakarta with a height of 20 masl, regusol soil type, pH between 5.3 - 6.8 and average temperature 260 C - 380 C , and is held from September to December 2018. This study was conducted using a 2 x 2 + 1 control factorial experiment compiled in a Complete Randomized Block Design (RAKL). The treatment consists of two factors, the first factor is the treatment of pruning. The second factor is the dose of NPK fertilizer. Each treatment was repeated three times. The results of the analysis showed that there were interactions between the two factors in the outcome variable, where the control treatment of pruning at 7 days and 14 days and the fertilizer dose of 1.25 tons/ha gave the highest fruit weight yield. Giving fertilizer doses and pruning times showed no significant effect on plant growth and quality

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of mulch type and cow manure dosage on the growth and yield of cultivated peanut plants. Experiments were carried out at the "Lestari Makmur" self-help agriculture and pedestrian training center in April-June 2018, in the Polaman hamlet, Argorejo village, Sedayu sub-district, Bantul district, Yogyakarta, altitude of about 88 meters above sea level, and temperature between 26ºC-32ºC. Regosol soil type. The experiment was conducted using a factorial 3x3 trial with 1 control, which was arranged in a completely randomized block design (RAKL). The treatment consists of 2 factors. The first factor is the type of mulch consisting of 3 levels, namely: straw mulch, husk mulch, plastic mulch and one control. Both doses of cow manure consisting of 3 levels: 10, 15 and 20 tons haˉ¹. Each treatment was repeated 3 times. Observations included plant height, number of leaves, stover fresh weight, dry weight, weight of 100 seeds, number of filled pods / plants, weight of fresh pods / plants, dry pod weight / plants, fresh pod weight / plot, dry pod weight / plot and seed weight / hectare. The results showed that the treatment of mulch did not affect growth. The treatment of cow manure dosage had no effect on growth. The treatment of plastic mulch and husk mulch gave higher yields than straw mulch and control. Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the right concentration of rattlepod rhizobacteria and the number of seeds in pods on growth, yield and percentage of seeds in pods of peanut. The experiment was carried out in Sumber Gamol, Balecatur, Gamping, Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Location of research altitude ± 94 m above sea level (masl), regosol soil type with soil pH 5,6 - 6,0 and temperatures between 24 - 32 oC, rain fall 2000 – 3000 cc year-1. The experiment was arranged by Design Split Plots. The main plots were the concentration of rattlepod rhizobacteria (K), namely 1%, 2% and 3%, the subplots were the number of seeds in pods (P), namely seed pods 1, 2 and 3, each treatment 3 replication. Observation variables included plant height, number of branches, number of leaves, leaf area, leaf fresh weight, number of flowers, number of pods, percentage of pods, percentage of seeds in pods, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, Relative Growth Rate (RGR) and seed weight per hectare. Data were analysis by analysis of variance followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test at 5% significance level. Analysis result showed there was no interaction between the combination of rattlepod rhizobacteria concentrations and the number of seeds in the pod on the entire observation variable. The concentration of rattlepod rhizobacteria does not increase the growth and yield of peanuts. The number of seed pods 1 and 2 increases growth but does not increase the yield of peanuts. Seed pods 2 produced the highest percentage of 2 seed pods, while seeded pods 3 produced a significant data result and a lower percentage of 2 seed pods, but 3 seeded pods increased

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the kinds and dosage of organic fertilizers on the growth and yield of jack bean cultivated on the grumosol soil. This research was conducted in March - July 2017 at the UPTD Balai Pengembangan Perbenihan Tanaman Pangan dan Holtikultura unit Kerja Gading,  Jl. Yogyakarta – Wonosari km 33, located in Gading, Playen, Gunung Kidul district, Special Region of Yogyakarta. It has an altitude of 200 meters above sea level with a daily average temperature of 27.7 oC and relative humidity of 80 - 85%. This research was a field experiment arranged with factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) 3 replications. The first factor was the kinds of organic fertilizer consisting of chicken manure, goat manure, cow manure, and green manure of gliriside. The second factor was the dosage of organic fertilizer consisting of 10, 15, and  20 ton.ha-1. Observation variables included plant height, number of leaves, number of flowers.plant-1, dry weight of plants, number of pods.plant-1, and seed weight.ha-1. Data were analyzed by variance at 5% level. The difference between treatments will be tested by the DMRT Multiple Range Test at a level of 5%. The results indicated that there was no interaction between the treatment of kind and dosages of organic fertilizers on the observation variables.Chicken manure application the growth of jack bean plant was not significantly different from the treatment of cow manure and green manure of gliriside, but it could produce better growth than goat manure treatment. Chicken manure yields the seed weight.ha-1 of jack bean plants not significantly different from green manure treatment, but could produce growth than goat and cow manure treatment. Dosage 10, 15, and 20 ton.ha-1 resulted growth and yield of jack bean not significantly different

Abstract

This study discusses the interaction between planting with legowo jajar planting system on the growth and yield of rice plants. This study was arranged in a 3x2 factorial Complete Group Randomized Design (RAKL) with 3 replications. The first factor is the jajar legowo (J) plant system consisting of three initials, namely 2: 1 (J1), 4: 1 (J2), and 6: 1 (J3). The second factor is the spacing of 2 levels, namely the spacing of 20cm (P1) and spacing of 22cm (P2). The growth variables collected were tall plants, fresh heavy plants, number of tillers, number of productive tillers, weight of 1000 seeds, yield per hectare while the yield variable was the average plant height, mean of fresh plants, average number of tillers, average number of productive tillers, weight of 1000 seeds , average per hectare of all growth and yield variables. Data variables were analyzed with beginner's fingerprint error rate of 5% or average analyzed by DMRT at an error rate of 5%. The results of this study indicate that there was no interaction between legowo row treatments and spacing. However, the Jajar Legowo 2: 1 cropping system showed the best results on all research variables. Whereas the treatment of 20cm spacing shows the best results compared to the treatment of 22cm spacing

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of goat fertilizer and Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) from goat manure on the response of the best growth of cacao (Thebroma cacao L.) seeds. The research is a field experiment compiled in a Randomized Complete Group Design (RAKL). The study was conducted at the Nglanggeran Agricultural Technology Park (TTP) from April to July 2018. The treatment consisted of 4 combinations and 1 dick, namely: Provision of goat manure with a ratio of 1: 1, goat manure with a ratio of 1: 2 and fertilizer application liquid organic with a ratio (0.75) equivalent to 10 L / ha, the distribution of liquid organic fertilizer with a ratio (1.5) equivalent to 20 L / ha and control treatment. (Observations include plant height, leaf number, leaf length, leaf width, stem diameter, fresh weight and plant dry weight). Observation data were analyzed with variance at 5% real level. Differences between treatments were tested by the DMRT Multiple Range Test at a 5% level. Based on the results of the study, the effect of the combination of goat manure and liquid organic fertilizer showed no significant difference (no interaction) with all nursery observation variables. The results of the response of the administration of goat manure did not occur significantly to any variable of nursery observation. The administration of liquid organic fertilizers did not occur in a significant difference to the variables of nursery observation. The treatment of liquid organic fertilizer was not significantly different from the control
