Abstract

The integration of Qur'anic values in learning is an increasingly popular field in Education, therefore this research aims to determine the integration of Qur'anic values in Mathematics Learning This research uses a descriptive qualitative method through literature study research techniques. The data obtained based on 12 journal articles analyzed is based on a critical analysis of the available literature (articles based on scientific novelty content from 2017 to 2024 indexed on Google Scholar) data analysis techniques using VOS viewer software version 1.6.16 for graphical bibliometric mapping. Based on the data obtained Research shows the importance of combining Islamic values with mathematics to build character and advance education. Various models are proposed to integrate mathematical concepts from the Quran, such as numbers, relationships, operations, and measurements, in learning. This integration not only improves students' understanding of mathematics, but also creates a well-rounded educational experience. Therefore, it is highly recommended for teachers to teach mathematics by integrating with the values or verses of the Quran. So that students feel that learning mathematics useful for the development of student competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the practicality and effectiveness of a virtual laboratory based on Augmented Reality (AR) for teaching series circuits to 9th-grade students at SMPN 9 Kota Kediri. The media is designed to address students' difficulties in understanding concepts of current, voltage, and resistance, which often result from teacher-centered learning methods. The research method used in this study is research and development with ADDIE design are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validity of the media was assessed by experts, and its effectiveness was evaluated through pre-tests, post-tests, and questionnaires. AR technology enables a more interactive and visual learning experience without the limitations of physical laboratory tools. The design and development of the Augmented Reality (AR)-based virtual laboratory learning media effectively improve the learning outcomes and motivation of ninth-grade students at SMPN 9 Kota Kediri, particularly on the topic of series electric circuits.

Abstract

The use of technology-based learning media such as Kahoot has become increasingly popular in line with the growing need for engaging and interactive teaching methods, especially in the context of science education such as physics. Physics is a subject that contains many abstract concepts and is often considered difficult by students. Therefore, innovative approaches are needed to facilitate enjoyable conceptual understanding. Kahoot, as a game-based digital quiz platform, offers a fun and competitive alternative that can enhance students' learning motivation and active participation in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Kahoot as a learning medium in teaching physics on the topic of global warming in grade X at SMA Kolombo Sleman. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the use of Kahoot not only increases students' active participation but also strengthens their understanding of physics concepts related to global warming. In addition, students become more motivated to learn due to the competitive atmosphere and immediate feedback provided by the Kahoot application.

Abstract

Limited laboratory facilities remain a challenge in physics learning, especially for topics such as Uniform Linear Motion (GLB) and Uniformly Accelerated Linear Motion (GLBB). To address this issue, a Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted at SMAN 8 Yogyakarta using interactive virtual experiments based on PhET simulations. The study was carried out in two cycles involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and student worksheets (LKPD) assessment. Results showed that PhET simulations significantly improved student engagement and conceptual understanding. In class X-E1, 71.9% of students achieved a perfect score (100), and the rest scored above 62.5. Similar outcomes were found in classes X-E2 to X-E4, with most students achieving high scores. PhET proved to support contextual and interactive learning, enhancing student participation, concept mastery, and scientific process skills, while also providing meaningful learning experiences without relying on physical lab equipment.

Abstract

Physics learning is often perceived as challenging by students due to its abundance of abstract concepts and quantitative explanations. One strategy that can help facilitate understanding is the use of infographics as a visual representation medium. This study aims to identify and analyze the role of infographics in enhancing students’ comprehension of physics concepts, while also exploring their potential and challenges in secondary school settings. The method employed is a literature review of seven relevant scientific articles discussing the use of infographics in the context of physics education. The analysis was conducted by examining the key findings of each article and categorizing them based on indicators of learning benefits. The findings reveal that infographics can increase students’ learning interest, engagement, and academic performance, both in cognitive and affective domains. Furthermore, infographics are effective in fostering students’ creativity through the implementation of project-based learning models and problem-based approaches. Identified challenges include teachers’ limited skills in designing effective infographics and the availability of supporting resources. Overall, the use of infographics holds significant potential as an innovative strategy to visually represent scientific information and improve the quality of physics learning in secondary schools.
