Abstract

PT Sinar Panca Mitra Indonesia (SPMI) was founded in 2011, and this company is engaged in the textile sector (small - medium business). The company has three divisions namely Multihead Division (fabric), Tricod Division (fabric) and Twisting Division (yarn). Based on the data, PT SPMI has two box cars as distribution media to consumers. However, the use of two boxcars is considered to be less effective and efficient because one of the two boxcars only delivers to one point. The research results show that by applying the Saving Matrix Method, PT SPMI can save on the number of vehicles, number of workers, delivery time and expenses. The initial fee is Rp. 262,520 for each time a delivery is made to Rp. 212,316. Where the PT SPMI company can make savings of Rp. 50,204 every time you make a delivery

Abstract

Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) is an excess load on the vehicle. By definition, overload is a condition in which a vehicle carries a load that exceeds the specified load limit. While Overdimension is a condition where the dimensions of the vehicle carrier are not in accordance with production standards and regulatory provisions. The many negative impacts caused by ODOL; policy intervention is needed so that the target of zero ODOL can be realized immediately. This research is qualitative research that is a literature study (library research) that uses books and other literature as the main research object. The results of this study conclude that the zero ODOL policy must be realized immediately because many roads are damaged which causes many accidents, but requires joint awareness of the importance of implementing this policy

Abstract

CV. Rifky Arafa is a type of micro, small and medium enterprise (UMKM) which is engaged in the convection sector. Located in Kadugenep, Kab. Serang-Banten, it is also included in the center of the bag industry because the majority of the population are bag craftsmen. The beginning of this business was founded in 1997 by Bpk. H. Rohman’s and his brother, he used to work as a convection tailor in Jakarta. One year later, coinciding with the 1998 monetary crisis, caused many convection businesses in Jakarta to go bankrupt so that the migrants from Kadugenep Village automatically returned to their hometowns. The purpose of this research is to find out how the results of the analysis of business development strategies that must be carried out by CV. Rifky Arafa best done. And what are the results of the analysis using the SWOT and QSPM methods. The analysis used to formulate the strategy is the IFE matrix, EFE matrix, IE matrix, SWOT matrix and QSPM. Internal factors that influence the strength factor in developing a backpack business are three factors with the highest value, namely quality products, maintaining the quality of raw materials well, and CV. Rifky Arafa already has a business license (0.395), from the weakness factor, namely the need for additional capital costs to develop a business, especially CV. Rifky Arafa (0,129). While the external factors that influence the opportunity factor are the need to use sophisticated machines to increase production (0,603), and the threat factor is the increase in market demand in a certain month (0,235). CV. Rifky Arafa is in a position (growth and build) or grows and develops with IFE (3,161) and value of EFE is (3,066). The largest TAS value with a value of 8,000 is the need for work motivational guidance to its employees, and also the need for additional costs to develop a business in the bag industry center, especially on CV. Abstract

Quality has become the most important force that results in organizational success. Defective products can have an impact on the company's image, customer satisfaction and even company revenue. Quality control measures by means of analysis and prevention need to be done reduce defects. The purpose of this study was to identify the number of defects in the Adidas Super Nova shoe product, the level of DPMO and the sigma value of the product With the six sigma method towards zero defect (zero failure rate). five stages in its application, namely Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC). The research results of PT. Parkland World Indonesi obtained types of defects in shoes, consisting of 3 types, namely bigreat defects, stitching defects, and gluing defects (gluing strength of the sole). From 20649 the number of shoes examined, the most dominant defect was bigreat defect (glue stain), of 556 or 42% so that the average sigma value was 3.50 sigma. The suggestion given to provide training to operators so that the operator's ability and understanding becomes better, supervise operators at work, carry out regular checks and maintenance on the machines used

Abstract

Power Block Indonesia is a company engaged in the production of light bricks. Based on the document on the production of light brick raw materials, it was found to resist fractures, imprecision, non-standard wet and debris. This condition can hamper the quality of production in the manufacture of lightweight bricks due to many rejections in the production process. Product reject and result in low quality in the production of light brick making with a reject proportion of 4% that has been determined by the company. The purpose of research is to improve product quality, and reduce product. The research method used is the RCA (ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS) method, which is the method used to improve product quality at PT. Power Block Indonesia. Observations and interviews conducted in the light brick production area, there are several schools that must be taken immediately, including conducting regular training. Corrective action part of the quality caused by changes in quality from a predetermined standard. From the results of data analysis and discussion that the production process is out of control or is still experiencing irregularities. Based on the Pareto diagram it can damage the type of damage that occurred in PT. Power Block Indonesia is 88%, not precise is 0.07%, non-standard is 2.65%, wet is 0.39%, and debris is 9.14%. Abstract

Pia "Mahen", one of the MSMEs that produces pia cakes in an amount of around ± 7000 pieces every day with a total of 3 outlets with a production location in the center. The current state of production capacity is still not 100% able to meet customer demand so that there are several requests that are rejected due to limited production capabilities. Pia Mahen has 1 labor group of 8 production workers and 1 baking worker with regular working hours of 7 hours and overtime of 3 hours. With the calculation of standard capacity, it can be known the standard capabilities of labor and oven facilities within regular and overtime working hours so that the required labor can also be calculated. With alternatives including the addition of production labor groups or the addition of odd hours, it can be considered and calculated the average percentage of the difference in income if all requests are met with the production costs incurred, namely 17.75% on the alternative of adding permanent labor and 21.44% on the addition of odd labor. In addition, there is a transportation method that can help optimize demand fulfillment with the amount of production every day so that overtime hours and days off are also obtained

