Abstract

XYZ is a company engaged in the textile industry sector with its main product being gray fabric. The main part of increasing productivity is to pay attention to maintenance problems in the machine. One of the obstacles faced by companies in production is downtime which results in ineffective production levels so that production targets are not achieved and cause waste. The purpose of this study is to improve the performance of the washer machine by applying Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. The research methods used are qualitative methods, case studies using design guidelines, data collection and data analysis approaches with clear evidence sources, as well as literature reviews so that a conclusion is obtained. The results showed that the availability rate of washer machines in November was more than the average for the 2020-2021 period was 86.90%. The performance rate in November had a smaller difference than the average for the 2020-2021 period of 88.59%. The rate of quality in November had a difference less than the average for the 2020-2021 period of 99.47%. The overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) in November was more than the average for the 2020-2021 period of 76.57%.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Parahyangan Golf Club in Bandung. The purpose of this study was to determine the appropriateness of marketing strategy management based on the level of suitability of the increase and decrease in visitors at Parahyangan Golf Bandung. Currently, golf is increasingly in demand by foreign and domestic tourists. Golf is also used as one of the main programs of tourists who carry out convention events and is used as a competition or tournament. The competition that occurs is very tight between one golf course and another. conducted at Parahyangan Golf Bandung. Based on the results of this study, the results obtained showed an increase and decrease in visitors every month caused by several factors affecting visitors and marketing strategies

Abstract

In this growing age, more and more companies and new businesses are emerging. This results in increasingly fierce competition between business competition in goods or services. Every company must have support for businesses that must be sought to generate maximum profit by adding costs. This can be realized by companies with the right supplier selection. Suppliers who cannot cause problems can cause significant losses to the company. PT Len Industri is currently engaged in the electronics industry.. LEN also continues to actively support the country by providing products in the fields of defense, transportation and ICT (Information & Communication Technology). So far the company still chooses suppliers in the usual way. This study studies to study how the application of basic AHP suppliers at PT. Len Industri. Abstract

The diesel engine is a machine that converts heat energy directly into mechanical energy. In a four-stroke diesel engine, the working principle is to complete one cycle or a series of work processes to produce combustion, and one stroke of effort requires four strokes of the piston. This study aims to determine engine torque, engine power and fuel consumption in a 16-cylinder diesel engine. This research method was carried out experimentally by taking data using a dynamometer to obtain torque and engine power values. The results showed that each change in engine speed can affect the value of engine torque, engine power value and the amount of fuel consumption. This is because the higher the engine speed, the more combustion that will produce power than the engine itself, because the engine is a 4-stroke diesel engine, so every two rotations of the engine will produce one business step that will rotate the flywheel. The highest engine torque occurs at 1500 rpm with a value of 6061.161 lbft and the highest engine power occurs at 1800 rpm with a value of 1,861,691 HP, this happens because it is protection from the engine itself that is set by the manufacturer. While the highest fuel consumption occurs at 1900 rpm engine speed with a value of 0.354 lb/hp-hr

Abstract

Based on sales data of PT. Rinnai Indonesia-Cikupa, there is an increase in sales of 15% stoves in 2021. Conditions that often occur are damage to production equipment including end forming, rolling, bending 90°, drilling, buffing, and stamping machines. This study aims to determine the level of performance of the bending machine 90° and proposed improvements with a preventive maintenance approach. The research was conducted during January-December 2021 using reliability analysis method and failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) methods. Based on the reliability analysis. The overall availability (Ao) value of 88% is still below the world standard (≥90%). And from the failure mode and effect analysis, the RPN value is 352. This is due to the high downtime of the dominant component. Namely the encoder with a frequency of 86 times of damage and a downtime of 415 hours

Abstract

CV. Deallova Nusantara Hs is a home industry business engaged in the production of shoes, ethnic sandals and leather. The problem faced is the level of sales that is not stable until the level of sales decreases which is caused by internal and external factors in the company. The purpose of this study is to identify problems and analyze development strategies in CV. Deallova Nusantara Hs. Then provide a proposed development strategy with SWOT analysis and QSPM matrix. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach by processing data starting from the input stage, data processing stage, and the decision-making stage to determine the strategy. The process of determining the strategy consists of processing IFE and EFE data, SWOT analysis, and the QSPM matrix for the formulation of strategies that will be used by CV. Deallova Nusantara Hs. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, it was obtained from the strength factor with the highest value of good service to consumers, the TAS score was 0.297, while the weakness factor with the lowest was the lack of advertisements for production publications, the TAS score was 0.1126, and the opportunity factor with the highest score was Collaborating with government agencies and companies. TAS is 0.4161, while the threat factor with the lowest score is the proliferation of innovative products from competitors with a TAS score of 0.2194

