Abstract

Background: Modules have several advantages, such as being self-instructional, self-contained, standalone, adaptive, and user-friendly, making them valuable as learning media for parents. The Mindfulness Parenting Prevent Stunting (MPCS) i module developed in this study is an innovative effort to improve parenting quality by focusing on mindfulness in parenting, emotional awareness, and wise responses. It aims to strengthen the relationship between parents and children to support healthy growth and development, thereby helping to prevent stunting. Method: This study used a Research and Development (R&D) approach based on the ADDIE model, developed by Robert Maribe Branch in 1975, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Results: The module was assessed through expert validation and small-scale testing. It received an 84.46% rating from media experts (considered fairly valid with minor revisions), 100% from subject matter experts (very valid), and 94.67% from small-scale tests (very valid). Conclusion: The development of the MPCS module to improve parenting is worthwhile and recommended for use.