Abstract

Rembang Regency is one of the areas located on the north coast in Central Java Province. The population of Rembang Regency based on the Central Statistics Agency in 2021 is 647,766 people. The main commodities of Rembang Regency are Agriculture and Fisheries. The sector that is also the mainstay of Rembang Regency is Mining, where the existence of a cement factory is one of the factors influencing the rapid development of the mining sector in Rembang Regency. CV Pasir Mas is a split stone company that serves the milling and sales of split stone from Sendangwaru Village, Kragan District, Rembang Regency. Since 2000 it has been producing split stones but using traditional methods, namely by using human power to break stones into split stones. In this modern era, the role of the modern stone crusher is so vital that the Cone Crusher machine is very useful in the production and sale of split stone in CV. This Mas Sand. The method used by the authors in this study is the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), PP Payback Period, Profitability Index (PI) and Declining Balancing (DB) methods. The author conducted a survey by calculating the amount of income, the cost of buying the machine, the cost of installing the machine, the cost of mobilizing the company, the cost of purchasing raw materials, the cost of employee salaries and the expenses for maintaining machines and vehicles involved in the split stone production process. The results of the research show that the income is Rp. 5,288,141,000 annually, the NPV is Rp. 28,269,860,435. for an IRR of 9.04%, for a PI of 5.28 and depreciation of 1/5 every year the price of the Cone Crusher machine is Rp. 1,000,000,000, which means that in the first year there is a machine depreciation of Rp. 200,000,000

Abstract

Workload is a process or activity that must be completed by a worker within a certain period of time. If a worker is able to complete and adapt to a given number of tasks, then this does not become a workload. However, if the worker is not successful then the tasks and activities become a workload. Workload itself is one of the important factors that must be considered by the company in managing human resources. Excessive workload can cause stress and fatigue which can have an impact on employee performance in the company. Based on observations and interviews there were several periods when operators could not meet data entry targets, this happened because they worked under constant pressure so that some operators experienced work stress. With the problems that occur, this research will be carried out by calculating the analysis of work time and mental workload on the workforce in order to optimize the workforce. This type of research uses the Work Sampling method to obtain a total average time for data input process of 3.35 minutes taking into account the Performance Rating and the Allowance value. The NASA – TLX method results in the majority of the workforce having high workload scores. The value of high mental workload is 79 on operator 11 (Choirul Ashari). As well as the results of the Workload Analysis method, it results that the input data input operator experiences a high workload with a workload range of 26% - 96%.

Abstract

PT. Archipelago Sugar Synergy Sugar Factory Gempolkrep is a company engaged in the production of sugar. Located at Jalan Raya Gempolkrep, Suko Sewu, Kec. Gedek, Kabupaten Mojokerto, Jawa Timur. Sugar factory started operating in 1889 until now. Functionally, Sugar Factory’s work system is divided into two parts, Namely the production process which is carried out every six months and lasts for four until six months. While the remaining six months are used for machine preparation, maintenance and total replacement (Overhaul) on the machine for the next production process. Problems often occur during the milling season, especially in the station area Diffuser. In the subject matter the machine under study is machinery Cane Knife Sugarcane. This is due to the repair or replacement of blades due to damage to the machine causing the production process to stop. When the machine suddenly breaks down during the production process, so that costs in the form of losses due to lost production opportunities can increase. The heavier and more broken blade, the replacement process will take longer. Replacing it too often disrupts the production process and maintenance costs are high. By using the program method Age Replacement expected to provide information about the time to replace the knife on the machine Cane Knife Sugarcane which aims to avoid sudden damage during the milling process. And it is hoped that the company’s maintenance costs will not be high

Abstract

Parking is an important component in the needs of the transportation system so the need for parking spaces must be known before planning the construction of for example traditional markets. The market is one of the economic sectors that is a place to interact between sellers and buyers, one of which is the Sedati Customs Market. Parking spaces at the Sedati Customs market cannot accommodate vehicles during peak hours due to lack of parking space. This study aims to analyze parking characteristics, parking capacity, and parking space needs in the Sedati Customs market. Based on the results of research conducted from Monday, May 1, 2023 to Sunday, May 7, 2023, it was found that the maximum accumulation occurred on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at peak hours, namely 07.00 – 08.00 of 35 vehicles. The vehicle volume on the peak day, Saturday, May 6, 2023, reached 327 vehicles. The percentage of parking index from Monday, May 1, 2023 to Sunday, May 7, 2023 has exceeded 100%, indicating that parking capacity is not enough to accommodate incoming vehicles. The parking capacity owned by the Sedati Customs market is only 20 SRP while the required capacity is based on a maximum accumulation of 35 vehicles. Parking needs at the Sedati Customs market found that parking spaces require 15 more SRP in order to accommodate vehicles during peak hours