Abstract

PT. Asia Chemical Industry (ACI) is a company engaged in the field of Chemical Adhesives. It is management policy to produce high quality and consistent Adhesives. In accordance with the standards determined by consumers and always maintain customer satisfaction with quality standards through specification information that is included in every shipment, sale, in addition to competitive price factors from similar companies. The adhesive in the process often experiences production delays caused by the adhesive machine (waterbase latex mixer) caused by non-routine maintenance of machine components so that the machine production is damaged which causes breakdown, resulting in downtime. As a result, the performance time is reduced, the production of the resulting product quality results in losses. Therefore, an effective step in the analysis of total predictive maintenance to measure the performance level of the adhesive machine can use the OEE method to determine the performance level of the adhesive machine that has decreased, and the FMEA method to analyze the proposed improvement. From the research conducted, the results of the OEE calculation on the adhesive machine during the period January - December 2021 obtained OEE values ​​ranging from 69.02% to 81.40%. This condition indicates that the adhesive machine's ability to achieve the target has not yet reached the ideal condition, which is below 85%. . The factor that gives the biggest contribution to the adhesive machine, namely the performance efficiency factor, has caused a decrease in the performance level of the machine, causing downtime

Abstract

lack of supervision at work and lack of identification of potential hazards in the workplace. Make recommendations for improvement to reduce the impact of OSH risks. Using the job Safety analysis method, for each potential hazard, the severity and likelihood values ​​will be calculated using the Australian Standard/New Zealand Standard matrix. Research shows that there are 2 low potentials, 19 medium potentials and 3 high potentials. The results obtained are still a lot of hazard risks with medium risk potential, so it can be said that the work activities carried out by workers have not met the safe conditions. Recommendations can be made by making the Job Safety Analysis worksheet as a corrective action, the JSA worksheet as well as an evaluation reference to the deviations that occur. As a preventive measure the emergence of potential hazards can use the design of operational standards procedures for standardization

Abstract

A centrifugal pump is a device or machine for moving liquids from one place to another by using centrifugal force caused by impeller motion and at the same time converting the kinetic energy of the fluid into compressive force on the liquid being moved and takes place continuously while at the same time converting the kinetic energy of the fluid into compressive force. . This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the inlet pressure of the water flow on the performance of centrifugal water pumps. The method used in this study is the experimental method by conducting direct testing of research tools. Based on the results of testing the water pump installation, and based on the research objectives, it can be concluded that the highest pump shaft power value occurs at an inlet pressure of 0.01 kg/cm2 with a value of 0.3093 kWatt, then the highest hydraulic power value occurs at an outlet pressure of 0 .02 kg/cm2 with a value of 0.1380 kWatt, and the highest pump efficiency value occurs at an outlet pressure of 0.04 kg/cm2 with a value of 50.0109%.

Abstract

Surabaya Typical Souvenirs "HONEST" is a shop that sells Surabaya specialties which are available in almost all areas of Surabaya, both East Surabaya, North Surabaya, West Surabaya, South Surabaya, and some are in the Sidoarjo area. One of the drawbacks is the layout facilities, namely the position of placing the storefront which is too boring so that it makes customers who come uncomfortable and less interested in the placement of the store layout. To increase customer interest regarding the layout, it can be improved by redesigning the facility layout. The proposal for improving the facilities was taken because there is still a lot of empty space in the typical Surabaya souvenir shop "HONEST" so that it can be maximized to support customer facilities. The area approach in the typical Surabaya souvenir shop "HONEST" uses the Activity Relationship Chart (ARD) and Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD) methods. The two methods resulted in 2 areas that had to be brought closer together and became proposed improvement areas, namely the parking area and the waiting area. After the proposed area is known, enter the bloc plan stage, at this stage 3 proposed plans are produced from the proposed area chosen by the respondents
